"If you want to feel like you are an American in Las Vegas, this is the place for you. Spent 5 nights here only to be close to my favourite fishing beach. This place has loud music playing everywhere constantly, in rooms, lifts, pools, gardens, it’s just too much. Even in their zen zone music is pumping. Every restaurant (if they are actually open) for every meal has lines of 1 hr or more as no reservations can be made. We were assigned a ‘personal butler’ but saw him once at check in and never again. The place was full of Americans being typically loud Americans and the food was very average with almost no authentic Mexican food. It was all to cater to Americans tastes. The staff didn’t seem to care about anything and obviously sick of dealing with obnoxious Americans. It’s way overpriced and I’d never return."

"A decent resort has been turned into the most predatory tourist trap. No menu prices online so we were shocked to arrive and see food and drinks charged at exorbitant rates, more than double what we are used to paying back home in the states. Gym was nice but had rotten fruit in the snack basket. No coffee machine in the room (seriously?) and a basic latte in the basement Starbucks is $10 USD. Wow. The staff were helpful and friendly. A nice resort, but not at all worth the insane prices paid."

"Excellent hotel and staff from the bellhop King to the manger at the restaurants Omar and some of his amazing staff Veronica, Suni, Alex and omg can’t remember his name right now one of our waiter’s he was awesome too! All the staff was exceptional and they made us feel at home. Also our housekeeper Yenidey amazing she gave my friend a Happy Birthday banner for our door. I was there for a friends 50th Birthday and she was left speechless and overwhelmed with joy!!! She said best birthday ever!!! Thank you thank you!!"

"Overall, my experience was positive. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast, while not offering a wide variety, was simple but tasty, perfect for starting the day. The customer service was excellent; the staff was attentive, friendly, and always available to meet my needs, which really added to the quality of my stay. In addition, the view from the rooftop was simply magnificent, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The elevator is also a plus, especially after a long day of walking. It's really convenient to be able to access your room easily when you're tired. The hotel's location is also perfect; it's close to everything, making it easy to quickly discover local attractions without having to travel too far. However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The electrical outlets didn't always work properly, which was a bit frustrating, and the soundproofing in the rooms leaves something to be desired. I could easily hear noise from neighboring rooms, which slightly affected my comfort. Overall, if you're looking for a conveniently located place with impeccable service in Los Cabos, the Colmena Marina Hotel is a good option!"

"Everything was excellent, except for the afternoon receptionist, the one with the ***** hair. She was very rude. This is the fourth time I've stayed there. Everything had always been excellent before. We were always served by a very attentive young woman who does her job very well. Other than that, everything was excellent. The restaurant is very good; we have breakfast there every day."

"Rooms are far away from reception and a transport service is needed to reach them. Walking is not really possible. Needed to wait long to be picked up at peak hours. Also needed to wait long again to get the car from valley parking. We had food in the apartment but in the morning it was fulll with small animals. Had to through it away."
