In my opinion, fiction (official hotel description and official photos) and reality do not match up at this hotel. Good: The ladies at reception are always present, either at the reception desk or at the ashtray in front of the main entrance. Bad: Cigarette smoke wafts through the entrance area, the bar and the corridor with the hotel rooms on the ground floor of this non-smoking hotel. I found the hotel room 12x on the ground floor musty, but clean. An unbearable smell of "spill water" came from the shower drain. In addition to a (modern) TV, there was also an (old) refrigerator (the plug was unplugged) which was so loud for hours after being switched on that I had to switch it off again. Room cleaning for guests who stay longer than one night only takes place if they come to reception by 8:30 a.m. This is announced by a laminated note in the room referring to "environmental protection reasons". Despite calling at reception every day, the rooms were NOT cleaned. Every day, some reason was given as to why it was not possible. At the weekend, no one saw cleaning staff in the corridors. You can pick up a fresh towel or toilet paper yourself at reception. The hotel description is misleading: There is NO air conditioning in the rooms and no safe. The hotel (3 stars, according to the sign in the entrance area) does not have a restaurant (permanently closed?) I can at least confirm that there are indeed free parking spaces in the courtyard. In my opinion, the "Achat Messe Leipzig" hotel is run for "wear and tear", i.e. every last euro is taken. Summary/conclusion: I have never stayed in a hotel in the ACHAT group before and, based on my experience, I will never aspire to do so again.

Price today on Tripadvisor 80 euros, we paid 190 per night for an absolute rubbish hotel! Rooms stink of sewage, you can hardly turn around because they are so small, sometimes there is no fridge and otherwise it is so loud that you can't sleep. The bar is open 24 hours. On the first evening there was only one person there who was not authorized to serve drinks, on the second evening the lady wanted to take the cash register at half past ten and therefore didn't serve anything to the whole group. The beds are hard as boards and 140cm wide for two adults. We were there with a group of about 50 people. The hotel operators ripped us off with the horrendous price. My husband and I moved to the Westin and only paid 133 euros in the very nice hotel. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else!

Das Hotel befindet sich in ruhiger Lage etwas auswärts und man muss mit dem Auto in die Stadt fahren. Da wir mit dem Auto angereist sind muss ich aber zugeben, dass wir uns nicht über das Angebot der Öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel informiert haben. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gab eine große Auswahl, unter anderem einen Kaffeeautomaten, der viele Kaffee Spezialitäten zubereiten konnte und Rührei, Frikadellen und Würstchen. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, aber es fehlt an nichts. Was ich nicht ganz verstanden habe ist, dass man eine Mikrowelle im Zimmer hat, aber keinen Kühlschrank, ich hätte auch stattdessen lieber einen Wasserkocher gehabt, aber das würde ich nicht als Minuspunkt sehen. Die Sauberkeit war gut, aber ausbaufähig, es gibt viele schmale Flächen um das Bett herum die etwas staubig waren, aber für mich auch kein großer Minuspunkt. Es war viel Stauraum vorhanden und das Bett ist gut. Im Großen und Ganzen ein Hotel mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir waren in diesem Hotel untergebracht, zwecks Firmenfeier. Das Hotel ist durchschnittlich ausgestattet und schon etwas älter. Dies bekommt man vereinzelt bei der Zimmerausstattung mit oder vor allem im öffentlichen Bereich des Hotels. Die Flure sind sehr dunkel und abgewohnt. Dies ist allerdings kein Mangel, nur eine Anmerkung, das demnächst eine Renovierung anstehen könnte. Alles hat problemlos funktioniert, war nur etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal ist super nett und sehr kompetent. Die Zimmer erstklassig sauber.
