This is probably one of the best hotels in Limoges. The staff is very warm and nice. People in small cities are relatively nice. There is a Carrefour supermarket next to the hotel. It is not big, but it can satisfy us. We bought sausages that need to be heated before eating. When we returned to the hotel, the service staff was very good to help us heat them up. The breakfast is OK. The variety is not rich, but basically everything is available. The room is good, not small, the bathroom is large, the heating is sufficient, and the clothes washed every day are dried in half a day. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The location should be considered good. It is a 10-minute drive from the train station and a 5-minute walk to the town hall. You can find the largest church in the city by walking along the town hall for about 10 minutes. It is an 18-20-minute walk from the commercial center of the old town. The roads in small cities are mostly uphill and downhill. Many small European cities are like this. If you walk, it is a good fitness exercise. There is a cat cafe in the city center, with many super cute cats, and the cake and coffee are also cost-effective. Overall, I am very satisfied.
In a retro-style hotel, Mercure Limoges Centre offers large bedrooms, some with balconies overlooking Place de la Republique or the city rooftops. Five meeting rooms, totaling 4,000 sq. ft., can accommodate your meetings and events. Enjoy regional produce at breakfast and meet us at the bar for a drink.

Although Limoges is not a tourist city, we also stopped temporarily on the way to Lyon, but the city still gave us many surprises. Mercure’s hardware and software are good, the design is very modern, and the hotel facilities are relatively new. The rooms are definitely relatively large in Europe. The hotel is not far from the old city. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the most famous butcher shop street in the old city. It takes about 12-13 minutes to walk to Saint-Etienne Cathedral. There is a Chinese restaurant called Au Panda in Limoges. I talked directly with the owner and his wife what they wanted to eat, and the taste was quite good. They are famous for their hot pot, and they also have stir-fried dishes, which are much better than those foolish Chinese buffets!
Close to downtown Limoges, the capital of porcelain, the industry-themed ibis Styles boasts an impressive 96 rooms and suites, 100-seat Antiq restaurant, and modern and stylish 75 m2 modular meeting room.
