Mercure Hotels in Lyon

The room is quite big. The hotel I booked didn't have twin beds. I changed to this one through Ctrip. It actually has a big bed and a sofa bed. The big bed is big enough. Dinner is included. The dinner is good. You can choose 2 dishes. But the location of this hotel is really hard to describe. I took several different transportations to and from the hotel and it was difficult to find the way to the hotel. The road planning of this place is really problematic. It's winding.

The front desk service is enthusiastic. It is right next to the train station. The taxi distance to the old town is acceptable. The hotel is quiet and the service is in place. You can ask the front desk for toothbrushes and slippers. The free water in the room is nice.

Nice staff. Clean room. Just very surprising to have to oaye an extra for my dog. It was never mentioned.

The location is great, in the heart of downtown Lyon, surrounded by lively places, very close to all attractions, within walking distance. The room facilities are good, the bed is very comfortable. The hygiene is good! The service is warm and meticulous. The hotel's breakfast is great and of high quality, and it is equipped with a freshly squeezed orange juice machine!

It's quite safe standard. Staff is friendly and helpful, you have 24h food service. Location was less good if you are as a tourist, but if you are just bypassing it is quite convenient. This hotel also has a nice terasse and inside restaurant and bar. Only thing, the hotel should check out their showers. The water barely disappear while showering and therefor a floaded bathroom. Other than that, I would go again.
