It's situated between the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, both about a six to seven-minute walk away. Downstairs, there's a yak hotpot restaurant with the popular internet celebrity, Little Lamu, performing. They also have automatic robots that deliver takeout directly to your room. GGuest UserService: The service was excellent. I requested a very quiet room because my elderly relatives are light sleepers and have very high standards for their accommodations. Both the manager and the front desk staff went out of their way to meet our needs, which we greatly appreciated. Oxygen Supply: The oxygen supply is medical-grade, and it felt very effective. My elderly relatives all reported sleeping very well at night. Plus, each room was provided with a large pot of rhodiola rosea tea, which we could even take with us to Yamdrok Lake – a very thoughtful touch. Room: The room was quite comfortable and relatively quiet. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The architecture of the building is unique, and the garden is exceptionally beautiful. Next time I come to Lhasa, I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

GGuest User1. This is by far the best value, most comfortable, and tastiest hotel in Lhasa. I first stayed here during the Keriya Pass trip and was so impressed that I've returned every time since, and have even recommended it to friends. 2. The service is consistently excellent, the rooms are spacious, and they provide oxygen, humidifiers, and ample heating. The parking lot is also large. 3. The breakfast is incredibly diverse and genuinely delicious – it's got that authentic wok-hei flavor! It's far superior to many five-star hotels that offer variety but lack taste. They even provide convenient individual bread portions for takeaway. 4. I didn't have time to eat fruit at breakfast, so a lovely front desk attendant kindly packed a small box for me. So thoughtful! The fruit was sweet and fresh, and the quality was excellent. 5. Because of this Lhasa hotel, I now only consider staying at Pingcuo Kangsang hotels whenever I'm in Tibet. I truly recommend it!

GGuest UserMy trip to Lhasa this time was spent entirely at this hotel, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Tibet. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly close to Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, allowing you to walk directly to all the main attractions. This means no need to wake up early to rush for transport, saving both time and hassle. In the evening, it's especially convenient to take a stroll and see the Potala Palace at night. You don't have to travel far, and you can easily capture stunning twilight photos. For tourists wanting to explore the old city in depth, the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spotless, with floors, bathrooms, and even the edges of tables meticulously cleaned. The bedding is clean and odor-free, showing that basic hygiene is handled exceptionally well. The rooms are equipped with oxygen machines and humidifiers, a double boost perfectly suited for the dry and high-altitude environment. I didn't experience chest tightness or dry mouth at night, allowing me to fall asleep peacefully and completely alleviate the discomfort of altitude sickness. Even first-time visitors to Tibet can get a good, restful night's sleep here. What truly impressed me was the warm service from everyone. From the security guard at the entrance to the front desk staff handling check-in, and even the aunties and uncles in the breakfast restaurant, every single staff member was warm and gentle. They patiently and thoroughly answered any questions, treated guests with genuine sincerity, and showed thoughtful care at every turn. The check-in process at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the breakfast selection was abundant. Staff would proactively refill dishes, demonstrating their attentiveness to detail. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. The location, cleanliness, facilities, and service were all top-notch – absolutely no disappointments. If I visit Lhasa again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice. I also recommend it to any friends planning a trip to Lhasa; it's truly a reliable place to stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, very close to the Jokhang Temple and Jokhang Temple, just a few minutes' walk away. It is very close to the Potala Palace, and there is a large shopping mall on the way to the Potala Palace. The only regret is that the hotel itself does not have a parking lot, and friends who drive can only find a parking lot nearby. Environment: It has local folk characteristics, there is a laundry room on the top floor, and you can see the Potala Palace😊 Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Facilities: Retro, with a humidifier. Service: Very good, and a small gift was given when checking out🎁

GGuest UserAfter staying in Lhasa for two days, we came back from a short tour and rebooked this Tibetan-style hotel. The staff (both male and female) were very enthusiastic and responsible. We even received a small welcome gift upon check-in, which made us feel right at home. The hotel breakfast was very extensive, and the views from both the room and the restaurant were absolutely stunning.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Lhasa with three elderly family members. The hotel's facilities were quite complete, and although it's a bit older, it's well-maintained. The service was warm and friendly, and we were very satisfied with our stay. When we arrived, the staff at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage. Yesterday, one of the seniors experienced some altitude sickness, and when we returned to the hotel, the front desk attendant kindly provided an oxygen tank, which effectively alleviated their symptoms. I was so busy looking after them that I forgot to take any pictures of the hotel.

XXiaojingerdegushiMany people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

GGuest UserLhasa, known as the 'City of Sunshine,' left an incredibly beautiful memory for my family and me during our stay at the InterContinental Lhasa Paradise. The hotel's exterior is grand and aesthetically pleasing, with an overall stylish ambiance. The bedding in the rooms was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. What we loved most was the glass design in the lobby; sitting there, you can gaze up at Lhasa's pristine blue skies and white clouds. As the sunlight streams in, it truly broadens your mind. Before our trip, we were torn between The St. Regis Lhasa Resort and Shangri-La. We even visited both properties to compare their services. After careful consideration, we ultimately chose the InterContinental Lhasa Paradise, and looking back, it was absolutely the right decision. My family and I have stayed at many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, but the service here, in particular, genuinely impressed us. Throughout our stay, the person I want to commend most sincerely is our butler, Dekyi Nancy. She went above and beyond for us, handling numerous tasks, many of which were outside her regular duties. We felt a little bad for bothering her so frequently, but she was always gracious, handling everything big and small with meticulous care and no complaints. Dekyi Nancy not only has outstanding professional abilities but also treats guests with warmth and sincerity, offering professional and detailed service, and handling matters reliably and steadily. Knowing that altitude sickness can be an issue upon arrival, she constantly kept our family's health in mind. She would proactively check in on us daily, offering thoughtful reminders about high-altitude travel, rest, and dietary precautions. No matter what problems we encountered or what needs we had, she responded immediately, patiently helped coordinate solutions, and provided attentive companionship throughout our stay. Compared to other high-end hotels we've experienced, Dekyi Nancy's enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism truly stood out. Her service wasn't just a rigid, procedural interaction; it was genuine care and concern from the heart, making us, as visitors in a foreign land, feel a profound sense of warmth. With excellent facilities, breathtaking views, and such warm and thoughtful service, our entire stay was impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Lhasa and feel fortunate to have met such an exceptional butler as Dekyi Nancy during our trip. Her meticulous care made our high-altitude journey comfortable and unforgettable.
