Madrid Chamberi 4-star Hotels

Photos are exactly as shown. This is a beautiful hotel. The room has a balcony and architectural detail in the ceiling that are gorgeous. For a city hotel, the room was really clean and very functional with lots of closet space, desk and table, bedside tables, and a big bathroom. Mini fridge, hair dryer, and toiletries (e.g. toothbrushes) are provided. We were worried about the noise but once we shut the balcony doors, it was pretty quiet and we had a good night's sleep. The only complaint (and this is if we're really nitpicking) is that there the aircon didn't seem to be working, but it really wasn't a big deal; we didn't ask reception about it. We just opened the balcony doors to get some air in. We didn't get meals at the hotel but the food spread looked good from what we could see. There was also a gym and a rooftop, which we took advantage of. There is fruit infused ice water by reception once you walk in, which was a refreshing break before going back to our room. Wifi was great our entire stay. It was my birthday so the hotel staff arranged with my partner to leave some champagne in the room, which was nice. :) Major plus is the subway stop is a 2 minute walk away, and there are lots of cafes nearby! Location is so convenient- you can even walk to the center of the city. Hotel staff are really nice and helpful. We'll definitely return to this hotel next time we're in Madrid! Hotel chains usually have a standard, a process, something to be known for. Or it is the price, the location, the luxurious breakfast, the incredible gyms, you name it. NH is simply what it is in Spain: it is EVERYWHERE, it is AVAILABLE, it is ECONOMICAL, it is CLEAN, it is DIGITAL, it is FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL, it is EVERYWHERE the same. Hence I was guest at NH Zurbano, found myself a digital check in, a clean room, a modern hotel, a great breakfast at a reasonable price and guess what.........next time, NH it will be...

It is very convenient to get to the subway and it is convenient to walk to nearby attractions. It feels very cost-effective in Madrid. It is really convenient to choose here. The location is good, breakfast is good, recommended~

We spent an amazing couple of days here and are already looking forward to our next visit! A clean, well located hotel that had everything we needed. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

Stayed here for two night at the end of my tour of Spain. The hotel is located in a good central location & has a wonderful roof top bar area & pool. However, the pool is under a meter deep, but enough to be refreshing. The room was nice & breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful, I'd certainly stay here again.

I recently stayed at One Shot 22 to celebrate my Birthday and my Daughter's Graduation. I rented two premium rooms. The photos of the rooms depicted a wrap around balcony. Upon arrival the A/C did not work. When I attempted to call the front desk no one picked up the phone. After a few failed attempts on trying to reach someone by phone I proceeded to go down to the lobby. The explained to the receptionist that the AC was not working and I attempted to call but no one had answered the phone. The receptionist stated that she heard the phone but was helping someone else so she could not pick up the phone. I was ok with that response. She then advised me that she was would turn on the AC from a master control station at the desk. I expressed my concern that I would not be able to adjust the AC directly from the room. The receptionist then stated to call the front desk if I want the AC adjusted. I believe this was unacceptable. I was exhausted from travelling that day and went to bed hoping I would not have an issue with the AC. The next day I went down to the front desk to express my dissatisfaction with the two premium rooms not having the wrap around balcony depicted in the room pictures. The receptionist argued that there were no such pictures in the room description. I should her copies of my reservations and asked her to go on their website to verify the pictures. Upon the receptionist viewing the images she apologized and stated there was only one room in the hotel with a wrap around balcony. The only reason I booked two premium rooms in this hotel was to be able to sit out on the balcony and relax after a long a day. I asked to speak to a manger. The receptionist stated there was no manger on site but provided with a phone number to the manager. I called and left a message. I went out for the day upon arrive the AC was not working again for the second time. I had to go back down to the lobby for the receptionist to activate the AC. Again, I requested to speak to manager. The receptionist reached out to the manager and left the manager a message to contact me. When the manager contacted me I expressed to her that the ONLY reason I booked the hotel was for the balcony overlooking a small park. Again I was advised they only had one premium room with a wrap around balcony. I alerted the manager that One Shot was misrepresenting the premium rooms by displaying photos of a wrap around balcony. The manager apologized for the inconvenience and stated that she would advise the marketing department of the images displayed. I asked for a discount because I felt I was paying a premium price but not receiving what One Shot portrayed in their Premium room images. I must be honest, the bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. The bathroom was showing it's age with the wallpaper peeling. My wife had a difficult time putting on her make up with the poor lighting over the vanity. Hotel is out of the main centre so is quiet but still within walking distance of most attractions such as the Prado Museum or City centre. Room was quiet with a nice big bed that was not two samller ones pushed together thankfully. Decor is modern and pleasant with reasonable amount of wardrobe space and a room safe. Staff were pleasant but we didn't have much interaction apart from check in/out. The only real complaint is that the sink in bathroom was virtually unusable due to ridiculous tap arrangement. Access to the sink was restricted by an overly long and non-moving tap spout right over the centre, which meant it was impossible to wash your face without splashing water everywhere - a very poor design.

Great location; easy access to lots of places to eat. Near the train station. The flat is very clean, spacious and bright. The patio opens to the streets - we enjoyed the view from the balcony. It's a quiet building. Keyless entry which is very convenient.

I was really looking forward to staying here, but was shocked to find out it was under major renovation when I arrived. It was never mentioned on the website or in any reviews. I actually walked past it, thinking it was being taken down and couldn’t possibly be the hotel. The staff were really understanding and were kind enough to find me another hotel, as I didn’t have time to find an alternative. From what I saw the room looked nice. Such a pity about the construction, which is from 8am-6pm.

I have stayed in this hotel 4 nights with a great experience and this was my first time in Spain. Had a pleasant welcome with the reception and was very easy and welcome check in with a great smile from staff at front desk. Rooms are very nice with average size but you will be happy with the space Breakfast was good and food was extremely tasty with very good service from staff as well Very nice and easy check out with a smile of good bye
