What a lovely place to stay on our first visit to Morocco. Very peaceful and quiet despite being so close to the bustling nightlife of the Kasbah district. A wonderful, spacious room, great WiFi and the kindest, most generous hosts you could wish for. The breakfasts were wonderful, but the lasting memory will always be the kindness of Mohammed and his wonderful mother. Beautiful people in a beautiful place. We will return!

This is a fabulous Riad. Family-run, nothing is too much trouble. My flight was delayed and it was 2 am when my taxi dropped me in the area. One of the family got out of bed, came to meet me and take me through the lane ways to the Riad with a smile and a welcome. Incredible! I am gluten intolerant and they provided an absolutely delicious breakfast to suit my diet every day (photo attached). The location is 10 mts walk from the main square inside the Kasbah. the rooms are immaculate and the Riad is spotlessly clean. There is a Hammam bath and massage available on the premises that I would highly recommend. Overall, staying here was a really positive experience and I would certainly recommend it to other travelers.

Would highly recommend Riad Miel Et Une Nuit in the centre of Marrakech made you feel like you are part of the community The hotel was truly Moroccan This experience gives you an insight into the way they live and a big thank you for the way we were treated in the week we spent there From the 2nd we walked and we were made to feel welcome By the staff And this continued during the full week of our stay The breakfast we were given every morning was exceptional Truly Moroccan and a nice change to a big fry The room was cleaned and beds were made, with fresh towels every day. With a welcome smile every time you enter the building Large shared breakfast table which I found nice To share with other nationalities. One nice moment when asking if I could use the fridge in their kitchen. Was told to treat this like my home. Every member of staff was welcoming throughout the whole week. A true credit to the owner of this hotel. Lovely, quirky hallways.Nice touch with the roof terrace. And due to being only 5 rooms, it felt nice. After a long hot day in Marrakech, Was welcomed. By a member of staff turning all the lights on for us Lovely little touches, So would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting Marrakech.

The staff were lovely, the room was so pretty and clean. The bathroom was really clean too. The food was served family style with a different selection every day. They were really helpful with water and directions. A little out of the way for tourist attractions but made you feel very immersed in the environment. Would stay again

Very welcoming, very clean, excellent location for sites and Medinas and Souks. We were here during the quake, was a scary experience, felt looked after , Abdhul communicated to leave and followed up with advice re return night of the quake , found us in the square to check we were ok before apologising he had to leave to check on family members bless him. The hot water and wifi was unbelievably not interrupted when we returned- which we were not expecting so able to communicate with family and friends we were fine. Breakfast was perfect. Our room was very spacious and clean, lovely large fluffy bath towels. Bathroom is a compact wet room but everything works and shower power is good and good temperature control. Lovely toiletries provided. Nice roof terrace- buy your own alcohol if you wish to drink alcohol, be aware no fridge in room but is available to use downstairs. Nothing is too much trouble. Felt so very welcome and will definitely return, if you want to have an authentic Moroccan get away, meet other people/guests it has a warm homely feel and is an ideal choice. I hope these wonderful people can recover from recent events. We will be back thankyou! X One tip… roaming charges in Morocco are extortionate download Maps.me app to get around- we found everywhere and shows back alleys and walkways as well as roads markets and tourist sites and shows your location vis GPS offline.

Wonderful little hidden gem if you want to stay around the locals and in the heart of it all. If you want a fancy hotel then this isn’t for you - stay in the new town! Don’t feel intimidated by the trek to the riad, it is completely safe. Just be aware of the bikes/mopeds as they won’t move but you get used to it. The ladies at the riad work so hard especially Rashida who made our lovely breakfast each morning, it was enough to keep us going. We would definitely stay here if we were to visit again!

We were greeted by Abdel at our taxi around the Kasbah area of Marrakech, right in the middle of a thriving area of shops, restaurants, and street vendors. Abdel then walked with us to the Riad / Hotel. The Riad is around a three minute walk from the Kasbah, down lanes that motor bikes can travel down but not as many cars. Saying that when on the roof of the Riad, you're actually only one rooftop away from the hustle and bustle of the Kasbah, although quiet. The front door of the Riad is beautiful, and the smell as you enter is absolutely fabulous. When you first enter, you don't know where to look as very beautiful. We were met with a lovely glass of mint tea, a brief meet and greet, then, shown to our room on the first floor. Our room was perfect, quite large, with a large double and two single beds. The air-conditioned room was very clean, with its own private bathroom, including shampoo, body wash, and towels. The Riad has a communal eating area where breakfast is served, which is great as you have the opportunity to speak with the other guests. It also has a rooftop, which is great at sunset. Breakfasts are light and tasty served with wonderful Moroccon coffee. Abdel, Hammed, and Aisha are perfect hosts who work very hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are keen to help. There is also a very friendly lady who cleans the rooms. The perfect place to stay in Marrakech if you wish to immerse yourself in local culture and food whilst being cared for by perfect hosts. Thank you so much Love Jill and Allan Stevenson
