Hostel well located near the Xiguan subway station and in the middle of the Dazhongxiang area, full of shops and eateries (and people in the evening 😁)
A night food market is a few hundred meters away, the bridge and yellow river a couple kms.
The beds are wide, the room is big and it doesn't feel stuffed at all. There's one bathroom/toilets, which may be challenging at times.
The owner can speak English and help you with any query you may have.

I don’t often leave reviews (indeed, after nearly 3 weeks in China this is my first). I just wanted to leave a review because of how much I enjoyed my short stay at this hostel. The owner is fluent in English and very friendly. I really enjoyed hanging out with him and learning about this city. The vibe of the hostel is relaxed and is a positive atmosphere. The location is fantastic as you’re very central being in a market and close to the bridge. The first hostel I’ve had in China (after 7 cities) where I met an owner like this. Highly recommend.

For the price & location, there is nothing better in Lanzhou. Near sights, night market food street, shopping center, close to city bus depot & subway. The owner is really friendly.

Excellent location, steps from everything. It's a bit difficult to find because it's in a building. The staff is very friendly and helpful in every way possible. The only complaint is that the bed is very hard and quite uncomfortable.

Came to Lanzhou for 2 days and searched for accommodation near Xiguan. After all, a youth hostel is just like a dormitory in college. But the difference is that the room is 8 people, the environment is OK, and the roommates are also very well-mannered.
The proprietress is very hardworking. She cleaned the sheets and pillowcases that were replaced by the previous guests. They are still clean🔥
