Location very good and close to the Gansu Museum. Room was fantastic and spacious. Check in took a really long time - as foreigners our passports confused the front desk.
The lifts were very, very slow and we needed to wait about five minutes every time we needed them... Be warned if you are running late!

I enjoyed staying in this Holiday Inn hotel. The staff are super supportive which equates to their exceptional service. The hotel is close to the subway station, busses and taxis. It's very clean and has a nice sunset view. This Holiday Inn at the heart of Lanzhou City comes highly recommended!!

First of all the hotel is in a great location, right next to Lanzhou centre (with direct access) near the gansu museum and gansu women and children's hospital. If that's not enough it's also close to the subway station.
The rooms were spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable in them, the morning breakfast had plenty of options and was satisfactory. My only issue with this hotel is the elevator wait times (although that's not an issue with the hotel itself rather the building) when going from the ground floor to the hotel rooms we would often wait a few.minutes for the lift, when it arrived people would push infront ensuring no more space.
When I left the hotel at 10 in the morning it took me over 20 minutes to just get an elevator with space to go down, i tried taking the stairs but the doors were locked.
Overall a good hotel i wouldn't stay again just because of the elevator, everything else is perfect.

The hotel has a great location. Check-in is on the fifth floor of Lanzhou Center Soho. The front desk upgraded the room for free. The room is clean and tidy overall. The room is large and well-lit. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. Xiao Guo at the hotel front desk is really nice. The water delivery is considerate. The breakfast is rich and worth recommending.

The room is very clean and well laid out. I decided to choose this hotel after reading online reviews. I chose Lanzhou as the last stop of my 12-day May Day holiday. It was also the most comfortable night I slept. The bedding is of high quality. People with mysophobia don't need to use their own sheets. The details are the most touching. The service staff are all sweet girls. Xiao Guo and Linda are so pretty. The service attitude is also super good, patient and meticulous. The location of the hotel is great. The National Museum is just a short walk away. There are many delicious foods, such as hand-pulled beef noodles and mutton skewers.
