Lagoa Hotel
"The location is very close to the Lagoa bus station, which is very convenient for going to Lisbon. It is not far to take a taxi to the Navy Beach. It is very suitable for leisure and vacation. The staff are very enthusiastic"
Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa
"A beautiful hotel surrounded by magnificent gardens. We'd barely arrived when something unimaginable happened: a blackout on the Iberian Peninsula. The hotel managers responded in an exemplary manner: they provided information, provided everyone with a water bottle, and served cold meals and free grilled dishes in the restaurant in the evenings. The emergency generator also ran for a few hours. So, despite the uncertainty, we felt well looked after. Enjoying the sun by the beautiful pool area is also nothing to be sniffed at. The breakfast buffet was varied, including a good selection for vegans and vegetarians. We really enjoyed, among other things, the delicious, sweet fruit."
Tivoli Carvoeiro
"What an amazing visit! Went to Tivoli Carvoeiro to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday and the attention we received from everyone at the hotel was first class. All the staff went above and beyond what was expected of them which made the experience so memorable and special."
Pestana Gramacho Residences
"Great location. Service was so-so. Some amenities weren't working properly."
Carvoeiro Garden Hotel
"Good view. Should have rent a car to get there and some weird smell in room."
Pestana Viking - Beach & Golf Resort
"I searched the internet for a long time deciding where we should go for our first trip to Portugal. We wanted calm, peaceful holiday on the beach with unique views. I’m so glad I chose Pestana Viking hotel! It went above and beyond my expectations. The location is on a cliff above a beautiful beach with a lovely restaurant and a secret tunnel to the next beach. The hotel has a beautiful big outdoor pool with plenty of sunbeds looking out to the ocean. There is an indoor pool and spa. The breakfast was good but not a huge variety. The room was lovely with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. All round it was just the trip we hoped for."
Vale d'El Rei Hotel & Villas
"The hotel chain as always unbeatable. In general, the assessment is a 10. Regards"
Vila Alba Resort
"Everything is great, but I wouldn't say it's 5 star hotel though"
Albergaria Dom Manuel Hotel
"This Hotel is a good location for very good beaches within relatively easy reach. The hotel is very clean with comfortable beds, well sized rooms and the pool facility is also excellent. On top of all of this the staff there and all excellent - by far the most helpful and accommodating team I have ever experienced in my travels. Leading by example Alessandro and his wife are helpful and ensure that they are available to support the needs of customers and deal with any concerns as fast as they can. Their experience and knowledge of the region helped us to find excellent restaurants and beaches. Amazing people who deserve 5 star rating ."

Castelo Guest House
"The view is really good. It's in the middle of the south, so it's really good to go to Lagos or Seville."
Colina Village
"Nice complex, friendly staff"
Monte Santo Resort
"The room is relatively new and clean. There are washing machines, dishwashers, and kitchens inside, so you can cook your own food, which is very cost-effective. It's just a bit far from the beach, you can't do it without a car, and it's not convenient to buy things around"
Vila Vita Parc
"The renovated property is immaculate. The rooms tastefully designed, modern amenities, beautiful views. Breakfast is a dream along with the views from Atlantica Restaurant. The staff bend over backwards. 54 acres of pure joy."
Vilalara Grand Hotel Algarve
"Perfect blend between luxury and wellness"
Vale da Lapa Village Resort
"Quite a nice resort on its own. But not within walking distance to anything. I was there for 3 nights, I dun think the resort was fully booked, but I was given the room furthest from the lobby. was not such a big deal as I drive. But feel a slight anti-asian sentiment."
Ukino Palmeiras Village - 24h All Inclusive
"Location - decent. Close to a host of family themed parks. An uber away from zoomarina, splash n slide, aqua land. albufeira also an Uber away. Atmosphere - poor. We were there during the World Cup and although games were being shown there was no sound on which was strange. Around the pools was a bit crazy. Very busy. There were 3 slides, however they were a bit boring after kids had been on them a few times. We also had the experience of the pool being cleared due to contamination. Room - we had booked a room for a family of 4. 2 kids, a boy (11) & girl (7). We got a sofa bed which was absolutely terrible. Asked on multiple occasions throughout the stay to get additional pillows, a topper for the bed etc however got absolutely nothing. 10 nights with that for 2 kids was quite honestly a shambles. Animations Team - the poorest I’ve encountered. They had no interest in interacting with people (well English people). The night time shows were awful. The kids area where they had the mini disco was poor, the mini discos were poor. Cleanliness - our room was kept spotless by the team so huge credit to them. Food - we used the 2 main restaurants throughout the holiday. Can’t fault the food but when it was busy the place was horrible. Kids running wild, no glasses etc available for drinks bar paper cups. Value for money - yeah, for £3.6k for 10 nights In july it was ok. Personally I wouldn’t return but I would recommend it for anyone with a young family to go for a week."
Carvoeiro B&B and Spa
"A little piece of heaven in Carvoeiro. This accommodation is truly the most peaceful oasis. Every detail is perfect. The most amazing hosts Vincenza and Massimo who make you feel right at home. Beautiful facilities..pool, 2 jacuzzis and a sauna! Rooms are extremely comfortable and so well maintained. Breakfast was fresh each morning and was plentiful with fresh pastries, bread and orange juice. A wonderful selection. Only a 25 minute walk to centre of Carvoeiro and taxi is only approx €6.00. We would highly recommend this property."
Hotel Casabela
"We've stayed here before so were looking forward to going back. The gardens down to the beach were previously were tranquil and interesting, the pool a lovely attraction and great views. However, this time we were quite disappointed. The pool was still good. But the bar/cafe didn't open until 12 and closed at 6pm. Lots of people didn't arrive to sit around the pool until late afternoon so 6pm closing is too early. The lack of food on offer was poor. We didn't eat as we didn't want a toasted sandwich. Breakfast is not great. It's a buffet in a very small area so when the hotel is busy it's hard work. Same limited selection daily. Some days pastries good - other days quite stale. No atmosphere around the bar area in the evening. It was used to sit and wait for someone before going out. Good car parking, great location just out of town but an easy 25 min walk."
Hotel Carvoeiro Plaza
Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve
Hotel Rural Brícia du Mar
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The entire property is beautifully maintained, modern, and very clean. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and each one comes with a lovely terrace – perfect for relaxing. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff throughout the hotel – whether at the pool, in the restaurant, or at the reception – were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay! "
Caneiros Luxury House & Suites
"Fantastic small boutique hotel just five minutes walk from the beach. Really relaxed vibe, extremely peaceful, and great service. Also, breakfast is excellent, and the pool very picturesque and refreshing in the Algarve heat - never was unable to get a sunbed."
