Leiden Hotels with Bars

Great location near the central station of the beautiful city of Leiden. The hotel itself is well into the world-known standards of the Ibis brand; as always, an Ibis hotel is a safe bet for a comfortable night with reasonable prices. Extra points for all of the helpful and sympathetic people at the check-in counter! (The picture I added is actually the windows' view from my room, which was quite pleasant - even more so with the daylight in the morning)

Great hotel, next to train station. Very slow service in the reception both when checkin and luggage collection after check out. We almost missed our train because it took more than 20 min to collect our luggage...

Very close to Leiden Railway Station, very convenient, the hotel is relatively clean, there are many supermarkets around, there are many restaurants, about ten minutes to the center of Leiden, it is convenient to take the train to other cities.

Advantages: The room is clean and hygienic, the service staff takes out the trash and does simple cleaning every day; it is very close to Leiden Central Station, 3-5 minutes walk. There is AH to go in the train station and JUMBO and ALDI opposite, which is very convenient. The front desk speaks very good English and has a very good attitude. It happened to be New Year's Day, and the hotel also prepared candies and sweets like sugar cakes for guests at the front desk. Disadvantages: There is no heating, it will be a bit cold after taking a shower in winter; the water pressure of the shower is not enough, and the water of the shower is small; the lights are not bright enough, and the room is dark.

That day, the hotels in Rotterdam and Amsterdam were all booked, and I finally booked this one, and the price should have gone up. The location is rather off, it should be difficult to get there without driving. The service attitude is okay, it seems to be the hotel of a small football club. The location right on a pond is very good, breakfast is very good! Unfortunately, access to the rooms is a bit difficult, a seat and the baggage must be dragged over the stairs to the 1st or 2nd floor. Otherwise everything was OK.

Very nice hotel, excellent breakfast, cosy rooms, terras for the kids outside, parking facilities at 100 meters from the hotel, the city centre at the doorstep of the hotel, Leiden is a nice city to spend a week, go shopping or visit many of the countless museums.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly reception, would be perfect with a fridge added. Definitely recommended!
