I was a bit hesitant to book the room in this hotel but my god I was surprised . The rooms were cleaned everyday. The hotel is the best budget hotel in Cairo . I loved my stay at the hotel. You can boo it without any hesitation

It was a normal hotel. The facilities and interior were a little old, but it was not a big deal. The view of the Nile was great. However, the heating was not working and it was cold.

There is no problem with the hotel itself, but it is noisy facing the street. The windows in Egypt are all push-pull type. The sealing strips will age with use and the sound insulation effect will become worse. The windows of this hotel have this problem. Maybe it is a problem for the locals. Checked in in 14/02/2023 and had to wait 30 mins after 12 hours traveling in the dustiest lobby ever! as the staff claimed that they are cleaning the room cause no rooms are empty. The room in the first floor, the street noises are unbearable, TV and air-conditioning are down and not working. The staff have the most unprofessional attitude ever, they even told me that the roof " the only place that you can breath" is closed when it's actually open. In the room there's that old as temple carpet that smells like corpus. Not recommended to visit or even consider it in your plans to book.

The hotel looks ugly from the outside, the furnishings are simple, old, a bit worn, and the rooms (lobby, restaurant, rooms) all look dark. But: everything was very clean. We only slept here for one night, but the hotel offers very good value for money. 3 stars typical of the country (so 2+ for us), with large, comfortable beds, bathtub and shower, air conditioning, a view of the Nile and a large balcony. The roof garden has a bar, snack bar and a small pool. The staff make a lot of effort to make guests feel welcome. There are small individual safes behind the reception. However, it is on the main road and is really very loud, especially since the windows are not soundproof at all. But it is also very centrally located for excursions and activities.

Terrible hotel, from an unbearable smell of tobacco throughout the establishment (including the room) to constant noise coming from the streets (non-existent sound insulation). The pool and terrace bar were closed. The worst of all was the attempt by the receptionist and then the hotel owner to charge me 25% more than what was indicated by Booking, alluding to their lack of margin, taxes, etc., etc.... of course I didn't do it. I allowed it but the maneuver seemed incredible to me. I will never return and I advise avoiding this hotel at all costs, if you still decide to go, it is better to bring the $ or € to pay in those currencies.
