Hotel is one station away from Kyoto station so it is a quieter area further away from big stores. Hotel is comfortable and the interior was really a good style that feels different from regular hotels. The coin laundry was a little expensive.

Dusty room Cleanliness can be better. The room was dusty and led to allergic reactions. The air purifier was no help because it was filled was dust, I wished the hotel had cleaned it on a usual basis. There were stains on the underside of the blanket. Thankfully there was room service everyday and they were considerate not to touch our personal belongings. Location was great as it was just beside Gojo station, there were bus stops just outside the hotel too. Family mart was just few minutes walk away. Most procedures were self-serviced, but the staff did help us once and they were very nice and friendly.

Great location, the hotel was only a 5 min. walk to gojo train station. The room was very clean and the japanese employee was very friendly. There is a luggage storage service and breakfast was also nice. The room floor was tatami which was a great experience. This room is perfect for 2 people.

It is mega clean for the hotel. Staff are professional trained and explained everything in detail!! The bed is super comfy which also include slippers and pyjamas! Highly recommend for couples and friends to travel near Kyoto!

3-minute walking distance to Gojo station. Spacious room with nice design in Tatami style with Kyoto tower view. Receptionists don’t look friendly. Toiletries and sleepwear are provided and placed near to the lobby lift. Beverage vending machines at Level 2. Quieter area compared to Kyoto station and Gion but have Family Mart, Lawson, McDonalds within walking distance. No special arrangement for anniversary celebration.

2 mins walk away from Gojo station, super easy to get around all the sights! Family mart at the end of the street, lots of bus stops🚌 Room was simple and cosy with the traditional tatami mat style, totally fine for a few nights stay. Fresh towels every day and pajamas!💤 Breakfast was a 3.5 stars for me; lots of variety of drinks and Japanese style breakfast- hot food such as eggs sausage bacon etc was a bit cold even though we had breakfast around 7:30. Fruit and salad was lovely- soy milk pudding was the best!🍊

The hotel was nice and clean with a very beautiful Japanese styles interior, a small water fountain in the hotel lobby with quiet and peaceful ambient music. The hotel room was super cozy but a little compact if you’re visiting with friends, it separated into 2 sections, rock flooring (where you take off your shoes) toilets and bathrooms are In that area as well and tatami flooring area where shoes were not allowed, it gives you an authentic Japanese ryokan feeling while also being very mordent and cozy. My favourite part of this hotel room was the design, it’s very Japanese and you could control the brightness level of the room as well, it gives you a calming and peaceful staying experience. The beds were very comfortable too, but it could be too low for some. One of the drawbacks of the room was that there were no see through windows. Might just be my room. Overall it is a very good hotel, staff were friendly and helpful and speaks well English. I would highly recommend you to stay in this hotel!

Amazing hotel located near to metro station! Stayed here for our anniversary day in December and they got us this omg! And our room can see the Kyoto Tower which is really a bonus! Love the japanese style room and thanks so much for hotel staff’s preparation and arrangement! Highly recommended!
