This hotel is a little gem in Lhasa. First of all, it’s got a lift, which is a must at high altitude. They offered us free breakfast for the first night, but when we requested breakfast for the next two nights (paying), they actually offered it for free as well. The breakfast room has amazing views of the Potala palace.
The beds are very comfortable. There is a large coffee table, a large leather stool and an armchair by the window. And that window has another stunning view over the palace (if you’re on the 5th floor). The bathroom has everything you need, including shower flip flops (although we brought and used our own pair). Toiletries were good too. There were also slippers for the room.
Another nice touch was that they would bring a fruit platter to the room every evening at 19:00. This included jujube, cherry tomatoes, clementines and pears. All brilliantly sweet.
The hotel is very close to the big attractions in Lhasa, including the aforementioned Potala palace, Jokhang monastery and Barkor Street.
And most importantly, they had oxygen in the bedroom. A must have!
Finally, the staff is very helpful. They helped us book a takeaway for dinner on our first night and organised the free breakfasts the next day.

The service is the worst of all hotels where we have stayed worldwide. It is worse than even any 1-star rated hotel in China. Right from the entry, the check in is chaotic. No one attends to luggage. It takes 2 hours to do formalities and return passports. In Room dining, the order is a huge challenge. They take 2 hours to take order and deliver the food after 1 hour, when they serve only the food in a plate. No seperate dishes or any cutliaries (spoon or fork or chopsticks ... nothing provided). When you point these out, they say sorry and take another 1 hour to bring plates, chop sticks etc. BY now 5 hours passed and food is so cold and not eatable. This is a regular scenario ... repeated 3 times, I.e. everything we placed an order. It's a huge challenge.
On amenities, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. If you just take a turn while sleeping, the other person is sure to wake up. They call king size bed .. it's two seperate beds kept side by side with cheap quality spring mattress.
On breakfast, it's very limited and every day same menu. No varieties, the food taste is horrible as well. Extremely bad experience.for the price that is paid. The feeling has been a complete waste of money, sleepless nights, staying hugry and waiting for food post order for 5.hours every time we ordered room dining. The same situation in restaurent as well.

The experience of staying in this hotel is amazing! As soon as I entered the door, the front desk staff was enthusiastic and professional, the check-in procedure was quick, and they also introduced the surrounding fun places. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was very warm, the bedding was comfortable, and I had a super good sleep. The location is also great, there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and it is convenient to travel. I will choose this place next time I travel!

This is by a long way the best hotel I have stayed in , in Tibet. Love the ”Manor” feel, at the same time homely.
The rose garden which decorates Lakari cafe ia a lovely place to eat, relax, wind down. Food & service excellent. There are in addition two other restaurant on site, serving authentic Chinese & Tibetian food, yum. DURING a qord in the garden, I notice birds churping and hunting worms on the lawn !
Rooms takes on a modern Tibetian style, everything works & impeccably clean.
Staff are v warm, helpful, even helped w my washing, offered to show me around on her day off.
A most enjoyable stay. Tops all otherss I have stayed in Tibet.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel I must write one this time. Gesanghua Hotel has a beautiful and kind proprietress. She is quite young, thoughtful, warm and patient. We just arrived in Lhasa and were not very familiar with the itinerary. Later, we consulted the proprietress to avoid falling into the trap. You can also ask the proprietress to help buy performance tickets and travel packages. There are many discounts after comparison. I am also very satisfied with the arranged room. It is square, clean, with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator, and air conditioner. Every morning, the bright sunshine will shine into the room, making the cool morning warm all of a sudden. Living in a sunny room makes my altitude sickness much better.
The location of the hotel is also very good👍 It is convenient to go out for transportation. It takes a few minutes to walk to Jokhang City, Barkhor Street, and Jokhang Temple. It only takes 10 yuan to take Didi to the Potala Palace.
Warm service, clean room, convenient transportation, we will definitely stay in Gesanghua again next time.

This is my sixth time in Lhasa. I compared several hotels before coming here and chose this hotel based on cost performance and comfort. The hotel did not disappoint me.
First of all, the hotel is in a great location, just across the road from the park behind the Potala Palace. You can see the Potala Palace from the room, and it's only a 10-minute walk away.
The hotel has its own parking lot, which makes parking convenient.
When you walk into the hotel lobby, there are free hot drinks of Rhodiola rosea and ginger tea. After drinking two cups, all the hardships you have experienced along the way to 318 are melted away.
Bai Ma, the receptionist, speaks softly and has a warm attitude. To be honest, the overall service industry in Lhasa is now at a higher level than that in the mainland.
Butlers will deliver guests and luggage to their rooms, and provide complimentary sweet tea and steam eye masks.
The room is equipped with floor heating, oxygen and humidifier, ensuring that tourists from all over the world can feel right at home. The window faces the back of the Potala Palace.
The breakfast in the observation restaurant on the 4th floor is rich and varied, with both meat and vegetarian options, and very little onion, ginger and garlic, taking into account the habits of each guest.

This is a very Tibetan-style hotel, clean, tidy, peaceful and prosperous, and it’s easy to get there.
It's close to Barkhor Street and it was a very good experience. We stayed in the hotel for 3 days.
The boss and staff are also very nice. They helped us carry our big luggage to the 3rd floor. Thank you boss.

