Had a fantastic stay in Lhasa! The room was very comfortable, and I slept incredibly well despite the high altitude. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend this hotel!

The quality of Shangri-La Hotel is consistently reliable. They did their best to arrange an early check-in for us, allowing us to rest, even though the facilities are a bit older compared to newer hotels. However, the quality hasn't diminished. In particular, the oxygen generator in each room is a huge help for those experiencing altitude sickness. Special thanks to Xiao Zuo at the front desk for her warm service. Shangri-La will still be my top choice next time I visit Lhasa.

The room facilities were quite good, but the service attitude was very poor, which significantly lowered the overall experience. Pros: The room facilities were relatively new, with a desk and office chair, a small sofa, and convenient amenities like a microwave. Aside from a tear in the carpet, the cleanliness was acceptable. The breakfast offered a good variety, though it was quite crowded. Cons: While one can't expect too much service at this price point and positioning, it's arguably the worst service in its class! Even budget-friendly chains like HUAZHU (Huazhu Group) feel lightyears ahead. Several points of dissatisfaction: Upon check-in, there was a queue, and three people behind the counter seemed to be struggling with something. I waited behind them for a while, and no one acknowledged a new guest had arrived or came over to help. After a long time, I saw someone move to the side, so I approached. Still, no one asked if I was checking in. I walked over and asked if the previous guest was finished, and only then, after being given a look that said 'What are you doing here?', did they start processing my check-in. After taking my ID, they immediately moved to a separate counter (a clearly distinct spot) without telling me to move there. I had to awkwardly move myself. They only provided basic breakfast times for my check-in information and didn't mention anything about the complimentary drinks included in my reservation, which I didn't need anyway so I didn't ask later. The window of my room faced a fence with cigarette butts and other trash scattered below. It was arguably worse than the interior of the room, but it was a basic room type, and a view wasn't a selling point, so I didn't pay too much attention. During check-out, after returning the room card, it took a moment to confirm. No one said 'please wait' or anything, so I just awkwardly stood there. As I left, I said 'thank you,' and was ignored without even a glance. It's clear that the staff here has almost no service awareness. Perhaps this hotel is very confident in its hardware and brand power and isn't too concerned about customer feelings and feedback. However, as a traveler, especially as the last hotel on a self-driving trip along the Sichuan-Tibet highway, it was very disappointing. Almost every other hotel on this trip, expensive or cheap, despite some flaws, had a far better service attitude than this one.

This time I came to Lhasa to stay, I was particularly impressed by the hotel's hygiene and linen. The room was cleaned very cleanly as a whole, the ground, tabletop, and bathroom were not dusty, the corners were also cleaned in place, the bathroom was dry and smellless, and the living was very safe. The quality of the linen is satisfactory. The sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases are soft and skin-friendly. They look clean and flat, without yellowing and stains. At first glance, they are changed for each guest. The quilt is moderately thick, it is very comfortable to sleep at night in Lhasa, the pillows are soft and hard, and the rest is very good. The towel bath towel has a good texture, clean and dry, no smell, and it is safe to use. The hotel takes into account the characteristics of the plateau, and the room is fully equipped with oxygen to relieve the discomfort of the first time to the plateau. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the procedures are efficient, and the problems can be responded in time. The hotel is quiet, the night rest is not disturbed, and the travel is very convenient. The overall environmental sanitation or linen quality is worthy of recognition, and the details are very careful. It is very suitable for travelers who value the cleanliness of the accommodation when going out, cost-effective, highly recommended, and will choose here next time you come to Lhasa.

I like the taste style very much. The three-person room is large, the bedding is white, comfortable and soft, and sleeps at night! There are two diffuse oxygen generators in the room, which can also be sucked. The indoor wardrobe is convenient for storage and the bathrobe is clean and tidy. The TV design is unique, the reading desk design is novel, the tea set on the tea table is very tasteful, the owner is interested! The bathroom is spacious, bright and comfortable, and the dry and wet areas are designed to be separated easily. There are also drying racks. Breakfast is 7.30-9:30, self-service, eggs, preserved egg porridge, miscellaneous grains, cold dishes, enough to eat. Go early~ The yard is square and convenient for parking. Love the multi-functional room on the third floor, suitable for chatting, gatherings, drinking tea. Love the green plants and the meaty people in the sun! The laundry room and dryer are also on the third floor. After washing the clothes, they are dried directly on the balcony on the third floor. They will be dried soon! Recommend you to come, the price is very good! Located near the Tibet Museum, more than 2 kilometers away from Barkhor Street, the surrounding is not so messy and noisy. The hotel is not far from the Potala Palace. The parking lot is large, there's a night market nearby, and a large supermarket is right next door, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, check-in was quick, and they even proactively upgraded my room. They patiently answered all my questions about local sightseeing. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corner of the bathroom was spotless. The room wasn't facing the street, so it was very quiet. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet! Highly recommended!

After the 5-day, 4-night trip to Mount Everest, I chose to stay at Wanda Yaduo for the last night. I exchanged my points for breakfast for two (my bestie went to eat, but I didn't get up to eat). When I checked in, I was upgraded to a room with a window that could directly see the Potala Palace across the street. Except for the slow check-in time in the lobby, which took about 20-30 minutes, I was very satisfied with everything else. It costs less than 30 yuan to take a taxi from here to the Potala Palace.

It is a very good hotel in Lhasa, but the daily service is really not good. The order is for three days, and the room fee is prepaid, but the room card is only given for one day. I was very tired after playing outside in the evening of the first day, and I had to go to the service desk again to handle the procedures. What a hell! The faucet in the room has no bubbler, and the water flow is divergent when used; the shower head is full of scale, and many holes cannot discharge water, and the water flow rate of the water outlet holes is very fast, which is very uncomfortable on the body. In fact, just scrape the small silicone outlet, and you can only do it yourself. It is called a VIP building, but we are obviously not VIPs. Maybe there is a reception task. There is a parking space next to the entrance of the VIP building, but it is not allowed to park, and it would rather be empty all day. Alas, it is obvious that we asked for trouble when booking the room. The decoration of the whole building is still very luxurious. The room is quite large, the hygiene is still OK, and the oxygen supply service is real. The breakfast is quite good, with rich varieties, many local characteristics, and the dining service is quite good.
