Margate Beach Club
"In the little sleepy town of Margate, this hotel is a hidden gem. The resort looks new with facilities in excellent condition and each room having its own digital butler. Direct beach access and on site Spa. Staff are very friendly and I would definitely recommend this resort."
First Group la Cote d'Azur
"Beautiful stay cation venue. Despite a mess up in our reservation, the manager went way out to ensure we had a good time. Rooms are clean. Big and spacious and very well equipped. The ocean views are stunning. The pool is heated. The extra facilities like jacuzzi and squash court are chargeable which is disappointing. This venue is a walk to the beach. And close drive to the Spar."
Margate Hotel
"Great location. But the hotel needs a little upgrade. It’s very outdated. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food at Keg was very nice 😊"
Villa Tropicana - South Africa
"From the Drakensberg Mountains, we returned to Margate on the Wild Coast. From the villa, it was only a few minutes to the Indian Ocean, where we were able to spot whales. We had a wonderful view of the ocean from our room."
The Beach Palace Ramsgate
"The Beach Palace Ramsgate We were warmly welcomed by Alida, an exceptional individual who made us feel immediately at home. The property is remarkably spacious and offers a plethora of activities, eliminating the need to venture outside. One of the most notable advantages is direct access to the beach, eliminating the inconvenience of driving. My children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and entertainment area, while the gym catered to our family's fitness enthusiasts. This accommodation surpassed our expectations and provided an exceptional experience. The service was truly outstanding, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay for my family."
Wailana Lodge
"Absolutely amazing experience at Wailana Lodge! The warmest and most welcoming host, Rene, made our stay unforgettable. He is truly one of the nicest people we've ever met in the world. The view from the lodge is simply breathtaking; there's nothing better than enjoying breakfast while gazing at the ocean and watching whales. Rene even provided us with a wonderful binocular to enhance the experience! The coffee was delicious, and the hotel's grounds are delightful, featuring comfortable loungers, a lovely pool, and everything you could possibly need. We would have happily stayed longer if we could! Highly recommend Wai lana Lodge to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!"
First Group Costa Smeralda
"The unit was amazing with awesome views. We enjoyed the facilities. The swimming pool was amazing we really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped it was home away from home"
Santana Holiday Resort
"Very pleasant stay, well maintained and secure property. The heated pool was a hit with everyone. Perhaps renting out beach towels may be a revenue stream that can be looked at otherwise a very relaxing and affordable vacation. The managing staff were very friendly and helpful - the cleaning staff were a bit morose possibly a result of having to work during this time of year ..."
First Group Margate Sands
"It's disappointing when a hotel doesn't live up to its star rating. It seems like your experience fell far short of your expectations, and the only redeeming quality was the view. It's frustrating when accommodations don't meet the standards they advertise. I truly despised the fact that we were required to adhere to a timetable for water usage in the building. Additionally, halfway through preparing dinner, we were hit by load shedding, and despite the presence of backup generators, they failed to function, leaving us waiting for almost two hours until power was restored. Moreover, despite the hotel's rules prohibiting noise and drinking around the pool, these rules were flagrantly violated for about four hours with no intervention from staff. When I attempted to address the issue of load shedding with hotel staff, one intoxicated individual from the pool confronted me aggressively, as if looking for a fight. I tried to leave the hotel immediately after check-in due to the water crisis, which was only disclosed after I had already made payment. However, my request for a refund was met with refusal. As someone with many years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am sorry to say that this experience was nothing short of a disgrace."
