Lawei International Hotel Potala Palace ★★★★
"The hotel's decor is quite luxurious, and the service attitude is also good. I'll definitely stay here again next time, it's truly fantastic!"
ChunQiu Oxygen-Rich Hotel ★★★★
"Choosing the Spring and Autumn Oxygen Hotel for my Lhasa trip was definitely the right decision; the overall experience completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent central location, just a 10-minute walk from Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. This means no long commutes for sightseeing and pilgrimages. The surrounding area is packed with ******* restaurants and outdoor shops, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel's overall atmosphere is tranquil and elegant, offering a peaceful escape amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The guest rooms are spacious and airy, featuring wooden floors and minimalist ******* soft furnishings that create a warm and relaxing ambiance. The amenities are comprehensive: all rooms have 24-hour diffused oxygen supply and humidifiers with adjustable oxygen flow. They even thoughtfully provide nasal cannulas and oximeters, perfectly addressing the challenges of high-altitude hypoxia and dryness. The bathroom is designed with a wet/dry separation, offering stable hot water all day. Tea sets, charging facilities, and high-quality toiletries are also fully equipped, showing great attention to detail. Cleanliness is absolutely impeccable. Guest rooms, hallways, and public areas are meticulously cleaned at regular intervals daily. The bedding is soft and odor-free, and there's no dust or stains on surfaces or corners; the bathroom is dry and spotless. From its prime location and comfortable living environment to its complete amenities and strict cleaning protocols, every aspect provides peace of mind. It's perfectly suitable for both solo travelers and those traveling with companions. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lhasa."
Lhasa Potala Palace Yishan Hotel ★★★★
"After looking at many hotels, I finally settled on this one. Its location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple, and Potala Palace. Plus, the Thai restaurant on the 6th floor has really authentic food with great views. You can even spot the famous Xia Lam restaurant across the street. I was so impressed that I chose to stay here again after spending 4 days in Nyingchi. That just shows how much I approve of this hotel! The butler service was also excellent."
Susheng Guizang Manor Hotel ★★★★
"The service at this hotel truly lives up to its reputation. Right after landing, hotel staff were already there to pick me up from the airport. Every detail, from check-in to check-out, was meticulously taken care of. The surroundings are beautiful, the breakfast spread is generous, and the facilities are comprehensive. The courtyard now feels much more vibrant and inviting than before, featuring a container-style outdoor cafe and evening courtyard BBQs. What's more, they offer complimentary 24-hour oxygen supply, which significantly reduces the risk of altitude sickness."
Lobbum Tsang Boutique Hotel ★★★
"The amenities are very comprehensive, including an oxygen concentrator, humidifier, electric kettle, and hairdryer. The staff even proactively sent instructions for the oxygen concentrator. The service attitude was excellent; we were offered a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf) and hot milk tea upon arrival. The room decor has a lovely ethnic style. What I particularly loved was the bathroom – it's spacious, very bright, features a wet/dry separation, and even has a magnifying mirror! I'm very satisfied 🥰 There's a restaurant upstairs with fantastic views, perfect for enjoying a meal while admiring the distant mountains. My only regret is not having enough time to try the Nepalese cuisine. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time."
Thangka Hotel ★★★★
"Satisfactory aspects: The room was nice and had ethnic characteristics; the hotel's location was excellent (we had a travel companion with mobility issues); the service and communication were very satisfactory (there was a third-party system error with another platform regarding room extensions, but the front desk staff were very patient in communicating with them, and the receptionist, Yangji, provided excellent service; the overall service quality was also very good); the breakfast was delicious and we were very satisfied; the room cleaning was also satisfactory. -- The only unsatisfactory aspect was: the toothbrush bristles were shedding. After rinsing my mouth, 5 or 6 bristles got stuck between my teeth, and I had to stop and pull them out while rinsing. (Bringing your own toothbrush solved this problem.) -- Suggestion: If possible, if the hotel renovates again, it could add features catering to younger travelers (such as self-service laundry and a self-service bar). -- There are attractions downstairs, and you can walk to Namased Restaurant. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get around. The attached pictures show nearby attractions and restaurants."
