Lagoa Hotel
"Very good and clean. There is a swimming pool outside. It is beautiful at night. The location is also very good. The lagoa bus station is just a few minutes walk away. It is very convenient to go to Lisbon."
Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa
"A beautiful hotel surrounded by magnificent gardens. We'd barely arrived when something unimaginable happened: a blackout on the Iberian Peninsula. The hotel managers responded in an exemplary manner: they provided information, provided everyone with a water bottle, and served cold meals and free grilled dishes in the restaurant in the evenings. The emergency generator also ran for a few hours. So, despite the uncertainty, we felt well looked after. Enjoying the sun by the beautiful pool area is also nothing to be sniffed at. The breakfast buffet was varied, including a good selection for vegans and vegetarians. We really enjoyed, among other things, the delicious, sweet fruit."
Tivoli Carvoeiro
"What an amazing visit! Went to Tivoli Carvoeiro to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday and the attention we received from everyone at the hotel was first class. All the staff went above and beyond what was expected of them which made the experience so memorable and special."
Pestana Gramacho Residences
"Great location. Service was so-so. Some amenities weren't working properly."
Carvoeiro Garden Hotel
"Good view. Should have rent a car to get there and some weird smell in room."
Pestana Viking - Beach & Golf Resort
"I searched the internet for a long time deciding where we should go for our first trip to Portugal. We wanted calm, peaceful holiday on the beach with unique views. I’m so glad I chose Pestana Viking hotel! It went above and beyond my expectations. The location is on a cliff above a beautiful beach with a lovely restaurant and a secret tunnel to the next beach. The hotel has a beautiful big outdoor pool with plenty of sunbeds looking out to the ocean. There is an indoor pool and spa. The breakfast was good but not a huge variety. The room was lovely with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. All round it was just the trip we hoped for."
Vale d'El Rei Hotel & Villas
"The hotel chain as always unbeatable. In general, the assessment is a 10. Regards"
Vila Alba Resort
"We loved this place! It had everything for a nice family stay: beach access, pool, playground, restaurant, spa."
Albergaria Dom Manuel Hotel
"This Hotel is a good location for very good beaches within relatively easy reach. The hotel is very clean with comfortable beds, well sized rooms and the pool facility is also excellent. On top of all of this the staff there and all excellent - by far the most helpful and accommodating team I have ever experienced in my travels. Leading by example Alessandro and his wife are helpful and ensure that they are available to support the needs of customers and deal with any concerns as fast as they can. Their experience and knowledge of the region helped us to find excellent restaurants and beaches. Amazing people who deserve 5 star rating ."

"Perfect place to spend your holiday, lovely pool, spacious and clean room, and warm service. Next time I'll still book here."
Colina da Lapa & Villas
"Good location near beaches and beautiful cities Accommodation is limited but sufficient Convenient for traveling"
Hotel Casabela
"We've stayed here before so were looking forward to going back. The gardens down to the beach were previously were tranquil and interesting, the pool a lovely attraction and great views. However, this time we were quite disappointed. The pool was still good. But the bar/cafe didn't open until 12 and closed at 6pm. Lots of people didn't arrive to sit around the pool until late afternoon so 6pm closing is too early. The lack of food on offer was poor. We didn't eat as we didn't want a toasted sandwich. Breakfast is not great. It's a buffet in a very small area so when the hotel is busy it's hard work. Same limited selection daily. Some days pastries good - other days quite stale. No atmosphere around the bar area in the evening. It was used to sit and wait for someone before going out. Good car parking, great location just out of town but an easy 25 min walk."
Castelo Guest House
"Amazing location with sea and cliff views and walking access to the beach, restaurants, town patios, etc. Very clean room with comfortable beds and quiet AC. Enjoyed breakfast on the patio. Helpful concierge recommended a great boat tour. A wonderful stay - thank you!"
Vale da Lapa Village Resort
"Quite a nice resort on its own. But not within walking distance to anything. I was there for 3 nights, I dun think the resort was fully booked, but I was given the room furthest from the lobby. was not such a big deal as I drive. But feel a slight anti-asian sentiment."
Vilalara Grand Hotel Algarve
"Absolutely stunning experience! This was our second time in this hotel and we are definitely coming back! Thanks to the whole hotel team to make our stay a magic!"
Vale de Milho Village
"Nice, comfortable, quiet, and spacious apartments. Each apartment is equipped with a wonderful swimming pool. It is surprising how cool the apartment is indoors even if it's hot outside. We enjoyed a 3-room apartment with the bedrooms on the 1st floor - each room equipped with a spacious bathroom (shower + toilet); the master bedroom had a bathtub. Ground floor the living room, dining table, and an open kitchen fit for a family of 6, a spacious balcony large and roomy enough to keep the warmth outside and children to play on. The swimming pool is perfect! It is not that large, but it runs deep near the back (~170 cm), which I appreciate as an experienced swimmer but if you have toddlers may be something to keep in mind. Your 'personal' swimming pool in the garden offers you sufficient privacy even though the gardens are interconnected to enable passages for the gardeners. The housekeeping is lovely and always looking to make your stay a pleasant one providing you with fresh, clean lovely smelling towels."
Hotel Carvoeiro Plaza
Colina Village
"Nice complex, friendly staff"
Villa Welwitshia
"The Welwitshia Guest House is absolutely beautiful. I booked a family room for myself and three sisters and we were delighted when we walked in the door. It was like a small apartment! There was plenty of room for four of us with lots of storage and a large bathroom. We were on the ground floor and had a lovely terrace leading on to pretty grounds and on to the pool. The breakfast room was large and airy, overlooking the pool and grounds. We were surprised to learn that the Welwitshia has been open for ten years as it is immaculate. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be returning"
Quinta Tapada Do Gramacho
"I have travelled since I was a kid all over the world, but I believe this is the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed at all things considered. Me and my wife have stayed there two years in a row now. I would recommend it to everyone except for noise groups of people since it is a very soothing and relaxing place."
Carvoeiro B&B and Spa
"Just as others have said before, this place is an oasis of calm where you can unwind, relax, and have some time for self care and rejuvenation. Vincenza and Massimo are absolutely committed to personal and attentive care during your stay and genuinely light up when they meet you and are truly saddened when it’s your time to leave. If you’re looking for a break from the pace of life, look no further. It also serves as a great home base to further explore Carvoeiro and the surrounding areas with all the Algarve has to offer. The fresh squeezed orange juice and breakfast is such a delightful way to start each day. As someone who doesn’t normally eat breakfast, I still found myself looking forward to this meal as the perfect start to each day. I can only hope that I find equally wonderful accommodations in my future travels and that one day my travels will bring me back to Portugal for another stay with Vincenza and Massimo!"
Vila Vita Parc
"Vila Vita Parc is a truly lovely hotel and unlike anywhere I have stayed before. The service is excellent, and the twice-daily room service is very much appreciated. There is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, offering different styles of cuisine. Although they are slightly expensive, the quality makes the prices acceptable. I would definitely stay here again next time."
Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve
Monte Santo Resort
"We extended my stay for another night. Overall, the resort is nice. One thing worth mentioning is that air conditioning in the apartment is very noisy, probably due to its age. We had to turn the air conditioning off during night. The ventilation fan in bathrooms are also very noisy."
