"The service is impeccable. Though I was surprised that the room was only half done by the time I checked in and open the door for the first time. I contacted front desk staff. Housekeeping came in 20min. He finished tidying up and send me a welcome plate of assorted sweets in half an hour as an apology. This delayed my plan a bit but I'm glad it's fixed. The room is spacious, warm, and up to its usual standard. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is tasty with enough to choose from. Will surely consider it again if I come Leipzig next time."

"A nostalgic old-style hotel with a good location, very close to Leipzig Central Station, 5 minutes drive from Leipzig Zoo, and opposite a shopping mall, it is very convenient for eating and shopping. The breakfast variety is not very large but the quality is not bad, all kinds of bread, cheese, German sausage, cereal, mainly Western breakfast, there is a Chinese dim sum every day (siomai, shrimp dumplings, vegetarian dumplings). The hotel's underground parking lot is easy to find, but the entrance and exit are narrow, requiring skills, and paid parking (25 euros per day)."

"The stay was unfortunately a complete disaster. The floor in the room was badly stained and looked unhygienic – completely unacceptable for a hotel. But it got even worse: during the night, part of the ceiling collapsed! This could have been extremely dangerous. I immediately reported the incident to reception, but received neither an apology nor any suggestion of a solution. Even after my written complaint, I still haven't received any response. No customer service, no sense of responsibility. A hotel that doesn't address such issues is absolutely not recommended. I will definitely not be returning – and I can only advise everyone to do their research beforehand."

"The room with a balcony and window overlooking the courtyard was small but very appealing. The location is a bit outside the center, but there are good transport links. We arrived by car, but unfortunately, contrary to the website, there was no parking on the street. Thankfully, we were able to find a spot for an extra €5.00 in a separate, gated lot about 400 meters away. We gladly accepted this offer. Without it, we really wouldn't have known where to park our car. This should be clearly stated on the hotel's website. Otherwise, everything was fine. We would gladly stay again."

"The hotel is very well situated and fantastic bar upstairs we didn’t use the breakfast place, but it’s looked very good. The air-conditioning is very good. It’s one of the few hotels in fact the only hotel in Germany that we stayed at that had a good air conditioning. There’s a parking at the hotel but we use the one in the central Plaza and that cost €20 a night. Everything was comfortable it’s a hotel. I would recommend."

"This hotel is very very centrally located and with air conditioners in the room! It is just few minutes walk to most of the scenic points. We were there during the heat wave when the temperature was like 40 degree celcius so we were able to get back to the hotel to cool down and take rest and went out again whenever we wished. Service is top notch compared to most German hotels and staff speak fluent English. We also had dinner at the restaurant which turned out to be the best food we have during the 3 week German trip."

"The hotel is about 15 minutes (by tram) from the main train station on a street a little away from the city center. When we arrived at around 11.30 p.m., we were a little disappointed that an international hotel in the Dorint chain no longer serves drinks at the bar, but only has a minimal selection from the reception fridge. In comparatively much smaller hotels, we have often found that the reception is able to serve drinks at the bar. The room was clean and tidy. The furnishings are from the 90s."

Considering the hotel only opened in 2018, it's already quite run down. Our room was generally okay, but the blackout curtain was stained, which was disgusting. This was our third stay at the NH Hotel Leipzig City, but we felt that the breakfast used to be better (more varied). Check-out was very easy."

"The hotel has air conditioning with plenty of power. The WiFi is fast, but there's no refrigerator. The room is spacious, with two double beds, sleeping four. The bathroom is only partially enclosed by glass, so showering easily wets the floor. The bed is very comfortable. The room is furnished in an old-fashioned style, with traditional tables, chairs, and a TV stand, but it doesn't feel dated. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, across from a shopping mall with numerous shops and restaurants, and close to tourist attractions. CNN and BBC programs are available on the TV."

First, there are three hotels of the same brand in the city center, and second, the Blue hotel I booked is in a building on the pedestrian street, without its own You need to go to a public paid parking lot a few hundred meters away to park. Friends who drive here should remember to reserve a parking space with the hotel in advance, otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the contract price (a difference of 5 Euros per night)."

"The reception was friendly but rather unprofessional. The room was okay, but not worth the price. The shower gel dispenser was empty. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the pillows felt like cheap ones. It was very noisy at night facing the street, and we had to close the window. The tram connection was excellent! The stop was right in front of the hotel, and it was only one stop to the main train station. Breakfast was good; there was something for everyone, and the breakfast room was bright and welcoming. In conclusion: the hotel was okay, but we found it too expensive compared to other hotels."
