I stayed in Stalis for a week in May this year, i normally stay in Malia. I found i spent half of my week at Charlies bar, Taxi's are easy to get @ 10 Euro's. Nikos, family and staff are always welcoming and can never do enough for you even if only visiting, the food is great especially the BBQ at the weekend including a Greek night included, so don't miss this event. Charlies bar has great cocktails, karaoke twice a week, nights for watching football, and there is always music on, never a dull moment. As a solo visitor or holiday resident i feel very safe at Kastro's & Charlies Bar so always enjoyed my stay and come home with lots of memories. See you in August for a longer stay

The perfect place as a base for having a brilliant holiday. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Facilities are clean and of a good standard. Food is excellent and the barbecue nights are not to be missed. Would definitely come back.

What can I say the hotel is fantastic staff and the family beautiful people very good for my disabled dad.food was great would definitely return thanks for the good time guys 👍👍 & very clean 😀 very close to the beach and the malia *****. Old malia was beautiful a must see. Couldn’t fault all the family/ staff we will be back xx

Never felt so welcomed on a holiday ever!!! especially as me and my friends are a bunch of teenagers we thought an immediate dislike would’ve been taken as they expect there to be trouble WAS DEFINITELY NOT THE CASE !!! Food amazing such a wide variety to choose from and very decently priced. Loved the atmosphere of Charlie’s Bar especially in the evening, Karaoke makes everyone seem more includes, other hotels should take not. Perfect location, shops everywhere, beach just outside. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!!

This is certainly now one of my favorite places great for couples & groups who love a party with great food great staff & some top tunes.by nico on the decks in Charlie's bar the place is spotless the staff really look after u it certainly a party place into the early hours with the clubs & pubs of Malia just a few minutes walk also to the beach just 3 mins walk the roof terrace is also fantastic on Charlie's bar to sip a few cocktails & get the vibes ready to hit town I can't wait to go again as a couple we laughed & drank non stop fantastic place book today for a great time also great pool area with bar & food

Great stay made to feel very welcome from the minute we checked in until the minute we left staff all very hard working friendly always had time to answer any questions or just ask how we was Clean fresh apartment had everything we needed for a base for a SC holiday Excellent value food and drink available from the attached Charlie's bar

Great host . Greeted us on arrival. Staff were very friendly, always acknowledged you were there. Always smiling even though they worked long shifts. Clean apartments. Always ready to please. Hotel has been refurbished and was very impressive. Rooftop relaxation areas. Sports on in pool bar. Good music . Food was great. All cooked to order and delicious. A family run hotel . All in all, for a 63 year old, a great hotel. I hope they have every success with the hotel. They really deserve it.

The hotel was clean and comfortable the pool area is lovely food and drinks at Charlie's bar are good and well priced but the staff are excellent so friendly and make you feel part of the family nikos the owner is a champ when my wife took ill he came to heraklion to pick us up from the hospital and brought us back to malia and couldn't help us enough for the rest of our holiday...thank you

For Charlie's bar only: cocktails are good, nothing to Say. But for food, do not go; the portion/ quantity was ridiculous, a shame that we paid that. And it was not tasty AT all. I only recommend for drinks but run away for food. The waitress was not nice and welcoming compared to the tout.
