Warm welcome and clean room. Bought the meal deal. The food is miles better than the Premier Inn down the road. Paid for the WiFi upgrade. If only the WiFi speeds were better, I’d have given five stars. Shrubbery in the car park is rather tatty.

Stayed for one night. Room comfy and clean. Warm without being overheated. Although the building is slightly tired looking it was clean and tidy. Would maybe benefit from a coat of paint. Staff all pleasant, friendly and helpful. Good night’s sleep. Good meal Deer Park Beefeater next door. Good breakfast as well.

Over the years my wife and I have used Premier inn across the country, always raved about the quality versus the price,I thought they were excellent. Stayed in Liverpool Feb 24....not so good. Stayed in Livingston Jan 25....awful,I know bad revues won't change people's minds about were they stay and spend but it's sad to see such a decline in what was once a quality product. I really can't stay again. I value my sleep,so many doors banging. I like to be able to feel clean after I've touched a light switch. Cobwebs hanging over the bed....just not a great experience, this won't change the standard that I seek, money needs spending in a refurb. An experience worth telling.

I was welcomed to the Premier Inn with exceptional customer service by Jamie, Very helpful and polite and swiftly dealt with my reservation, Great staff and a nice place to stay with easy access to the nearby M8 motorway and accessible to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I left a great review on trust pilot regarding the service I received in the restaurant on day two of my stay. However this was premature, the service I received after this was very poor, staff ignoring patrons while doing nothing, it was like they are afraid to engage with the guests. I had one server on my last evening eating at Livingston that was particularly ignorant and just ignored me, when he was not actually doing anything.

Despite what you may think, not all Premier Inn rooms are the same. I've stayed at a few Premier Inn sites, around the country, and the room I was given, at this hotel, was the amongst the best I've stayed in. Having never stayed at this hotel before, I'm not sure if this room was standard, for this site, or if I was given higher grade of room. It was spacious, had a nice large tv, and the bed was of the usually comfortable standard. I have got one slight niggle, and that's the pillows. I found a single to be too soft and doubling them up was too uncomfortable. In the end I had use a towel to find that happy median. Having got the niggle out the way, I have to praise this site for the heated towel rail in the bathroom, It's not a massive thing, but it was surprising. When I'm next need an overnight stay close to Edinburgh, I'll definitely be looking at this site again.

This is the third and last time I will stay at this hotel as for me I never see any improvements made in the actual decor/furniture. The staff were lovely and even arranged for me to have a room in a quiet area of hotel as I had an early flight next day, however; the hotel is tired looking now and very basic compared to other premier inns I have stayed in, I use it primarily for the outlet but will be looking for other hotels in the area going forward, please invest some money into revamping this hotel as it could be so much better.

We needed a place to stay while we did an craft show event in Edinburgh, but there was a rugby international on the Sunday, so everywhere in the city was overpriced. Staying outside of Edinburgh and driving in was far more practical, and probably quicker than from many hotels we could have stayed at in the city. We've stayed at Premier Inns many times before and knew what kind of hotel to expect. We had a comfortable stay in a nice, clean room, with decent bed, shower, TV etc. It was quiet. There was ample parking. The staff were really helpful. Very good breakfast. Will stay there again, as it really worked well for us, and the cost didn't break the bank!

Yes hotel could benefit from a refurb but it's clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. Staff welcoming and friendly including those in Beefeater Restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made to order. Well placed for Livingston and its fab shopping centre. Taxis around a tenner and can be booked at hotel where you're given priority.

Sadly this hotel needs a complete overhaul and is not up to Premier Inn usual standards. The rooms are tired and need renovations asap. The bedside table didn’t have any trim on it, showing bare wood chip. The bathroom was disgusting - the bath itself was stained and had rusty fixtures, there was black mould indented in the wood work of the door and very rusty hinges. The whole place is looking very tired and in need of refurbishing. The staff were very pleasant and courteous.

If you want a quiet stay DO NOT stay here, we booked after landing early hours and we made the mistake booking here instead of airport one. We had the most unsettled broken noisy sleep ever. We told desk who had same complaints from other guests. Nothing was done was told to send an email. Heard nothing back was not worth the money! Bathroom was so dirty also.

I am a fan of Premier Inns and, as far as the room goes, this one was up to the usual high standard: good sized room and ensuite, tastefully decorated and furnished, very comfortable bed with a thick warm duvet, free wifi and a wonderful non-buffet breakfast. A few things were not so good: I had a ground floor room overlooking the car park and there were regular comings and goings by vehicles; the hotel is only 8 miles from Edinburgh Airport and aircraft noise was quite common; there is no grab rail in the shower which for an 80 year old man like me, makes getting in and out of the shower potentially hazardous.
