It reflects the characteristics of ******* style everywhere, with bright and bold colors. The bathroom walls and floors are all paved with black stones, and the walls are irregularly inlaid with turquoise. and other gems, beads in various niches high on the four walls, various thangkas in the lobby, steep wooden stairs, and the Potala Palace can be seen from the rooftop... I really like it so much, I really want to go from there. Pick out some gems from the wall. GGuest UserThis was one of the most satisfying hotels on our Tibet trip. The entire place had a very distinct and local character. When they found out we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a room with a terrace and a bathtub. Our butler, Tsering Dhondup, brought our luggage to the room and gave us a very detailed and thoughtful explanation of everything. He also set up a group chat, and his responses were always prompt. The hotel owner has excellent personal taste; guests receive a complimentary hat and a collection of Tsangyang Gyatso's poems. The mini-bar and snacks are restocked daily, and a 'goodnight drink' is provided every evening. We went out sightseeing on the night we checked in, and were pleasantly surprised the next morning to find that they had even set up a table and chairs on the terrace. The hotel offers a wide range of activities from morning till night. We participated in a sound bath session, which was a unique experience. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lhasa.

Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

The airport pickup service was punctual and attentive. The driver was calm and professional, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. Throughout our trip, the hotel arranged a dedicated driver to take us to Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. The routes were well-planned, the driving was steady, and he waited patiently, allowing us to easily visit these sacred sites without any worries.
I must give special praise to our butler, Zhixi. His service was incredibly meticulous and he anticipated our every need. From guiding us during check-in and offering itinerary suggestions to providing tips for high altitude, he followed up attentively throughout, always responsive to our requests. He handled every small detail with such care and thoughtfulness, making us feel completely at ease.
The dining experience at the restaurant was excellent. The dishes were varied, delicious, and of high quality. A special thanks to Dekyi Wangmo for her exceptional care. Her service was warm and attentive; she proactively anticipated our needs, from taking orders to refilling tea and providing thoughtful details. The dining atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, and we enjoyed every meal thoroughly. This was especially helpful for us who experienced some altitude sickness.
Standard hotel services were also top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were humble, courteous, and responded quickly. Whether it was helping with facilities, addressing requests, or providing temporary assistance, they were efficient and warm, truly making us feel at home.
From airport transfers and butler service to restaurant care, the Shangri-La Hotel's exceptional dedication protected our entire journey, making our high-altitude trip warm and smooth.

There are many places to eat around. You can also go out for a walk in the evening to see the Lhasa River view and Nanshan Park. It is also very close to the Potala Palace. It takes about 20 minutes to walk there, and it should be less than 5 minutes to drive there. There are also small gifts after checking in. I feel that this is a hotel worth recommending 🤩

It's really worth the price; there's a laundry room and a separate shower and toilet. They even gave us a welcome gift of fruit and a breakfast voucher. My friend said it was the best noodles he'd had on his trip to Lhasa. We were supposed to order food from our room that day, but we realized we were late. While we were making a call in the lobby, a front desk staff member proactively poured us a cup of hot tea! They were so attentive and helpful—I loved it! If they had this in other cities, I'd definitely stay here everywhere. Much better than Hilton!

However, there will be a Dangxiong train passing by at night, and it will blow the whistle, which will be a surprise for the first time. Dangxiong is a little high in altitude, and the clerk was very considerate to help carry the luggage, otherwise it would be quite difficult for us to climb the stairs.
