Hotel Selen Marmaris From Dalaman airport to the hotel to go one and a half to two hours. I must say we were dropped off first. The people in our hotel were 17 people from the bus. We were at the end of September, it was not hot, we did not even use the air conditioner. By the way, after six there was always a very strong wind and cold, everyone dressed up to warm jackets. Considering that we took the cheapest option before the flight, we did not count on a super hotel. But it was a very clean hotel for a three-ruble note, at least the public places are clean, the tables are tinder, the dishes are clean. The room is normal with comments of course, but we did not expect anything. We took the family because there were three of us. When checking in there was one sheet, and I sleep under a blanket, and my husband under a sheet. As you can imagine, no one gave us anything. survived. In the morning, after going to breakfast, I went to the service room to the cleaners. With the help of a translator on the phone, she asked for a blanket, a sheet and said that the mattress was hard. In 10 minutes, she put two clothes on my mattress and tucked in the sheet, gave me everything I asked for. I later found her and thanked her with 5 euros. Then all the days she twisted our hearts from towels and tidied up something) not super clean of course, but anyway. Left a couple more times for 10 lire to her. Shampoo and gel are put only upon arrival, but we had our own, and I think you could ask if necessary. The food was delicious! Of course, nothing special exotic, like any three-ruble note, but they cooked deliciously. For ten years of trips to Turkey, we have never eaten decently cooked fish, but here it was not dry and tasty, although of course cooked with vegetables in the oven, but tasty. Wings cook well. Eggplants and baked peppers are cooked deliciously, I love this. Various desserts were not only sickly sweet, but also delicious. Beer is poured into plastic glasses, wine was not taken. The hotel is well located, 20-30 minutes walk to the port. Everything is nearby. Stops are also nearby, they went to Icmeler. The beach was not particularly appreciated there, well, maybe the water is a little cleaner. The second time we did not go, everything suited us here. We took sunbeds from the Moon cafe, you still want to drink while you sunbathe. Fresh orange or a cup of coffee and no one bothers to buy more. That is, 250-300 rubles and three sunbeds are yours) Wi-Fi in the hotel is not what. We bought a 15 GB SIM card, if necessary, I gave it out or used it on the beach, there is excellent Wi-Fi. We didn’t take excursions, but we got acquainted with the guide not far from the hotel there is a point there David is the best guide) so he introduced himself, they contacted him on some questions. By the way, they got just on 09/21/22 so all the Turks were ready to help leave the men there in order to save them from mobilization)

The hotel has a parking lot for 8 cars, we had a parking problem when we returned to the hotel in the evening, the internet does not work, they do not even give slippers in the room, the mini refrigerator does not work, the room phone does not work, when I call from my mobile phone they say that there is no service outside working hours, when I asked for room cleaning, they only put the bedspread on properly, I was not satisfied at all. We didn't stay, I definitely wouldn't recommend it...

We rested at the hotel with my husband from August 28 to September 6, 2022. The choice is not random; I liked the location of the hotel during my last visit to Marmaris in 2018. The restaurant's tables are located above the promenade, which gives a feeling of urban style, the sea is 3 (three) minutes away, and from there you can choose the beach and which sun lounger to spend your time on. We traveled and swam a lot. We traveled with Otogar by bus to Fethiye to Oludeniz beach, to Bodrum with a transfer in Mugla, by ferry to Rhodes in Greece (we had a visa left, we used it), of course Icmeler, Turunc and on a yacht. Friends, travel, and you will not have the strength and desire to look at the minor shortcomings of the hotel. The staff tries hard, learns Russian words, is always smiling, helpful, and solves problems quickly. In terms of food, we were happy with everything, the variety for the budget money you spent on the tour. For me, the main thing is that every meal served is freshly prepared. There is decent alcohol in the bar, drinks and coffee are always available. Across the road is a pharmacy, Migros, Panty, Roma with excursions and the whole range of shops and entertainment in Turkey. It's a 15-minute walk to the port and there's a different atmosphere.... Walk and enjoy the beautiful coast of Marmaris!!!! We will return, but to a different hotel (my principle is to visit new places). I recommend!!!!
