"Sakura Terrace is only 3 mins walking from Kyoto station, there are 2 blocks seperating by the main road. There is a taxi stand next to it too. I like the free Spa and sauna. I also enjoy the free drink offers in the evening with a variety of alcohol. . You need to be early for the breakfast else you will be stuck in the queue outside."

"The hotel facilities are a bit old. When booking a room, I didn't pay attention to the difference between random room types, which refer to smoking and non-smoking. I arrived late and stayed in a smoking room. Both of us had coughs in our throats and didn't sleep well all night. The purifier didn't work, and the smell was just smoke. Alas! However, the small bathhouse downstairs is very good, the hotel is close to the subway, and the front desk service is very good, although the room is not very satisfactory. Everyone must pay attention to choosing a non-smoking room~"

"The hotel is not far from Kyoto Station. It is a Japanese-style hotel. When checking in, the lady at the front desk will give a comprehensive introduction to the use and precautions of various things, and there is no problem in English. There is a rental service at the front desk. The convenience store did not give me chopsticks and spoons, so I borrowed them from the front desk. The room is quite large, and there is a TV to watch. The air conditioner is not very effective at heating, but the quilt is thick enough. Sencha bags and senbei are given for you to eat."

"From the entrance to the inn, I was able to have a luxurious experience in a historic townscape that was beyond my imagination. The room is clean and I am very satisfied! In addition, when using the lounge, the hospitality of the staff was excellent, offering fragrant tea and alcohol, and we were able to have fun conversations. "Hotel Material was a great value stop in our tour of Japan. We stayed for 2 nights as a family of four and it provided everything we needed. The bunks were large and ample for even adults. The sunken king bed was unusual, but easily the largest bed I slept in in Japan and well worth the investment. The shower was also excellent with both great water pressure and was tall enough to accommodate me at 6ft without sitting, a first for me here. The room was clean and well presented and even came with some games to occupy the kids. The staff weee helpful and happy to look after our bags before check in. The hotel also has a lovely roof terrace available which we weren’t expecting."

"A very cost-effective hotel, very convenient to various attractions, and the price is really good for the same location and conditions! There is also a large bathhouse where you can take a dip, and the breakfast is also good. Overall, it is really an excellent hotel."

"Although the room is relatively small, it has everything it needs and is still nice to live in. National hatred and family feuds, but I appreciate their indoor shooting. It is cleaned very well, and there is no scale on the sink countertop. The hotel breakfast is not recommended, 1000 yen, and it is Western food, which is not cost-effective and not very good. It is about 20 minutes walk from Kyoto Station. There is a Daiei Ramen next to it. I saw locals queuing every day. I tried it and it was really delicious."

"Convenient location. 1 min walk away from bus stop and train station. 15-20 mins away from Kyoto station. Quite a lot of things nearby to shop and explore! Beautiful temples and sceneries. You can take a short bus ride to Nishiki Market and Gion District. AMAZING ROOM, huge & we got upgraded bc they had a lack of rooms. Will definitely come back to this hotel agn. If you need anything like HDMI adaptor, etc u can just ask the counter, they have a lot of things hidden in their storage. Super clean, super neat and enjoyed the onsen bath."

"Gorgeous hotel with a convenient location close to the core of Kyoto. It's quiet yet easily accessible to the noisier/crowded parts ie. Sanjo station or department stores. It's comfortable enough for a couple with a huge bathroom and a separate toilet area. A delicious welcome drink & snack was offered upon arrival and they have a free snack bar downstairs where the onsen & laundry area is. The onsen was very clean with amenities provided and enough lockers/ cosmetics station(hair dryer & lotions/gels). I saw a lot of tourists from different countries staying here and everyone seemed to enjoy their stay. Saw some comments about the fire station/ noise but it didn't really bother me or my husband much so I found it quite minor as everything else worked out well with my itinerary and trip plans. Greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to revisit again soon."
