Geqingchuang Homestay

The original plan was just to take a quick look, but unexpectedly this trip to Getou Village turned out to be an unforgettable journey. It was almost three in the afternoon when I arrived at the village and I was already starving. I had not been able to find food in the several villages I had visited before. Just when I was about to give up, I happened to pass by the Geqingchuang B&B at the entrance of Getou Village. I walked in with the mentality of giving it a try, but unexpectedly I had the warmest encounter of this trip. Seeing a few young people sitting around eating hotpot, I couldn't help but ask shamelessly. It turned out that they were the boss, A Xi, and a few guests who had just returned from playing. When he saw us come in, Ah Xi not only did not hesitate at all, but enthusiastically invited us to join him. At that moment, I felt a warm feeling in my heart. Perhaps this is the real experience of a homestay - not just accommodation, but a sense of belonging that is integrated into the lives of local people. In the afternoon, A Xi also took us to climb Leigong Mountain. Experiencing this mysterious mountain from a local's perspective completely overturned my original understanding. I originally thought it was just an ordinary hiking trip, but I found that the beauty and tranquility of Leigong Mountain can only be truly discovered under A Xi's guidance. I originally wanted to stay for only half an hour, but finally decided to stay overnight. It’s not because of time pressure, but because I’m reluctant to leave this real paradise, and I’m even more reluctant to leave the warmth of Geqingchuang. Getou Village is definitely worth a visit; Geqingchuang B&B is even more worth staying in! Although the road in the village may be a little tortuous, this experience of returning to nature and the warmth brought by A Xi and his team make me feel that it is all worth it. I will definitely be back!

The natural environment of Getou is very good. There is a big tree I like very much - the King of Bald Fir. You can also hike to the Bald Mountain Group to find other fir trees and see many animals and plants. In the recent autumn, you can pick a lot of wild fruits, including walnuts, chestnuts, wild lychees, ground twisters, and many berries... If it's cool, you can also go creek trekking and play in the water. The water passing through the village living area is very clear... You can see the whole picture of the village by climbing up the terraced fields... Uncle Da and Ah Xi are very warm and easy-going. I experienced playing the reed pipe and dancing the reed pipe. It was very cold on the first day and the air conditioning heating effect was not good, so they provided a barbecue stove and later replaced it with a new air conditioner. They also helped to contact the car to go to Queniao and return to Kaili. They also introduced a lot to us when we took their car. We also went to see the chicken farm and fish pond on the mountain. The forest behind the chicken farm is mottled with light and shadow, and many wild lilies are planted. It will definitely look good when it blooms... There were a lot of passengers during the National Day holiday, and they were too busy. I changed the garbage in the room by myself, and I took the things myself if I lost them. If there aren't too many people, you can take them to hike on more remote routes. The sweet potatoes for breakfast are delicious. The kitchen is too busy with too many people, so we went to other houses in the village for dinner. I haven't tasted the flavors of Geqingchuang's stir-fried vegetables, sour soup, and stewed chicken yet.

因為小盆友非常喜歡泳遊池，跟老闆協商升換了房間。他們家聯排，雙拼，複式木屋非常適合休閑度假，很有調性，房間設施新，也完備，有小冰箱，就是沒有電視。衞生間是日式集合整體衞生間，熱水也很好。就是木地板，走起有點響，這個是木屋的通病。就餐也很方便，前台後邊就是廚房，四季豆炒肉，臘肉，小菜豆腐湯，炒土豆絲都非常好吃，基本頓頓都掃光。格頭的經典景禿杉樹羣與歐間瀑布一定要找老闆問清楚線路，不要像我一樣，差點點，因為村裡的標識做得太差。
