Lifton Hall Hotel

Lovely stay at Lifton Hall we had two rooms (rather than an apartment) and they were both wonderful, spacious, comfortable, fabulous coffee machine (always a win for me) with a really nice feel about them. The hotel is very tastefully done it feels welcoming, comfortable and so stylish in keeping with its age. Hosts are absolutely super very friendly and totally professional which can be a difficult balance but they do it perfectly! Our breakfasts were en point, fresh produce beautifully cooked and presented with just the right amount. Sunday lunch was amazing! And the scones perfect! So light and fluffy! Had a bit of FOMO as wish had booked an afternoon tea but only so much you can eat over two nights ;-)) Thanks Lifton Hall you smashed it out of the park

We had a afternoon tea this afternoon, fantastic homemade products, nice large pot of tea with a choice of teas to choose from, can highly recommend it any time of the year great atmosphere with great service , if you can’t eat it all they will give you a box to take home

We have had afternoon tea at Michael Caine's Lympstone, the Burge Khalifa Dubai and Lifton Hall. Today's visit was for festive afternoon tea and Lifton Hall was the best. The little extras like the soup and apple crumble with custard made it even better. The food was excellent and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly recommend.

Another old pub with a really nice ambience, the interior still reflects this in the bar and restaurant with the low beamed ceiling. Our suite room was excellent. A large 4 poster bed didn't fill the room, there was even a desk and chair, a sofa for relaxing and two chairs and a small table in the bay window overlooking the car park and countryside beyond. Equipped with TV, good WiFi, tea and coffee, immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a very good full English for myself. Thick bacon, tasty sausage, mushrooms, egg, to-matoes, baked beans, toast , juice and coffee or many other choices one of which my partner thor-oughly enjoyed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying with my family at Lifton Hall Hotel Sycamore apartment and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made welcome- lovely homemade cake on arrival. The luxurious accommodation, coupled with exceptional service, made it truly a memorable stay celebrating my dad’s birthday. The family had an absolutely wonderful time as it it amazing place to spend time together. Highly recommend!

We called in without booking, requesting a table for 2 early Friday evening ( high season) for food. We were very warmly welcomed and seated immediately. We were served promptly, the food was beautiful. Can not praise the place highly enough. Already booked for Sunday lunch!
