The Plumber Manor team organised my birthday lunch in January. We had a fantastic party, with wonderful food, excellent service and a very nice reception. Some of our guests stayed in the Manor over the weekend and were delighted. Thank you. Caroline.

Immaculate, charming and friendly. A haven of timeless values, impeccable food and wine (including a discerning and reasonable half bottle selection) and comfort. The ultimate antidote to busy London, and a very relaxing and welcoming retreat for a solo stay.

Plumber Manor is a true gem! You are guaranteed to receive a warm welcome and then enjoy the quality and comfort of the rooms and facilities, the quality of the food and the professional and friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble and the restaurant menu is both varied and excellent. The hotel has electric vehicle charging points which are accessible and easy to use.

This was our second stay and first over Christmas, previously mid summer. It is a unique small and intimate hotel in a time warp of the best of the past. We were expecting more of a Christmas Party but as ever the whole atmosphere was low key . We will return for a summer visit. Perhaps we missed our family too much.

We spent the night prior to a family 90th birthday party as cannot complement the team at Plummer Manor any higher !! From arriving Saturday afternoon to be given tea and cake followed by a lovely dinner. We had a number of changes to our plans due to family reasons and each time the team understood the issues and where very helpful and accommodating. Great Sunday lunch and use of a small snug room that was excellent and parents throughly enjoyed the big day . Well done everyone it made for a very enjoyable and special day

We try and go every year, mainly to see the change of colour at Stourhead but also Christmas shopping. I think we have been going back now for the last 20years. You would find it difficult to fault, staff and the host (Richard) always very pleasant.

It might seem strange to go to Dorset in the winter but we had an enjoyable time. Plumber Manor is cosy and very comfortable. The hotel is privately owned and run to the standards that the owners would expect to experience for themselves. Service is impeccable. The food is worth a special mention. The menu is interesting and the meal was well prepared and cooked. The wine list offers variety at a sensible price.

Plumber Manor offers a charming retreat with stunning gardens and cozy rooms. The staff is friendly, dinner was outstanding and the breakfast is delightful. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape. We loved our pre-dinner drink by the roaring open fire. Highly recommended!
