Stayed here for 2 nights as a solo female traveller whilst on a work trip. Lovely boutique type modern hotel with (I think) 21 rooms. At the moment they’re not doing food but I think that’s on the horizon as they have a lovely restaurant downstairs, there is a bar area however I’m not sure if that’s open at present either. You can still sit down there though and you can purchase crisps, chocolates and soft drinks from the reception area. Room facilities included teas and coffees, biscuits, toiletries, proper iron and ironing board, TV etc. The guy at reception, I think his name is Sarosh was very welcoming and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. Also the bonus of free car parking in their private car park (with CCTV) around the back. The rooms aren’t soundproof at all unfortunately (I think it states somewhere they are which I always look for when booking), so I could hear next door but it’s a hotel and I guess a level of noise is expected, however it was very quiet overnight. I do think soundproof doors would make a huge difference. Ultimately I genuinely felt very safe here and as a solo female that was important. I would recommend and I would return.
