"the staff was super helpful. the room was spacious and clean; with generous heating to boot! the floor of the bathroom was heated, which i thought was a nice touch. the breakfast was tasty with variety of foods to choose from. i especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs. the location is superb, too. it’s the first drop off and pick up point of the airport shuttle bus. the bed was comfortable and the duvet was clean, crisp, and super warm. one thing i missed was maybe a refrigerator, but you don’t necessarily need one, so not a big deal anyway. overall a pleasant stay!"

"This was a nice apartment and the staff (located in the main hotel) were helpful. The location is great. The reason for the 3 stars is the noise at the weekend. I know we were told the bar might be a bit noisy but it's more than that ....at the weekend there was live music and karaoke Friday and Saturday night until 2am....ok but then everyone leaves at the same time and stands under our window shouting until 2:30am. Not possible to sleep. Then the ones who are staying in the lodge come in and bang snow off their shoes it was unbearable. I have two suggestions, the Bar should remind customers that people in the area may be sleeping so they should leave quietly (this happens at many bars around the world)...and there should be a sign in the lodge requesting people don't bang their feet late at night. We slept well on Sunday night and had a lovely time in Svalbard. "

"Fantastic hotel, unique rooms with such a cozy and great atmosphere. We even got to see the northern lights from the loft!! The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and nice. Excellent breakfast. We’re definitely coming back and we will stay here again! Truely recommend this to everyone! Thank you so much for a great stay!"
