Hotels near Zuoying Station, Kaohsiung

The location is great, about a 7-minute walk from Cianjin MRT station. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The first room we were assigned was quite noisy, and we had to contact the front desk twice to change rooms before we found one we were happy with. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms each time. Having a coin-operated laundry room was also very convenient!

This ***** New Year, I stayed here with my family. The free drinks, coffee, tea, and instant noodles on the first floor were a really thoughtful touch. Plus, there were plenty of seats downstairs to relax and wait, which was fantastic.

The AC is terrible, even you turned up the temperature but not working. As told by front desk, the central supply of AC dominates all rooms adjustment. Thus we got cold on second day.  And the shower head also broken, the big rain head was loose and easy to fall down.

Clean environment, comfortable size There is also ice, temperature, hot water dispenser on the first floor, as well as biscuit snacks, tea bags, toast jam and fruit It's very rich. Unfortunately, the location is the closest to the mass transportation is Zuoying Railway Station. You need to take the MRT and transfer. And in the alley, driving a little to find There may be some years of wooden boards in the bed, and there will be sound when you get in and out of the bed.

Our family really enjoyed this hotel. The room was big spacious. However, the shower was really weird. It was really short so we had to take a bath and couldn’t shower properly. The shower was elevated and definitely could not fit anyone that was more than 4 ft 5”.  This is not a typo. The shower is meant for pretty much kids. If adults stand there, The water will spray everywhere all over the floor. The hotel was really excellent with their communications. We left something important at the hotel and they quickly reached out to us and is able to ship to our next hotel. The location is also unbeatable. Just across the street from the MRT and Kaohsiung station. The HSR station is 5 MRT stops away. We didn’t see many few options right next to the hotel and had to walk about 10 minutes to a local market.

Pros: The hotel is incredibly close to Kaohsiung Station, just a four or five-minute walk away. This is super convenient for anyone traveling without a car and relying primarily on public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, always enthusiastic to assist with any issues. Their service definitely enhanced the overall experience. Cons: The soundproofing is really poor. You can hear almost everything happening on the entire floor, whether it's from nearby rooms or further down the hall. It seemed like the guests at this hotel were quite late-nighters; people were still moving around, showering, and using the restroom well past midnight. This would be a problem for light sleepers. Also, there are quite a few rooms on each floor, but only one elevator. During peak hours, you might have to wait a little while. Overall Impression: Overall, my rating is still on the positive side. If I'm ever in Kaohsiung alone again and prioritize convenient transportation, I would definitely consider staying here again. Hotel brief: The ground floor has the reception area and a few sofas for lounging; the second floor houses the restaurant and hot spring area; and all floors from the third upwards are guest rooms, with bathroom facilities on each floor.

The hotel location is perfect for getting around, connecting to the Kaoshiung MRT, the local railway & the HSR @ Zuoying. Although the room is compact, the lounge is a great place to chill, have tea/coffee & ice cream that's complimentary. Each day we are even offered a complimentary beer, juice drink or Perrier mineral water. The facilities include free use of the washing machine & dryer. The staff from the reception to housekeeping, and breakfast staff are service oriented, helpful & courteous. The breakfast spread is generous & food is topped up when it runs low. Will certainly stay at Kindness Hotel again if ever I come to Kaoshiung.

The location is near the Wenwu Temple station of the light rail, requiring an additional 5-6 minute walk. This time, I stayed in a double room by myself, and the space was quite large for me, as well as clean and tidy. The room provided bottled water, and there was also a water dispenser available on each floor. The downside is that slippers were not provided. Because I had read the reviews beforehand, I brought my own disposable slippers to use.

The staff were friendly, and the location is convenient, about a 9-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. However, the facilities are very old, and there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up three to five flights of stairs.

The hotel is perfectly positioned in the Qianjin District, placing you within a short 10-minute walk of the lively Liuhe Night Market and the City Council MRT station. Guests can enjoy a convenient on-site breakfast or step outside to find iconic local eats like Dan Dan Burger and fresh seafood stalls right around the corner.
