From the time we arrived and until the time we left all the staff were friendly. When we arrived we didn’t have to wait long to been seen to. Reception was clean and tidy. One reason I stay at a Premier Inn is because of your beds and pillows. They are always comfy.

From start to finish our stay was excellent. Our daughter had booked us a night to which we added another, I tried to do this on the app and over the phone but couldn't get the same room, with a view. However, lauren/Laura (can't remember her name) sorted this straight away. We were made to feel welcome by everyone. The meal deal of a 2 course dinner then breakfast for £26.99 was excellent value and we booked breakfast the following day. The room was lovely and big, and very clean.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, on the Albert Docks in an old Tobacco warehouse. It's a beautiful building and we had an outlook over the water. Everything was fine and the same standard as every other premier inn - friendly staff, yummy brekkie. Just to be aware that here are 2 tiers of room pricing - the more expensive one in other premier inns is a superior room and has a fridge. This premier inn's more expensive room DOES NOT have a fridge however you can ask for ice at reception

I was here for four nights, Monday to Thursday, with my wife and three other couples. We use Premier Inns in the UK because you pretty much know what you're going to get although this one is a bit different - seems to be a listed building. Location is excellent only a ten minute walk from the centre and probably twenty minute walk to The Beatles Quarter. The British Music Museum is ten minutes away too and well worth a visit. The room we had looked right over the dock and over the Mersey. the windows are secondary double glazed but I think that's most likely because as it's an old building the original windows will be protected by the building's listing. Breakfast was on the better side of standard Premier Inn fayre as was dinner. As we all know it's Premier Inn and food is pretty much standard everywhere but this was definitely slightly better with the fried eggs actually being yolky rather than dried out. Staff were very friendly and helpful so no whinges there. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great destination, the hotel is beautiful, so 'old' and just amazing. The docks are super impressive, lots of restaurants and bakeries etc. Only issue was parking, you need to plan ahead to ensure you pay a fair price and ensure that you get something reasonably close. Nonetheless its awesome and i'd definitely go back.

The hotel itself is an old building in need of an update but in a fabulous location. We were 5 friends away for a couple of nights and booked 5 separate rooms. Reception staff allocated us all rooms on the 4th floor which was good of them . Unfortunately one of the rooms was an internal room with no outside window, same price as the others . She asked to change , reception ( different staff) said no . We spoke to a ‘ manager ‘ who had absolutely no idea how to deal with articulate ladies . He told us we would have been informed about the internal room . He told us there were no other rooms . He told us that prices depended on the views from the room. He told us it was hotel policy to not change rooms . We each paid £176 for varying views and size of rooms. We could book rooms online so it wasn’t full . He contradicted himself. He was flustered and incompetent. The location is great but the service is absolutely nonexistent and the internal room thing that really beggars belief. Never stay there again. It is a bog standard basic hotel but I’ve never stayed anywhere that the service is so blasé and it’s a case of pot luck regarding what room you get .
