We had googled our way to the fact that the Hilton Mainz has a very good location right down to the Rhine and you can purchase access to the hotel's ”Executive Lounge”. We booked 5 nights and we were ready for a little vacation by the Rhine. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were quickly and efficiently checked in by Mrs. Blanco Flores, who upgraded us to a room with a view of the Rhine. Mrs. Flores made us aware, that the ”Executive Lounge” was unfortunately not that big, but we had to see that with our ”own eyes”. Really good service was provided upon check-in, and our expectations for the stay at the hotel became greater. The room we had been allocated was on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Rhine. We had booked a room with breakfast, so we were excited to see, how the breakfast buffet was. But we were very pleasantly surprised there 😊.. There was a reasonably large selection of various breads and hot items, so it was just a matter of getting started with breakfast. The hotel allows you to sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Rhine, and watch the people walking and cycling past. We were very lucky with the weather, so breakfast was enjoyed for a little longer time than usual. After breakfast, we went up and see how the ”Executive Lounge” was. But unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. The ”Executive Lounge” consists of 2 small rooms, where there were 3 tables in each room, and 3 people could sit at each table. When we got outside the time when alcoholic drinks are served, we could see that you could have a cup of coffee or an apollinaris. The snacks on display looked a bit boring, and the fruit wasn't of the best quality either. But cheer up, it could be good in the evening... But when we visited the ”Executive Lounge” in the evening, beer, wine and spirits were on display - but the snacks that were also on display didn't seem particularly inviting - so we didn't take any of them. Summary of our experience of the ”Executive Lounge” is that it is not necessary to purchase access to the ”Executive Lounge”. And we can only encourage hotel management to go on a study trip to Düsseldorf or Dresden, where we have experienced what an ”Executive Lounge” should really be like. In general, the level of service is very high, and the staff a super good service at the hotel 😊... Here we have to highlight in particular: Mrs. Flores from the reception, Heike from the breakfast restaurant and Brittany from Guest Relations. They gave us a really good service during our stay. In summary, we would give the hotel 4 stars out of 5. If the hotel should have had the last star, the ”Executive Lounge” must be upgraded with better rooms. (Could space be created for a small area down in the restaurant area, so that you also have the opportunity to sit outside on the warm summer evenings. We would like to come again at another time to enjoy the good location and super service 😊..

Got upgraded as frequent Accor Hotel user. Privilege room is very nice, overlooking a small park, quiet neighbourhood, queen bed, tremendous shower, & good lighting. 2 blocks from main train station in Mainz, which is a beautiful city. Nice towels & bedding as well as soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner dispensers. Room is reasonably quiet but with a little bit of traffic noise when windows open. Gift of 2 free drinks on check-in for my wife & I, which was a very nice touch. Also in easy walking distance of old town & many museums & cathedrals - many of which are pedestrian only streets also filled restaurants, bars & shops. Downside - only 1 English TV station (France 24) despite listing BBC, CNN, etc that actually have no signal. TV is small (much smaller & fewer stations than Mercure in Frankfurt). Advised safe not working on Saturday check-in at 3 PM, but never fixed before we left on Tuesday (although Monday was holiday). No light at inside front door. Coffee cups are too tall to fit under Krups machine & no milk (even powdered). Fridge is truly tiny & doesn’t keep anything cold. Small bar & restaurant only open for breakfast (€20 each). Location great, room nice & staff friendly so would stay again despite disappointments.

Intercity hotel It is very close to Mainz Hbf, only 3 minutes away. Come out from the door of platform 8, 11, 13 in the station, follow the road where the taxi comes in and go right, pass a tram track, opposite the hotel. The breakfast was very rich, the photos on the wall of the hotel were full of art, the service staff were warm and thoughtful, and there was a free city tour card. It was very comfortable to live here and will come again.
Easy vibes is exactly what we want to express with our Holiday Inn - the niu, Mood Mainz: good mood and joie de vivre. The location near the main train station and the close proximity to the city center makes our Holiday Inn - the niu, Mood Mainz the ideal starting point for activities in the city. In the meantime you can leave your car (for a fee) in the hotel parking lot or in the underground garage. The hub for everyone is our open lobby: cozy sitting area with newspapers, 24-hour reception and 24-hour bar, co-working space - it's all in one and we welcome you warmly. In the morning breakfast is served from the buffet of course, so that everyone can start the day the way he or she likes it best. In the evening we recommend relaxing in the hotel's sauna.99 of our 279 rooms aree equipped with their own pantry with microwave, refrigerator and sink. Here you are independent - practical with small children or if you are staying longer in Mainz. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with safe, soundproof windows that can be opened, flat-screen TV with Bluetooth box and screen mirroring. High-speed WiFi is available throughout the property free of charge. We are happy to set up an extra bed or baby crib. If you prefer an extra quiet night's sleep choose one of our rooms facing the Old Jewish Cemetery - the oldest Jewish cemetery in Europe

