The hotel was clean, the food was good and the beach was very nice. The people working there were great and very helpfull. The cleaning ladies, receptionists, masseuse, waiters, security and barmen were very warm and hospital people. They made my time there even a better experience. Special shoutout to the barmen Giorgos en Vasillis. These guys were really awesome and made me feel like I was at home. This is the first hotel i would consider returning to in the future. All peace and love.

The setting is idyllic and having the sea 50 meters away was great BUT rotten room with random hot water depending on the whim of the plumbing. Despite having informed the concierge, they told me that I had to let it run for 5 minutes before it happened. So out of 8 days, we lost 3 days without hot water. I was delighted. And then, no curtains on the bedroom door, which meant that the sunlight woke us up at 6:30 in the morning!!! Practical if you don't wake up!!! And then invaded by ants!!! The horror!!!! On the TV only one barely functional channel: BFM News. So it was never turned on. Luckily we had wifi. Oh!!! This area is famous for its party outings, so it's impossible to sleep with all the noise at any time of the day or night!!! Apart from these inconveniences, the island of Crete has a lot to offer with a beautiful, sad and moving history (see its past). Next time I will return to at least a 4 star hotel. Have a good trip all the same!!!! And fortunately there is air conditioning otherwise the horror!!!

Wij hebben echt genoten van onze vakantie bij Hotel resorts High Beach. Iedere dag een schone kamer , vriendelijk personeel en volop keuze van eten. All inclusive geboekt. Ook de cocktailbar bij het strand verdient een dikke pluim.
