Astoria Hotels Madurai ★★★
"First Hotel is good, room is good and well maintain but bathroom was not good, there was a some smell in bathroom, towel was not white it's with yellow shade so can say that it was not wash properly Secondly I'm a business traveler, travelling across the country for 18 days, as we are going to open a branch at Madurai, I was there for two nights only, booked via mail, first after mail they have asked for advance so have paid Rs 1000.00 when have check is they have asked for balance payment, they have not treat me as business traveler, in fact I'm supposed to tie up with them so every month we are going to stay there plus we can use their conference hall etc.. but manager was not listen to my voice very rude, pressuring me for full payment immediately after check in, then finally have paid Rs 2000, so total paid Rs 3000 i.e 50% so my advise to business traveler avoid this hotel, there are many other good hotels are in Madurai, where you can stay and book hotel via phone / mail no advance, and you can tie up with them if you want to go on a regular basis, have tied up with another hotel, I'm travelling across the country and book my hotels via phone / mail no body is asking for any Rs in advance, Secondlly lots of mosquito are in room, and many insect are at reception area also, See the game if you are not going to check your bill while check out, when have checked out in bill they have shown onlly Rs 2000 as a advance instead of Rs 3000. suppsed if have not checked then ??? so this is cheating with passengers, So my experience is not good, because of their rude behavior"
Fortune Pandiyan Hotel, Madurai - Member ITC Hotels' Group ★★★

Amika Hotel,Madurai - Near Airport
"Near to airport but outskirts of Madurai city. New and decent size rooms, all necessary amenities available. Staff at reception friendly and helpful. Reaustrant staff also friendly. However, menu can be improved and taste of North Indian dishes needs improvement. Overall good experience."
Hotel Weshtern Park

Rio Grande Residency
"Location is bad. Staff is very discourteous. Rooms are not well maintained. Restaurant service is lousy"
Hotel President
"Good atomsphere Good service Barani service good"
Viswa Residency by Azalea
"First of all, the hotel is a service apartment, and when you arrive, everything looks terrible: rooms are stinky, beds are dirty, towels are dirty, bathroom isn't properly cleaned, and there is a terrible smell. In the area surrounding the hotel, there is a lot of empty space, which attracts mosquitoes. Also, the car parking inside the hotel is limited to 3 cars, so if you are the fourth or fifth person, you should park your car on the street."
Avenue 11 Premium Stays Madurai
"I had a delightful stay at Avenue 11 Premium Stays in Madurai. The overall experience was fantastic, with good food and comfortable accommodations. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, promptly meeting our needs. The hotel's prime location made it easy to explore the city, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers."
Sterling V Grand Madurai
"Not clean enough washroom had stains Staffs were very friendly and welcoming Food and services was very late Location is not right on the center but close by"
Cosmopolitan Hotel
"We stayed at Cosmopolitan Hotel Madurai on 1st November 2025. Our stay was just for one night. We reached the hotel at around 7:30pm and after visiting Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi We were allocated 326, 3327. The rooms were of same size and design. The bath room was also decent size with washbasin, WC and Shower area. The bed was not very comfortable. The room also had a small table with two chairs and TV. Though we never watched TV. The Bathroom had no amenities like, Toothbrush, toothpaste, comb etc. The food at restaurant was very bad. We had only dinner. For dinner we had both veg and non-veg Fried Rice. The bad points are: When we checked in, we were never served welcome drinks. When we asked about the same in evening after our visit to Meenakshi Amman Temple then we were served the Welcome drinks. The service in the restaurant was very poor. Whenever we order some food items it would take ages to served. Sometime we had to request for 3-4 times. May there are less staff or they are not efficient. In the heydays of the hotel, it seems to be an excellent hotel but with time and no maintenance it is gone now. The only good thing about the hotel is that the back door directly opens on the Madurai Junction Railway station. Anyhow, our stay was ok, and would avoid Cosmopolitan Hotel Madurai in feature."
Hotel Sabarees Residency
"Near to temple that only one + point. Rooms are dirty, no hot water, dirty water is coming form tab."
Avea Accommodation
"Location & room was good.there was an issue with the AC vents, swing was not working ,since the swing motor was not working, AC was right above the bed and chill air was blowing directly on our head, not able to control it."