The hotel has plenty of promise but it didn't really meet my expectations I chose the hotel specifically for its underground parking as it's quite some way out of the city centre, and so not somewhere I'd recommend if you didn't have car. When I got there I was told the underground parking was closed for maintenance, and I could park on the street, which at that time of day was impossible. It was only when I pushed the issue they said I could park in the little open air car park at the rear, which was still 15 EUR per day. The room they allocated me had a loud whining noise coming from the bathroom, and would have prevented me sleeping, and when I went to ask for a new room they didn't seem to believe me but then took ages to allocate me a new room. No idea why. One of the nice features of the hotel is if you choose to not have your room cleaned you get a token for a free drink at the bar. The first time I went to claim my drink the bar was closed as they were checking in lots of people, so can only assume were short staffed. The next night there seemed to be a single girl manning both the bar and the front desk and she couldn't cope (not her fault) so I just gave my token to a random guy as I wasn't prepared to wait so long for a free beer. On the positive side they were really helpful when I was stupid enough to drop a bottle of beer in the car park when unpacking my car, and they cleaned it up for me without any fuss. I would recommend staying as close to the centre of the hotel as I was at the far end (315) and the WiFi was very poor, and so had to tether my laptop to my phone. One really nice touch was the room had a bluetooth soundbar so you could play your music on your phone in the room. This was a really nice touch. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I probably would not stay there again, and definitely not if I didn't have a car.

We were there in September this year for 5 days, Given our food at night as we were booked for evening meal. This hotel was not prepared for any of this never mind 50 guests, The food served to us was obviously brought in cooked and was inedible. Lovely for one night as a stop over but living out of a suitcase as no wardrobes or drawers. Situated in the middle of an industrial estate with nothing near. As we were on a tours during the day we did not have transport to go out at night. Therefore very boring. As most of the tour party were older people we were unable to walk down to the town which was about a half hour for someone who is able bodied. Drink sold in cans. One day we came back and ordered a cup of coffee and they had run out. Very disappointed. Not fully the hotels fault but our coach tours is liable to give us what we were promised.

The hotel breakfast is praised, and the blueberry freedom and yogurt freedom are realized.
However, the facilities of foreign hotels are indeed not as good as those of domestic hotels, and there are even no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

GGuest UserIt’s about 3 minutes away from Mainz Central Station. It’s easy to go to any attractions. The breakfast buffet is very rich. The bathroom does not have a door. It would be inconvenient if you have friends living with you. I’m here to watch the football game. It’s a very happy journey. Come Mainz will definitely stay again.
GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable and spacious. We were staying in the separate building (some hundred meters), so not very comfortable for breakfast and pool, which are in the main building. who busy the room. Unfortunately as always the moquettes and tapehouse furniture do not leave any room. Another small signal: the water of the pool a little cold. extremely good breakfast. extremely kind staff.
GGuest UserGreat location, right across from Mainz Hbf. Stayed here to watch Bayern vs. Mainz 05 for one night and this hotel was perfect for this. The room is not large and felt a bit dark, the hotel entrance was not easy to spot. The staff were very friendly. The price for what we were looking for was good.
GGuest UserThere is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and opposite. It was about two stops with half hop, so it was easy to move the carrier. It takes about 7 minutes to walk. The room was clean and meticulous every day, so I felt good when I went out and came back.
I used a three-person room, but it was a small bed, but I came to rest comfortably with a private bed. The front desk staff were always very friendly!
CClimber53993770610We had a lovely few days in Mainz, we really enjoyed our stay in your Parkhotel. I was able to get my wife excited about this hotel, which I usually go to alone on business. There is now a new spa area with a sauna, a steam sauna and an infrared sauna. There is also another sauna, a fitness area and a jacuzzi on the wonderful roof terrace, it is wonderful to lie in the warm water and look up at the starry sky. The breakfast was, as always, perfect and comprehensive, which is one of the many reasons why this hotel is my favourite in Mainz. It is beautifully situated in a very well-kept park area, the view of the Rhine and the city of Mainz invites you to linger and relax. The rooms facing the park have a balcony. All the staff are professional and friendly. This time we also enjoyed a massage, it was a wonderful wellness holiday.
JJINGNANThere are quite a lot of people, and the front desk efficiency is OK. If you want to take a taxi in the morning, you must make an appointment in advance, otherwise you have to wait a long time
Unfortunately, we were not the only ones who wanted to visit Mainz that weekend. It was packed and the hotels were well chosen. The location to the city center is good, especially as you can get to the promenade quickly. Unfortunately, our room was near the elevator and the two streets, where the traffic was clearly audible despite the windows being closed. The rooms have been renovated, the bathrooms are new, bright and clean. The shower is large, unfortunately with a shower curtain (not so dirty yet). Small TV, but sufficient due to the distance from the bed. Beds are rather hard but still comfortable. All in all, clean. The service was OK. Parking is possible in the nearby public parking garage and costs 10 euros per day.
GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel for a weekend. Our family room was ok: surprisingly spacious, quite comfortable beds. But it smells muffy (also wasn't getting out with airports). Despite closed window, you can hear the traffic noise from the Landstraße and the motorway that pass directly by the hotel. The bathroom was in a limited condition: extremely renewable, flat washing basin, flat shower, toilet, which would have to be replaced and very unpleasant smell. Also breakfast was extremely easy, the tables in the breakfast room were smooth and with EUR 13 per person the breakfast is definitely overpaid. We were now 2x in this hotel, but this time was definitely the last time!
GGuest UserAvailable well walking from the main railway station - Location in a quiet residential area (new city) – Supermarkets and bakers near – to the city centre and the Rhine About 15 minutes – Very pleasant: the room cut, quadrant with pleasant living feel - Mobiliar has come into the years, but very comfortable mattress and good TV – Bad with towels, shower gel and soap very clean; Fen available – Internet mostly stable – Personal is very friendly – Check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in and check in Check out quickly and easy – A good price-performance ratio at my booking price – Please return!
