Doubletree Hilton is always my go-to and having saved more money via trip and Hilton not price matching, i was worried I would not get my Hilton benefits. However, I was able to choose my room to check in as per, however Hilton seems to have a habit now of when you arrive finding out room has been changed and they apparently upgrading you but it's not actual upgrade! I was given choice of 2 rooms eventually and still pleased with it, Nice view, although a tad noisy on 5th floor facing the main road. Ample space, comfy bed, good size bathroom. Breakfast was actually one of the nicest I've had in a hotel in a long time. Front desk was very helpful and easy to deal with. Bar allowed me to get ice and water to take to my room. Location was spot on with access to tube and buses. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Bathroom bathtub drainage failure cannot be repaired, no free water

First, the room price was unexpectedly reduced by more than 1,300 for two nights, but the hotel had an upgrade supervisor who handled it for me and said they would refund it to me, even if the hotel didn't give it to them, they would refund it, which is ok, thumbs up! Secondly, the hotel said there were no rooms when we checked in, but there were still many rooms for sale that day. We waited until 2 pm and still said there were no rooms and asked us to go at 3 pm. How could those foreigners who were waiting in line check in? In another place, are foreigners given priority in our great China? I am very dissatisfied with this. We arrived on time at three o'clock and checked in. At first, a man received us. He looked at the information for a long time and then went back to find another woman to receive us. I had clearly signed all these things when I came in the morning, but they didn't check the records and still asked me to sign. Fortunately, they didn't ask me to pay a deposit again, and they didn't give me a receipt or deposit slip when I paid the deposit. They said that the deposit would be returned directly to me when I check out. I need to continue to pay attention to this, because I checked in at the Ritz-Carlton Xi'an on September 8th, which was booked through Ctrip, and the deposit was not returned to me until a few days ago; secondly, the hotel did not have mineral water to drink, and the room was facing the stairs. People who drank and went home at night were very noisy. It was right under the British flag. I felt that the hotel was very unfriendly to us!

The hotel room is very average, maybe it's the room type I booked. I feel the location is better. If I want to go to the British Museum, it will be more convenient, but I didn't have any related itinerary that day. I had to go to King's Cross to take a bus. I feel that the living environment is not very OK, and the itinerary is not so convenient for me

The room is ok, of course it is a little lacking compared with similar priced hotels in China, but its location is very convenient, about 5 minutes walk from the British Museum; there is bus 91 at the door to the National Gallery, which costs 1.75 pounds per person and takes 5-6 stops (the distance between stations is very close); it is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. If I have the chance to go to London again, at least I will choose this hotel again; I personally suggest that you can choose hotel breakfast and then go directly to the attractions, and then choose a nearby Chinese restaurant. For dinner, you can choose fruits from a nearby small supermarket, etc.... This is purely a personal suggestion!

The hotel is conveniently located near the British Museum, and is very convenient for taking the subway and bus. Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, and the Thames River are all within walking distance. There are many restaurants around the hotel, including many Chinese restaurants. The hotel looks like an old building, but the interior is decorated in a modern style. The room is large, and two 28-inch suitcases can be opened without any pressure. The bathroom is not too big, but it is OK. The waiter cleans every day and is timely. Delicious biscuits are also given at the front desk. The breakfast is a bit simple. I stayed for four days and it basically didn't change (but it seems that the breakfasts of hotels of this level in London are basically the same, typical English breakfast varieties). It would be better if there was some porridge for breakfast (the Hilton Metropolitan in London has porridge for breakfast)

The room was very hygienic. There were black marks on the bed. Secondly, the front desk service was very poor. The attitude was very bad. There was an Indian and a black man. Since we checked in at midnight, we didn't get welcome cookies. The tone was very arrogant. When arranging the room for us, we chose a room in the corner. We asked to change the room, but the front desk refused our request because there was no room. Avoid this hotel. The facilities in the room are also very old. Except for the slightly better location, there is really no other advantage. You can stay in other hotels at the same price.

The hotel is nice, very close to the British Museum. The breakfast and the food in the executive lounge are very good, better than the small restaurants nearby.

There is a supermarket next to the hotel. It is located in the downtown area but very quiet at night. The room is clean and tidy. The surrounding transportation is convenient. It has everything you need. It is very convenient to live here. There are all kinds of dining and shopping around. Everyone has praised it.
