The Orchards Niseko

We had an amazing stay at Fox Lodge in Niseko. The house was clean, very spacious, and offered breathtaking views of both Mt. Yotei and Mt. Niseko-Annupuri from the living room—truly enchanting! Its convenient location made it easy for us to grab delicious Japanese food from Coop and AEON upon our arrival. The next day, we enjoyed a delightful Japanese-French meal at a nearby restaurant. A special thanks to Ms. Aga and Mr. Ben from the Guest Services team for their exceptional help during our stay. Thank you, once again! Highly recommended!

Stayed 6 days at Chalet Shimai and had one of the best skiing trips ever. Love the interior of the chalet, the kitchen has everything you need (even a blender and a hotpot), small little details everywhere (Nintendo Switch, boardgames) and great amenities (en-suite Onsen, free shuttle service to the lift, heated floors are a game changer). Can recommend everybody to stay at Chalet Shimai

Tucked away just a short distance from the lively Hirafu junction in Niseko, Shimai, The Orchards, stands as a serene retreat that feels deeply like a home away from home. This special place, balancing proximity to adventure with the bliss of solitude, hosted me, my wife, her sister (this trip was in part, her birthday celebrations), their cousin, and partner. Shimai’s allure was so magnetic, it inspired a poetic appreciation for its beauty. The thoughtful interior design of Shimai immediately caught our collective eye. A power socket discreetly placed under the dining table might seem a minor detail, but it became the hero of a memorable hotpot dinner, demonstrating the thoughtful consideration woven into every aspect of the house. These moments of discovery were a recurring joy. The heated floors felt like a warm embrace after a day spent in the chill of Niseko, transforming our return to Shimai into a welcome respite from the cold. The kitchen, with its seemingly endless array of high-quality and perhaps unnecessary appliances; was a home cook’s dream. And the plates, so elegantly designed, seemed they could as easily adorn a wall as serve a meal. By the end of our stay, the enchantment of Shimai had woven its way so deeply into my heart that I half-seriously inquired about purchasing it. Such was the depth of our connection to this place. It wasn’t just the physical comfort but the thoughtful touches and the sense of belonging that made Shimai so unforgettable. Shimai wasn’t just a backdrop to our holiday; it was a participant, cradling us in comfort and beauty, making every moment feel significant. This place didn’t just host us; it embraced us, making it hard to say goodbye. Shimai, The Orchards Niseko, was more than an accommodation—it was a haven that promised and delivered a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and beauty, making every detail of our stay something to cherish. So, forgive my poetic musings; such is the effect of a place that touches your soul.

Shimai locates just a 3-min drive from hirafu jujigai, quiet yet convenient. The house itself has all you need - a fully equipped kitchen with free condiments, a Japanese style bath, even a pool table! Spotless and everything worked perfectly. I will definitely stay at Shimai again if I return to Niseko!
