Hygiene: The most important thing for hotels in this price range in Madai is cleanliness. This one is very good. The room itself is relatively small, but very clean. The bathroom is particularly clean and there is no odor. This alone is worth the price of admission. Service: For a hotel, the second most important thing is the convenience of transfer. Inform your next destination when you check in, and the hotel will take the initiative to contact you for pick-up and drop-off. And the hotel itself is on the artificial main stage, very close. You need to return to the airport island from here to transfer water and speedboat, and you will be there in 10 minutes. Taking the initiative to carry luggage and so on is considered a standard feature of Maldives. What was beyond expectation was that the breakfast area was small but had an unparalleled view. Living on the 8th floor, having breakfast on the 9th floor, all with direct sea views. The flocks of pigeons downstairs are definitely an unforgettable memory. A hotel worth passing by again.

From the second we got there - we were treated amazingly! From the check in process to the room to everything in between - the start of our honeymoon couldn’t be more spectacular. First the service - very attentive and helpful, and they had all these special treats for us because it was our honeymoon. Second the room - feels like a NY high rise but every inch was meticulously planned with a balcony and ocean view - it was the best. The front staff are very helpful, we got to explore the capital a bit before leaving which was a great experience - such a rich culture! The food was amazing as well - the dinner was so tasty, and the buffet breakfast included was phenomenal. We can’t say enough good things about this place. 10/10!!

We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel is right next to the beach, gorgeous sea view from the room. The hotel staff Amy, was friendly and ever ready to give the best recommendation for a few hour walk in male, from shopping to where to shop for souvenirs and she also recommended us to take a short ferry to villemale which only cost less than $1 to and fro from Male jetty to the island. Great advice that just keep our time worth staying in Amber beach hotel.

advantage: The price is cheap, the location is excellent, not far from the airport, there is a free pick-up and drop-off, including breakfast. The staff are very enthusiastic, and they are very professional about the time to go to the airport and go to the island the next day. Satisfied with the service. The best thing is that the blue sea is at the entrance of the hotel, and the water will fly by for a while. There are domestic sockets in the room, which is convenient. shortcoming: The room is slightly small with simple facilities. Of course, at this price, these are not problems. Overall, our stay was unpleasant. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out. When we entered the hotel they essentially made us feel that we were unwelcomed. No smile, no hello, nothing! I have never experienced this level of hospitality in my lifetime. Room size We had booked a ”Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View” (booked almost 1.5 months before) and it was supposed to be one of the best rooms in this hotel (2nd best to be precise). The room was tiny and couldn't even accommodate our luggage. Bed size It was supposed to be a ”large double bed” but it was tiny that we couldn't sleep well. We had 5 years old - already mentioned while booking. They could have simply rejected our booking by saying that the bed would not accommodate a kid. Bathroom and accessories It was again very small. There was nothing. No hand towel, soap, toothbrush, or sleepers. There was a shower gel and a shampoo. And some tiny lizards in the bathroom which was scary for my kid to use the washroom. I must mention that one of the staff was helpful in getting rid of one of those lizards we encountered and I had to shoo the rest of them away by myself. Pricing on Booking.com We paid 336$ for two nights on booking dot com and expected better rooms and services but the actual room cost which I got to know at the hotel was only 80$/night which explains why the services were not great. Booking dot com definitely fleeced us. You can directly reach out to the hotel to book the room if you're interested. Also, we had planned to spend two days in the city to explore after spending a few days on a private island. Though one day was enough to explore the city! Overall, it is a 2-star hotel and not recommended for a family. Good for solo travellers for a short stay (not more than a night). I would not recommend this hotel to a couple! The only positives were the sea view from the room and the location.

We recently stayed at Saii Lagoon, and I can't say enough about this place. The property is simply wonderful, and the staff is exceptional. Had such a wonderful relaxing time, beautiful rooms and luxurious bed linen. Friendly service and laid back vibe! Ideal if you want somewhere relaxing. It has really been a wonderful and unforgettable experience especially to the following staff Areef - Housekeeping - Absolute Top guy with heart and manners Kanna & Sandy - in Thai Restauarant -Kinkao - Providing Top Notch Service Anil - Olive oil (Breakfast) - Chef who made us indian food of highest Quality at Short Notice RED - In Front Reception - Very Patient, Polite and Helpful Vicky- You dropped us off on our last day to the Boat area, with superb coordination with the Reception staff and your support during our stay was greatly appreciated. Alisha - in Pool Bar area /Pizza Place - Such a wonderful and Helpful Service. AND Ismail / Isse - Reception - WHAT can I say ? I forgot one of my Main Meds at home (London) - Within minutes , YOU (Ismail/Isse ) had it all covered. This guy went to Male , got the Medicine, handed it to his colleague who was coming to evening shift to the Hotel and within very short space of time - I had my Medicine - Absoulte TOP MAN and anybody who I have forgotten, you were ALL great- Hope to be back soon

The water house is really good, the room facilities and services are top-notch. There is a piece of glass on the floor inside the room to see the sea below. Each water house has a small pool of infinity, perfect for taking pictures. The sea is also very clear, there are many coral reefs, and there are many fish. You can see a lot from the room, and the snorkeling equipment hotel is free. The beach here seems to be very good, but it is a pity that I only stayed for one night and didn't go. There are two restaurants on the island, one Japanese restaurant needs an appointment, the other western restaurant does not need to make an appointment, and the production is not bad, but it is relatively simple, basically a main course of 20-30 dollars. Reservations are available as early as possible, and other meals can be ordered at the restaurant. Breakfast must be praised, the butler can be sent to the room, sitting on the terrace looking at the beautiful sea, leisurely to eat. There are many stars in the evening, very beautiful. Overall, an island with good value for money, not far from Male, the airport transportation fee of 130 dollars a room is slightly more expensive. The island is relatively small. After walking for 15 minutes, it is recommended to play for 2-3 days. It is boring to live again. The island is beautiful.

...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars. What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived at the airport we were so welcome by so the staff. The resort itself is beautiful and kept really well. This is high quality resort with a very personalised touch. Shohel, our house keeper, made such a difference and was very courteous and thoughtful. We stayed for our anniversary and was met with such a beautiful display. The room was quite spacious as we stayed in an overwater villa and was quite private. The beautiful reefs are worth exploring. All the activities in the resort are so much fun and the staff make it much more enjoyable filling in any knowledge gaps and answering any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying as we’ve decided we’d love to come back in the future.
