LLorryliuJust a few minutes' walk from Kawaramachi subway station, tucked away in an alley. It's surrounded by all sorts of shops and restaurants. It backs onto a historic walking street and is close to the Kamo River. The area is really quiet and peaceful. How can I put it? For 150 (currency not specified), it felt like I was staying in a 350 (currency not specified) place.

LLostinasiaIf you want to make international friends and are into the backpacker vibe, this is the place for you. Very clean. Polite staff. Able to store luggage before check in. Location is right in the middle of the tourist district. Sometimes the elevator was very slow to pick you up if a busy time. My capsule room had a rip in the screen which let light in. Of course, the nature of this hotel is you are close to your neighbors. While they tried to be quiet, you could hear everything. Request away from the entrance and hallways for most soundproof area. View from common area very picturesque.

YyzcitsitnafExperienced a very good youth travel, stayed for five nights. The front desk staff was very gentle and patient. The hygiene is very clean, often see the staff cleaning, very careful. The public area is fully equipped, the tea bags are very rich, especially the matcha milk powder is particularly delicious, very amazing, the taste is very sweet, basically drink every day. (In the picture, I made the matcha milk) The location of the Youth Hostel is also very good. It is very close to the four prosperous areas. It is not far from the subway station bus stop (within ten minutes). There are several convenience stores around. There is a fried pork chop rice nearby.

GGuest UserKyoto was the main stop on this trip, so I had high expectations for this hotel in Omiya. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto's most prosperous Shijo shopping street, which isn't too close, but still very convenient. There are bus stops and subway stations nearby, so getting around is still very convenient. However, if you want to avoid walking, it's best to book a room in Shijo. There's free housekeeping once every three nights, but we didn't tell the front desk before 8 p.m. one night in advance, so we didn't use it. The toothbrush was very difficult to use, much worse than the hotel in Nagoya.

GGuest UserFriendly service, attendant helped us figure out how to use the stove, nice large room with solid space to put luggage. Decently spacious bathroom. Would be nice if they provided more utensils in the room 1 pair of chopsticks and a single fork is a little limiting. The Japanese beds can be easily folded up to give a serious amount of floor space. Located 50m away from a bus stop is pretty sweet and also directly across the road is a massive grocery/pharmacy store, very much able ro save some money and cook your own meals if need be on top avoiding the konbini prices. Also 100m from a 7/11 so easy access to an atm. Really great deal, we ended up cooking a wicked yakiniku in the room for bargain end of day closing prices on the meat ( photo attached

KKheirallah JadThe place is super close to alot of mainstream attractions. Easily walking or one train stop away from Kyoto main station. The host is super knowledgeable on the Kyoto attractions and very helpful. Everyone in the team speaks English extremely well . The place is super clean and very organized. You can see the love given to his place. Dont skip the chat in the main lobby as you can learn alot from the host and other staff. Kudos for their passion. Definitely a place for me to come back.

永永露江未子The room is clean, large and reasonable. It is very close to the station. There was also a coin laundry. There was a large refrigerator and a microwave. The room was large, so it was relaxing and very comfortable. I would like to use it again.

LLeben.WanThe hotel's facilities are quite good, though the only minor drawback might be the poor soundproofing. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, offering convenient access to major attractions in Kyoto. The subway station is about a 20-minute walk away. As for the amenities, the hotel is well-equipped with individual shower rooms and toilets on each floor. The washing machine and lounge area are located on the fifth floor. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator. If you have large luggage, you can inform the front desk to arrange a room on a lower floor.
