"Beautiful location for dinner. Good menu, food very tasty. Staff lovely. The pool looked great -if we had discovered this gem before our last day we would have returned. Drink and desserts also as tasty as the main courses. Peaceful and easy to get to."

"This is not a 5 star hotel and does not even compete with 4 star Greek ones we have visited. We are 2 families of 8 with kids 8, 15, 18 & 20. We booked 3 rooms and this review is from all of us who thought the same. We know it’s school hols but have never seen a resort this heaving and crowded and we’ve always travelled in school holidays. This is a young family hotel. Would not say suitable for couples. Went to change them end of day 3 to be rudely shouted at that we cannot change them as it’s 3 day rule and we’ve only been here a day which was wrong! Eventually was allowed but such rude staff and stupid rule! - [ ] Rooms small - [ ] Hardly any storage, no chest of drawers or units just a wardrobe with not much room - [ ] Bathrooms very cramped and sweaty - [ ] Mirrors steam so you can’t see a thing after shower - [ ] Shower floods bathroom floor (Leak came from under the tray when you turn the shower off, Same in all 3 rooms) - [ ] If tall sitting on toilet is hard as your legs hit sink - [ ] Dirty marks on shower trays - [ ] Towels sometimes not changed even if left wet on floor and sometimes dirty towels left in our shower tray after room cleaned - [ ] Bed sheets and covers not changed once in 7 days - disgusting! - [ ] Mini bar - given a couple of bottles of water on first day, sandwiches as arrived late and 4 cans - never re stocked and leftover sandwiches/plates never taken away for whole 7 days. We asked for more water and about mini bar to be told it’s a mini fridge not a mini bar and no we can’t have any more not even water. To fill bottle up at water stations at dinner but the staff told us we were not allowed too and the water tasted awful! - [ ] Hardly any staff - [ ] Staff barely look at you and smile - [ ] First Greek hotel to not show you to a table at dinner or ever give you coffee at your table at breakfast - [ ] Buffet food not the best and repetitive - cold bolognese, food ran out quick and not replenished quickly none of us enjoyed it. Curry night the food was full of salt! - [ ] Tables/plates not cleared quickly at any meals due to lack of staff - [ ] Dirty floors in and outside at buffet not cleaned - [ ] Never seen a cleaner anywhere in grounds the"

"Lovely hotel, clean team Cody with fresh towels, comfortable loungers by the pool, pool was always spotless. Buffet food was a good standard but did get a bit repetitive. Limited entertainment but we wanted a quiet holiday. Tip if you want to get the bus into Chania the best way is to go behind the hotel their is lane/ally that lead to the main road the bus top is opposite a mini supermarket"

"The hotel is 2.5 hours from Heraklion (airport) at night and almost 4 hours during the day. Food: all the hot dishes were cold, even if you arrived right at the start. The special items were gone after just an hour and weren't replenished. There's only one open bar in the restaurant. The lobby only has space for about 15 people. There's a bar there that isn't staffed and only serves as decoration. Drinks from the bar aren't allowed in the rooms. All-inclusive included beer, wine, and raki. Because of the bar in the restaurant, you had to get your drinks yourself in a plastic cup, even in the rain. The beach across the road was so-so; we didn't go there. There was a pool, which looked clean, but we didn't use it. The town is very small. Long walks on the beach aren't possible. It's recommended to rent a car in town. The supermarket is only a 4-minute walk away. The rooms were small but clean. The restaurant area was also clean. Since there wasn't enough space for all hotel guests, on some days you had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. Service in the restaurant area and in the room was very friendly and dedicated."

"Room 305 excellent view of of pool/ sea, aircon in living area and sleeping area same with tv's all in with price no underhand extra costs when you get there. Safe also at no extra cost, family run with all the normal greek hospitality, housekeeping exelent with plenty of sheet and towels changes, big balcony, everything you need in kitchen area. Good bus service a short walk from sunny Suites, car hire also a short walk away, 10 minute walk to sea. All in all great value for money. "

"We stayed for one week in a Superior Studio at Ledra Maleme and were extremely satisfied with our stay. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Our room was spotless, comfortable and in excellent condition. The kitchenette was a great addition during our stay. The location is excellent. Everything we needed was within a short walking distance, including the Synka supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, and bus stop. It is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area and western Crete. Really good value for the money and really quiet. The breakfast was Mediterranean-style and good. It was not an extensive buffet, but it offered a sufficient selection and was a pleasant way to start the day. We had breakfast at the hotel on our first morning. Since our room included a kitchen, we prepared many of our own breakfasts during the rest of our stay. The pool area was clean, comfortable, and very enjoyable. It provided a relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to unwind during the day. A special thanks to the staff, who were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Ledra Maleme to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Crete."

"Super accommodation. Clean and spacious. Great view from the balcony of our room (room 14) looking out over the Med. Not too hot on the balcony either. Air con was very efficient which is what was needed at that time of the year. Comfy big bed. Friendly owner (Sophia) and staff."

Nektaria, the incredibly friendly and caring host, made us want to move in permanently :) Our trip with two children was a huge success, largely thanks to Nektaria's valuable advice and help. The hotel's location is excellent. There are several wonderful restaurants, a supermarket, and a children's playground nearby. The beach is less than a 4-minute leisurely walk away.
