The hotel room is clean. The hotel comes with a decent swimming room for the guest to enjoy. Car park is free for customers provided you get the ticket validated at the counter at the lobby. My 1st stay was few years ago and this is my 2nd second. Very pleasant stay. Keep it up

Everything average, too calculative even extra tower need charges. Water heater not stable

Tips: Opt for room type suites with balcony and facing Sungai Melaka for spacious and best view. Pros: Fast check-in & check-out. Room is clean. Free covered parking. Spacious bathroom with bath tub. Free wifi but signal not that strong. Extensive no of tv channels minus the sports channel. Air condition works well. Cons: Its layout makes the premier room looks cramped. Faulty refrigerator; not cooling. No in-room ironing & board. Confusing facilities signages; lift, stairs. Small pools and gym.

We stayed at The Pines during our short family trip to Melaka. Pleasant stay

first time staying here, area was great.. near to the windmill event and nice river view. breakfast can be improved and i suggest add on more breakfast choices.

This was 2nd time we stayed at The Pines and decided to book premium room with breakfast. Breakfast at Oak was simple local and some western dishes. Average in taste and choices. Room was not spacious as the bathroom too half of the room space & came with a Big bathtub facing Melaka city view. Cleaning needed to be done on those tight spaces behind sink and toilet bowl cover. Air con too cold even after we adjusted and at 4am, Aircon shut off on Its own. So we on it again. Our room was on the 27 th floor so we had a nice view of Melaka city. Location is not an issue if you have car to move about.

My first time here.., Room is beautiful, clean and cozy and really big, staff are ok, but the breakfast isn’t that great and can be improved further..

This hotel not really located at the heart of Kota Melaka but its view is very mesmerizing next to Sungai Melaka. From my room at 17th, could see almost whole Melaka township. The most fascinating is the view of Kampung Morten and the fantastic led color along the river. Also it is only walking distance to the river walk and there's pedestrian bridge cross to Kampung Morten. In term of service, we were quite devastated amid no one greet us upon reaching to the lobby entrance. I have to pull luggage trolley by myself. Upon check in, again it came to my surprise as I was told that my room yet to ready amid 5pm. Things changed when the young lady (guess an intern or newly hired) manage to get things done. The 'bell boy' eventually was another young lady. We felt sorry and empathy that supposedly as a man I should have pull the luggage trolley. I guess majority of hotel staffs were ladies including in dining service. Oh not to mention this hotel provide RM10 F&B credit per day. Overall breakfast is fine although not many choices. Swimming pool is huge and have a great view. We can see sunset from here. Our room quite huge as compare to other hotels that we have been go. Complete with dining table, kitchen cabinet and kitchen sink. Ample space to perform solah. It just a matter we dislike room with tiles or room without carpet. It could be freezing and annoying. Overall we would rate 4/5

Very spacious, modern design and brand new. Best location. Nice sceneries. Friendly staffs. Lots of parking space and convenience. Housekeeping team needs to clean/wash the floor around the toilet bowl. Maybe the previous tenant peed by standing and the pee splashed on to the floor next to the toilet bowl causing unpleasant smell. Breakfast very simple compared to the 4 star rating.Need to upgrade. In general, the hotel worth my spending.

The staff are friendly. The breakfast is nice. The view is nice too. The walk along the river next to the hotel at night was a beautiful experience.

It was a business and family trip. I liked the location to get to Melaka River Cruise and nearby bridge to cross yo Kg Morten. Easy to get food especially for dinner. Parking is ample at the connected multi storey car park within the hotel building. The premier room was good with a big bathroom with bathtub facing the window. The sink and counter top is good to bring food. Since the bathroom has taken up a big space..the room is a little bit cramped if you have stroller and big luggage bag but there are a lot of cabinets to put your things. The food for breakfast is a little disappointing as it is a small selection in comparison with the price if you need to add breakfast and they were no pastries, for 2 days the sambal nasi lemak was overcooked.

Had been here several time.. The room is very big.. Staff are friendly n very helpful..
