The place was clean, and the view next to the Rhine river was nice. However, the workers didn't speak English well, but they managed to assist me. A good stay in general

The hotel was great except for the limited time to use the panorama salon which was only for breakfast. It has an amazing view but only available until 10 am. Apparently it makes too much noise for those on the floor below. What a waste of space as it is stunning. It would be nice to be able to get some food or drink at your hotel.

This is a re-furbished property and the staff are professional and helpful. But facilities are very minimal - no aircon, fridge etc - only the base basics.

I stayed in this hotel on Sunday 11th Unfortunately I left some expensive underwear which I had washed out on the towel rail in the bathroom. Over the next two days,I phoned over 10 times: 6 to no answer from reception and 4 times to speak to different people who told me to phone back The last call was cut off in the middle of me speaking. I was told that there was no manager or duty manager and that housekeeping hadn't handed anything in to reception and that was that!!!!! No apology, no attempt to check with housekeeping, no return call to me to explain. A rude, unpleasant experience that was typical of a mean and nasty hotel.

Um es kurz zu machen: Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in jedem Fall eine Empfehlung. Sauberes Zimmer, Bett ok. Zwar an einer Hauptverkehrstraße (mit Blick auf den Main), aber am frühen Morgen hab ich einfach das Fenster geschlossen und gut war's. Allerdings wäre mir das Zimmerchen bei einem längeren Aufenthalt doch etwas zu beengt. Ein richtiges Raumgefühl mag hier nicht aufkommen. Aber wer hier einkehrt, sollte sich das Frühstück gönnen. Das ist zwar kulinarisch ohne Besonderheiten am Buffet, dafür aber mit einem atemberaubenden Rundum-Blick über Mainz und sogar nach Wiesbaden. Service: Rundum freundliche, unaufdringliche Aufmerksamkeit.

Leider waren wir an dem Wochenende nicht die Einzigen wohl, die Mainz besuchen wollten. Es war brechend voll und die Hotels ausgesucht. Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist gut, zumal man schnell an der Promenade ist. Leider war unser Zimmer in der Nähe des Aufzuges plus der beiden Straßen, wo der Verkehr trotz geschlossener Fenster deutlich hörbar war. Die Zimmer sind renoviert, die Bäder neu, hell und sauber. Die Dusche ist groß, leider mit Duschvorhang ( noch nicht so schmuddelig). Kleiner Fernseher, der aber aufgrund des Abstandes zum Bett reicht. Betten sind eher hart aber noch bequem. Alles in allem sauber. Der Service war ok. Das Parken ist im nahegelegenen öffentlichen Parkhaus möglich und kostet 10 Euro pro Tag.

Van buiten is het er niet aan af te zien maar van binnen is dit een keurig netjes, rustig en degelijk hotel. Bovendien ook goed te betalen. Kamers zijn recent gerenoveerd en zijn schoon en keurig. Ontbijt is zeer rijkelijk in een ruimte waar je een fraai panorama hebt over de hele stad. Aanrader!
