"I went to visit my daughter who is studying abroad. Since her room only has one bed, I stayed here. I booked it thinking I just needed a place to sleep. On the day I arrived, there was only one other guest in the room, so it was nice and quiet. I was expecting something like a Japanese capsule hotel, but there were no towels or anything like that. My daughter told me that's normal for a European guesthouse. Just be aware of that!"

"Comfortable hotel with young energetic people working there, check-in and check-out was simple and fast. Good WiFi, soft towels and big beds. I also got very lucky with the view, the building is one of tallest ones in the area so from the upper floors one can see the town. The breakfast is very variable: veggies, fruits, eggs, omelette, yoghurt, pastries (also pieces of gluten free bread is provided), coffee and juices - just a full buffet. Big bar in the evening. A big disadvantage: all the floors (rooms, elevators, corridors) are decorated with the thick carpets. If you have allergies on dust, it’s a torture."

"What a beautiful hotel, oldie worldy & the aroma when you walk in is amazing, sort of sandalwood greetings & the ambience absolutely beautiful. However, I wanted room service, I could get the menu up on the QR code, I had to go downstairs & get one, totally defeats the point of wanting 'room service' which I was informed not 24/7 but, the 'chef' had pre-prepared food in a glass jar, the receptionist heated it up in a microwave & served it..nice! I've been home for two days and still waiting for the hotel to send someone to my room & fix the air-con/heater!! It was so cold I had to open the window to get some heat in!! Ridiculous, really for a "4 star" hotel the bathroom/toilet was disgusting, decor falling & holes in the walls etc. Not good enough by 4 star standards! Ashame really as it was lovely. Thank you for reading my rant!"

"I chose this hotel because it had a parking lot. However, when I arrived early, the parking was already full. What I regret is: 1/ the employee at the front desk didn't apologize, and 2/ they gave me incorrect directions to the 'Nouveau Siècle' parking, and I refuse to believe they don't know the streets they mentioned are blocked on Saturdays. We would have happily returned, but now I'm not so sure about a new visit..."

"We recently stayed at this new property near the city centre and had a very comfortable experience overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and especially convenient for families traveling with children. One of the best features of the room was the well-equipped cooking area. It included pots, pans, dishes, a dishwasher, and even a mini fridge for storing food and drinks, which made things so much easier while traveling with small kids. It really gave the comfort and convenience of a small apartment. The location is another big advantage. The hotel is right next to a shopping mall with plenty of shopping options, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants nearby, making everything easily accessible. The breakfast was good and fresh, although the variety of options could have been a little better. Still, it was enough for a nice start to the day. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and relaxing. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it, especially for families or longer stays."

"I am very disappointed in this hotel. I got in a family situation that required me to cancel my trip. This hotel refused to refund my money and instead charged for the full trip. I will be making future trips to France, but will make sure to stay somewhere else. Maybe I'm just used to being treated so well by Bonboy, but I probably won't even book a hotel through trip.com again."

"The hotel offers good value for money and the staff are generally attentive to feedback. However, I arrived to a room that hadn't been disinfected, as shown in the photo of the bedside table with traces of previous occupants. I went downstairs to inform them, and the receptionist came up to disinfect the key areas (door handles, light switches, bedside tables, etc.). Another issue: the windows don't open, making it impossible to ventilate the room, even though the staff claims there's a ventilation system. Unfortunately, it's not noticeable. Nevertheless, I remain convinced that this hotel is convenient despite everything."

"The images are very deceitful. Utterly choked to see the rusty structure of the building from outside. On hearing hôtel de Lille, I expected more from outside. The tiny pool from the pictures didn't match the reality. I thought I would swim in an 18 or 25 metres pool, to my great disappointment it put me off swimming."

It turns out that the air-conditioning in this hotel is actually average, and the price is very expensive and the price is average."
