Worst place to stay, so dirty, washrooms are hell, toilet seats are literally moving, if someone heavy sit on that it will literally collapse. Insects and 🐛 worms are thier on the bed Spiders all above the bed, i was scared on the first look, please don’t feel exited only by looking the photos, its literally the myth

It's a quirky, colourful place, & I would have rated higher if they had not been nasty. Private rooms are spacious, clean, bathrooms are good too. They have a no food in the rooms policy. The day we reached & checked in, We ordered all the food from the property itself. & it was very mediocre. But edible. The next day, we got food packed with us, from traditional local cuisine restaurant. We had not imagined that plates, cutlery, glasses will not be available. I do understand that they cannot have infinite no. of utensils, & these need to be cleaned. However, the plates, glasses are semi-disposable, & we were ready to pay. However, the staff told us that only paper cups could be provided, at Rs 23 per cup. It was a very strange & problematic situation. At 9 pm, the entire town closes down, as it is a hill station, winding roads & no streetlights in the upper areas. & when it is possible to wash up the semi-disposable, then why will we bring in single-use plastics? This episode soured our entire experience.

This place has a vibe. It is good. I didn't feel like I am away from home. It was my first ever solo trip and the places didn't make me feel I m away. It is easily accessible, near to the market, they have clean rooms and great common space.

Hostel still doesnt accept foreigners as they are still not yet approved to do so. It is not stated on the Agoda booking platform which I had used to place my booking. Really disappointing experience. For any foreigners wanting to atay here, please hold until further notice. Staff did provide wifi for me to search for further options.

Rooms given in picture are totally opposite. They have a checkout time of 10 and entry at 1pm. We got to the place at 12:55pm...still the room was not cleaned ....ques is what they did for 3 hrs then? Also the food is complete waste ....never had such bad experience. I will not recommend anyone to stay at gostops coorg. Even after telling them for filing the water can ...it was kept empty ....no immediate action taken. It seems like homestays are being well maintained than that of these names ones. Not at all good .

Perfect, safe, spiritual and happy trip. Comfy beds and good staff. I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every moment. Met people from different cultures. There is a pet which is very friendly. Overall a peaceful experience
