My husband and I recently had an evening meal. We were greeted by Rain, who was a ray of sunshine and very helpful with regard to the gluten free options. We had a great meal - the steaks were really good as we're the chips. If you want great food in a lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff, look no further than the Ryles Arms.

It was my friend's 66th Birthday so we decided to go to the Ryles arms for a special night as he officially retired this week. We had a starter of antipasti with bread and olives which was really nice. Main course My friends had the Beef Wellington which was served as individual portions about five small portions which was a nice idea. I had the Beef Stroganoff with rice and chips and garlic bread I could'nt eat it all and was offered a doggy bag. The serving staff were attentive and efficient and our server was always smiling . My only minus point was no cheese and biscuits I did ask but not available which was a shame after a first class meal.

Amazing food, the pie especially! cooked perfectly. Great and attentive service. Large portion sizes so only needed to get a main meal. Lovely restaurant the blonde waitress was very helpful aswell though they all were. would recommend and will be back.

A great experience. wonderful evening with friends. Food was fab. I couldn't fault it. Staff were exceptional. To me, it was obvious we were in a professional establishment. Customers were their priority. Staff were smart, attentive and respectful. There was a slight delay on our deserts because it was peak time, and busy, however, our waitress made sure we were ok and brought us coffees, making sure we were happy. We will definitely go back... Ryles Arms... Thank you for a lovely evening!

Had a lovely meal here - a Sunday lunch - one of the best I've ever had. Slow cooked melt in the mouth beef, really well flavoured gravy, veg which have a bit of bite and flavour and a great big Yorkshire! The staff were great too, very friendly and well trained. Overall impression was that of a well managed restaurant Lovely.

Great food. My steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you to the Chef. Great decor. Throughly enjoyed. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Saw great team work and they all looked happy. They were busy though and still managed a smile for everyone. Hope to visit again soon.

THE perfect place for a night away to celebrate a 60th birthday. Everything was fabulous - the food was astounding and such generous portions both for evening meal and breakfast. The room was extremely clean and provisions good. Lastly, the staff were amazing and very smiley and are a credit to the Ryles Arms. Cannot wait to come again.

The pub is surrounded by excellent views. The staff were friendly and considerate. Every table was spotless. The food was excellent with good generous portions. The location lends well for country walks and an overnight stay if required.

Could not have wished for a warmer welcome from staff member Rain, she is an excellent advert for this great business. Nice clean popular restaurant with young, knowledgeable serving team. 6 hotel rooms in a separate annex, close to the main building. Ate well(Beef Rendang recommended), slept well and breakfast was superb.
