Exploreans Beach Club & Villas Watamu
"The hotel is fantastic!!! We absolutely loved it! We initially booked for one day, but then decided to extend it for another day. It's best to buy an all-inclusive package, as the hotel is located far from amenities. But if you're traveling with a group or on your honeymoon, this is perfect. The staff is polite and friendly, the food is delicious, the amenities are excellent, and of course, the price is great. The only thing I might not like is the hot water. It's warm, perfect for showering during the day, but cool in the evening."
Sawa Sawa Beach Hotel & Backpackers
"Nice place with a great ambiance. It’s within walking distance to the beach, and the staff are welcoming and friendly you might even feel like extending your stay because of how pleasant the environment is."
Q Boutique Resort Malindi
"I had a wonderful stay at Q Boutique Resort Malindi and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The resort offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to escape , combining comfort, great service, and a fantastic location"
Diamonds Malindi
"Was a pleasant vacation I had at Diamonds Malindi. The staff were quite friendly, the activities and entertainment were good fun. My wife and I really enjoyed it."
MALINDI SMERALDO BEACH VILLAS
Lion in the Sun Boutique Hotel & Spa
The Lawford Kenya
"A beautiful hotel and grounds but just lacked life. There was no bar or restaurant for service around the pool and for the evening you had to preorder. The beach club attached to the property was a great addition."
Silver Rock Hotel & Beachfront Apartments
"We turned up on spec to see availability and choices for a 2 night, two room stay. Emily was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble showing us four different options from the suites to rooms with and without a/c. Nice clean pool with towels and loungers, saw pool guy dosing the pool. Close to beach from our rooms and easy to locate tut tuts into town (about 400bob). Fridges provided and a kettle. We had an issue with the a/c noise disturbing our neighbours so moved which was no hassle due to not been able to repair. Overall a fabulous stay in January. Would recommend. Excellent choice of Italian restaurants."
Marine Holiday House
"The resort is lovely with spacious rooms, very basic but with a African decor that makes you feel you are in the right place. The restaurant has to be improved because many of the items on the menu aren’t available. Nice pool and ok breakfast, beautiful place."

Villa Ameera Malindi
"The hotel offered no food or drinks, the air conditioning was incredibly noisy (like a tractor), and it was a ten-minute walk to buy a bottle of water in a very remote location. Plus, it didn't support Glovo."
Kenyan House Malindi
"We were so excited and booked and paid with no balances. We loved the pool and the attendant is kind.the ambiance is okay but requires proper maintaining of furniture. However, the carpets and rooms were dusty and the kitchen was worse. The bathrooms were dirty and drainage is wanting and no shower water how can guests complain and get a hard look with their concerns not addressed!! The host needs to do better with the staff or fire and hire professional staff. Generally we were disappointed and didnt feel we got value for our money."
Lions' Luxury Eco Resort & Spa
Billionaire Resort & Retreat
"My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at one of the villas. The staff were fantastic, especially our concierge, Gloria -- their hospitality and good nature made the stay that much better. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Malindi."
The Kasa Malindi - 'Formerly Leopard Point Beach Resort'
"A solid destination in Malindi, and definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for something refined yet relaxed. Food was excellent"
Ocean Beach Resort & Spa
"A beautiful place by the beach. The Spa is modern and well equipped. Great service. The staff are professional. The food is great and a wide variety. It is deal for someone looking for a quiet hide out."
Kilili Baharini Resort & Spa
"Terrible experience. We were robbed in our room at night and received no protection from the hotel. The building itself is beautiful but a bit rundown; the shower doors are old, and the air conditioning is very noisy. The hotel management was arrogant given the bad experience. We felt violated and feared for our children. We were promised an insurance reimbursement, which never arrived. Avoid."