Lhasa Potala Palace Square Jiangsu Road Atour Hotel ★★★★
"Pros: First time visiting Lhasa, and the room facilities are brand new. The diffused oxygen system is a great touch, and the view is absolutely fantastic – you can gaze at the Potala Palace right from your bed. The parking lot is huge, and you can access Barkhor Street directly from the back door by just swiping your room key. Areas for improvement: The WeChat contact for the butler service, which comes with the room key, was very slow to respond after I added them. It might be handled by the front desk, but if they want to promote a butler service, I’d suggest having dedicated staff for it."
Chao Ye Rich Oxygen Observation Hotel (Lhasa Potala Palace) ★★★
"You can view the view. There are also many free drinks. Of course, you can also pay for other special drinks. The overall appearance of the hotel does not make people feel amazing at a glance, but it is absolutely treasure. The decoration inside has a combination of Tibetan and modern styles. The supporting facilities are particularly good. The whole house is oxygen, humidified, this must be available in Lhasa, the location is excellent, not far from the nearby attractions, there is a parking place at the entrance of the hotel, the front desk lady will also help find a location to park. Our family of three lived very comfortably, especially with children who wanted to live clean and tidy. Originally, there were a lot of luggage supplies for children. I really didn't plan to bring any disposable bedding, so I chose the hotel very carefully. I looked at it and looked at it. It seems that my choice is correct. , Finally, let's say a point! Some rooms lie on the bed and wake up and open the curtains to see the Potala Palace, and there is a night view of the Potala Palace on the top of the hotel building, which is better than the night view seen in the Potala Palace Square."
Holiday Inn Express LHASA POTALA PALACE by IHG ★★★★
"The room was good but breakfast was too Chinese oriented. I expected an international one"

The St. Regis Lhasa Resort
"Huge thanks to Riri, the 21-hour butler, for the excellent service! 😊 The hotel environment is great, clean, and the staff are all very professional. Someone greeted us as soon as we arrived and helped with our luggage to the hotel. When we left, there was also someone specifically to help us with our bags. I totally forgot to tip, but I'll definitely remember to next time I stay! 😘 Thanks, Riri!"
Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa
"Ashley is very nice and considerable. Helped us alot during stay. The hotel is fantastic. Sure will come back."
Nyetsang Grand Hotel
"The hardware environment and decoration are really good, and the breakfast is also decent. It is worthy of an old five-star hotel. The front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room type, and the accommodation experience was okay. Although the location is far away from the Potala Palace, it is still very convenient to take a taxi. It is close to large supermarkets, hotels, nightlife areas and hospitals, and the surrounding citywalk is quite comfortable."
Arro Khampa Lhasa
"As a Black Diamond member, I can say responsibly that Arokhampa really amazed me, especially in Lhasa, it is top-notch for many reasons. First of all, the decoration and layout of the hotel are very attentive, very local and fashionable. At the same time, all facilities are very convenient, and the rooms are fully equipped. The feeding devices make altitude sickness no longer scary. The hotel staff are very sincere, especially the housekeeper Yeshi. My family and I went on this trip, and my family members were a little unwell. Yeshi's meticulous care made us feel very cordial. Although there are not many types of breakfast, the taste is very good, especially the rice noodles, which I never get tired of. I used to stay at St. Regis when I came to Lhasa, and I will only choose Arokhampa if I come again. I heard that the hotel is still undergoing supporting upgrades. Such a new hotel is still working hard to upgrade and improve, and the boss has a big vision. In a word, Arokhampa must be chosen when you come to Lhasa."
