"One of the best hotels in Port Ghalib, if not the best. It lives up to its name “palace” quite aptly. Pleasantly surprised by the kindness, gentleness and availability of the staff. The all inclusive is rather stunning. Even during the day at the beach you are served on your deckchair. The food is quite repetitive but it is so abundant and differentiated that you can eat different things every day. However, I think that for trips of two weeks or more this could be a problem. Small downside for the spa. Prices are at the customer's discretion. I imagine that the owner(s) of the spa are different from the hotel. Ultimately I didn’t subscribe to any treatment. I would go back."

I had been in the car for 5 hours... I re-booked a family room and paid more than 100 US dollars in taxes. The next day, they called me to pay an additional 25 US dollars. Through the translation software, they said that the 25 US dollars was because my room fee was not paid directly to them, so when they collected the room fee from the platform, they would also incur a 25 US dollar handling fee, which I had to bear... Well, I paid it again, and I don’t understand why it was not collected all at once yesterday? Ctrip's service is really good, I have to give it a thumbs up. I called them and they responded quickly, helped me handle it, and even compensated me for the price difference!"

"Just back from Egypt and spent the last 5 days here, highly recommended! We arrived on Jan 6 and by chance the dinner was promoted due to east European festival, had really extraordinary experiences. The food of course in the other days were good as well of course. :-) The private beach is cool, excellent for the snorkeling. The water was not very cold and I was kind of weak therefore got wet suit, so everything is fine. And do ask the lifeguard where the sea cow is! Actually there could be many programs to have a day trip or so, in the hotel there are also plenty programs to join in like Yoga and beach volleyball. They have nearly live show also everyday. While I preferred to enjoy 3 meals, beach and go snorkelling since it is fantastic for me already. :P Moreover, the team of Hilton Marsa Alam is great. Ashraf, Hussein, and team helped me a lot, and they are super nice and ready for help all the time. The room is super clean and I was promoted to a sea-view huge room and the bed is over 2 meters I think it is a Cleopatra bed :DDD By the way you could take GoBus to arrive the hotel if you do not need much to take taxi or so. Or like us, we came actually from Luxor and took a ride (private pickup truck, 2ppl 50 egyptian pound) near Marsa Alam to the hotel. I guess not many chose our way. Again, highly recommended. And thank you so much, I wish I could be there soon."

I recommend the restaurant by the beach and the Italian restaurant in the hotel next door. They are all from the same group, and the products are very good, including the all-inclusive package. The bedding is just so-so, and the hotel in Luxor has the same problem, a little rough, but I got used to it on the second night. The only thing that is disgusting is that the fare from the hotel to the airport is almost like robbery, that is, they can rob you directly, but they finally send you to the airport. From the hotel door to the airport, it is only an 8-minute drive. The hotel front desk initially quoted 30 euros, nearly 240 yuan! It is claimed that this is not charged by the hotel, but it is said that this price is because the taxi has a counter in the hotel and needs to pay rent to the hotel. I can only say: This is your hotel helping them raise the price. Finally, the hotel manager came out and called the car outside to come in, and paid 15 US dollars to go to the airport."