The first hotel I stayed in Lhasa after entering Tibet. I had booked and changed the booking before, and finally chose this one. As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, the security guard quickly came to take my luggage. Because I had severe altitude sickness when I arrived in Lhasa by train that afternoon, I went to the hospital for oxygen before going to the hotel, so someone helped me with my luggage. I am very grateful. The hotel’s housekeeper Xiao Pu also helped me with my luggage and delivered it to the room. He was very patient and detailed about the hotel’s free laundry service, oxygen supply, etc. The hotel is very clean and provides disposable bath towels, disposable towels, toilet covers, etc. every day. The clean clothes are returned the next day. After the room is cleaned, the supplies will be replenished in time. There is a humidifier in the room. The room is also quite large and quiet. A piece of fruit is provided every day. It is very considerate. If I have the opportunity to come again, I will choose this hotel again

Arriving at the first stop in Tibet, I originally booked only one day because I didn't plan the trip in advance. I was really surprised after checking in. The facilities are complete, the rooms are very clean and tidy, and there are terraces on the third and fourth floors, where you can see the snow-capped mountains and the Potala Palace. The breakfast is said to be prepared by a Nepalese lady. It is very rich and full. Haha. Then I stayed for three consecutive nights. Every staff member was very warm and thoughtful. Because we had a little altitude sickness, they also provided us with medicine. They also gave us souvenirs before departure. We talked a lot about free time. One sister also showed us the vegetables she grew on the balcony, as well as strawberries. Haha, you can see that they are all people who love life. I am really happy to meet them. Maybe this is the meaning of travel. The trip to Tibet was finally achieved, but this time the time was limited and there was no advance planning. There were many places that I didn't have the opportunity to go. I will definitely come again next time~~~~

I was so lucky to find this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the layout was warm and comfortable. It was a pleasant and leisurely stay. Especially on the terrace, you can see the Potala Palace and the mountains in the distance. The shock is beyond words. In the early morning or evening, watching the Potala Palace show different styles in the changing light and shadow, I feel that my soul has been cleansed. This accommodation experience is great. I will stay here again next time I come to Lhasa!

GGuest UserTrip.com I found it online, the advantages: new, convenient to eat around, not far behind the Potala Palace, the room is large and clean, real oxygen, each room is equipped with a clean washing machine, the proprietress is warm and hospitable, the breakfast is also varied, and there is a feeling of home. The only downside is that there is still a little decoration taste. Would recommend friends!

At the same time the suggestion me to go one hot spring which to me is an unforgettable memory.
Before I left, they gave me gift (unscented sticks & post card is totally out of my expectation. Helping me to carry my luggage’s are completely 5 stars hotel experience….hehe….🥰
I felt the whole hospitality is so wonderful & unforgettable to be.
So grateful for the owners & met beautiful people there too. 🙏🌹🥰

GGuest UserI have stayed in many hotels in Lhasa, and the most heartwarming one is Lan Ou Shangpin. The greetings and smiles of the staff are heartwarming. The room facilities are complete, clean and hygienic. The most surprising thing is that the buffet breakfast is rich and delicious. I rarely eat vegetables in Lhasa before, but the hotel cooks different dishes every day. So I stayed for five consecutive days. There were small gifts and lucky bags when I checked in, and fruit biscuits were given to me on the way when I left the hotel. I was really touched. Next time I come to Lhasa, this is my first choice.

GGuest UserTraveling alone, the price of single beds in Shanye B&B is really high!
Don't worry about safety issues, you can also meet friends from all over the world ~
The location is excellent, and it is very convenient to play for two days after landing in Lhasa. It is very close to the White Tower of the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple on Barkhor Street. It can be reached on foot for a while. It is also very convenient to take a bus or take a taxi. You can see the night view before going to bed. There is a food street not far downstairs, and you can also eat or have supper ~
The store environment design is simple, high-end beauty, complete facilities, warm and thoughtful service, the store lady and the little brother will listen carefully to the needs, provide items in detail, and the cute kitten will provide companionship, which is very good.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and the front desk service was very good. I really appreciate the recommendation of my friend. I have been preparing to book here in the future. My object is happy, and no one hears it every time I call it big. Sound insulation is really good.

GGuest UserI seldom comment on hotels. I was really touched by the service provided by every staff member of the hotel. When I first arrived in Lhasa, they had an oxygen concentrator for me to breathe oxygen for 2 hours, which relieved my altitude sickness. The hotel has been renovated and is not too old. The breakfast has more than 30 varieties, and it is a standard 4-star hotel, quite satisfactory, with a ******* cultural a**osphere, which is not bad. Here comes the point. It is a 5-minute walk from Zhaxi Temple. The hotel has a parking lot, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the stay is comfortable. If you like to worship the God of Wealth or drive yourself, I personally recommend Minshan National Hotel.
GGuest UserThe room facilities are perfect, there are oxygen generators, washing machines, humidifiers, and the mattresses are latex and very quiet. However, the bathroom drainage pipe was slightly flawed. I took a shower in the morning and washed my clothes at night. I complained that my voice was noisy to TAs next door and downstairs. There is a Tibetan tea house on the first floor of the hotel, which is equivalent to a simple restaurant. The price is affordable and the taste is not bad. The locals also like to eat here. It is convenient to eat, but the front desk does not allow takeaways to the room, so you have to go downstairs to pick up the courier. The boss is very good, the uncle and several Zhuoma are very warm and thoughtful, I hope to get better and better ~