Atour Hotel, Yukuo Pedestrian Street, Potala Palace Square, Lhasa
"I really have to praise this hotel. It goes without saying that it's clean and hygienic, and oxygen is supplied daily from 5 PM to 9 AM. The staff are incredibly nice. I arrived on the first day of the ******* calendar, and they gave me very detailed and patient explanations and tips for queuing at Jokhang Temple. I'll definitely be back next time. Thank you!"
Home2 Suites by Hilton Lhasa Museum
"The room facilities are quite comprehensive, and the environment is also great. The service, in particular, is excellent. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and helped me receive my express delivery and carry my luggage. Any room service I needed was delivered promptly. They even provide diffused oxygen in the room at 8 PM, and nasal oxygen is also available. The hotel lobby offers various teas, including saffron tea and hot drinks to help with altitude sickness."
Lhasa Snow Paradise International Hotel (Potala Palace)
"They even sent a fruit platter, and the service was excellent! I chose this hotel for my business trip because it's incredibly convenient, close to both the commercial district and attractions. The room was quiet, perfect for working or relaxing. The cleanliness and service were top-notch, making it my first choice for business travel."
Atour Hotel Lhasa the Potala Palace Plaza Beijing Middle Road
"The room was spacious, but the soundproofing wasn't great. We were able to get a late check-out, which was a plus. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the laundry facilities were convenient. There's an underground parking lot, but it doesn't lead directly to the front desk; you have to go up to the first floor and walk around a bit. The parking facilities also seemed a bit old."
Lhasa Reziba Hotel
"The hotel is very close to Jokhang Temple, just a few minutes' walk away. The service was also great, the owner was very welcoming and even offered us oxygen proactively. The only downside is that after getting off the taxi on the main road, there's still a bit of a walk to reach the hotel."
Lhasa Fanlian Hotel
"What a pleasant surprise to stay at Hotel Fanlian in Lhasa! The overall design is elegant and stylish, perfectly blending ******* aesthetics with modern simplicity. The service is warm and attentive, making the check-in experience feel very special. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the oxygen supply system is a thoughtful touch to alleviate altitude sickness. The courtyard view is absolutely stunning; every photo you take looks amazing. It's suitable for both traveling with companions or solo trips. Highly recommended!"
Puxin Fuyang · Scenic Homestay (Lhasa Potala Palace Barkhor Street)
"Hotel location is convenient, service is good, facilities are general"
Danzhe Linshe Fuyang Hotel
"Very nice"
Gesang Huaxiang Xiangfen Hotel(the Potala Palace Baguo Street Store)
"Have Lhasa hotel prices gone down? The hotel we stayed at was really affordable. Even though it's not on a main street and parking is tight with limited spots, we felt very comfortable and safe. During the day, we'd go sightseeing; bus route 24 right outside takes you directly to Zaki Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery. The owners are friendly, always giving us an extra one or two bottles of water in addition to the standard two. They also have a great driver who helped us park perfectly. We stayed for three days, and it's quite close to Jokhang Temple Square."
Home2 Suites by Hilton Hotel (Lhasa Municipal Government)
"The facilities are complete. The lobby has a ******* style, and as soon as I walked in, the front desk helped me with my luggage. They also offered us their special 'Xueju Xueshe' (snow residence/society) to help alleviate altitude sickness, which was really effective. I'll definitely stay here again next time. I stayed for several days this time, and they even upgraded my room. The breakfast was delicious, and there's free parking downstairs. Environment: Good Service: Good"
Lhasa Yuanqi Inn (Jokhang Temple Branch)
"The hotel is very clean and the boss is a special soldier who has left the army and told us the story of the army. The hotel is clean and the room is very comfortable. The sun is very good every day. Very good. Very good Tangka type hotel is highly recommended."
Orange Hotel (Lhasa Jokhang Temple Barkhor Street Hotel)
"The hotel's environment and facilities are great, with 24-hour oxygen supply and nasal oxygen available. Breakfast is good. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Barkhor Street, which is a bit far on foot. Also, there's one staff member who frequently forgets tasks and needs more training. However, overall, the Orange Hotel is excellent and I highly recommend staying here!"
