We had a brief yet wonderful stay at Pacific Cebu Resort. The amenities were great, but the only downside was the absence of a lifeguard on duty by the poolside.

I stayed at Pacific Cebu Resort (Deluxe Room) and was really disappointed. Out of 3 pools, only 1 was working, and the beachside smelled like a septic tank. The place is poorly maintained—leaves everywhere, slippery stairs, and our room had no bath towels, a broken phone, and a strong laundry/fabric softener odor. No signal in the room (only WiFi), and breakfast was very average. For the price, it’s not worth it.

This is our second time spending our staycation. What I loved about this place are the trees, pool and beach. The architectural landscape is so relaxing. There are lots of pools. The views are instagrammable everywhere. You can go outside anytime you want without worries of the UV sun rays because of the shades from trees. There are lots of staffs served our needs including the interns and they did it excellently and politely.
I used to surprised my husband with a birthday cake in our breakfast buffet and the staffs accommodated my request to sing a "Happy birthday" song for him with a cake. To my gratefulness, we just took a little slice of a cake and gave the rest to the staffs. I went to many resorts in the Philippines and this is one of my favorite. I will definitely be back soon.

On the morning of August 18, I asked the front desk to call a taxi to the airport. The taxi went by meter and charged me an extra 100 pesos. I asked driver why? The driver said that was because the resort charged extra fees for taxis.
The odometer shows 374 pesos, I paid 474 pesos.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Hotel is next to a building site. You can hear loud construction noise EVERYWHERE in the resort so it is not a relaxing place to stay. I requested to move rooms as my room was right next to the construction site and the hotel wanted to charge more even though the whole hotel was unsatisfactory due to the noise. I cut my stay short due to this. Front desk staff had poor customer service. The hotel looks like prior to the construction it was very beautiful so it is a shame the noise completely ruins it. All the pools were very dirty too. Food is very overpriced and resort does not let you bring your own food or drinks in. Hotel is far from restaurants and shops too.
