Havona Hotel @ Permas Jaya - Self Check-In
"A small and simple place for a short stay. Place was clean and satisfactory, with self check in services. Please take note ‼️ The aircon was leaking and dripping water while I slept at night. I had to use a cup to collect the leaking water and it disturbed my night of sleep. The room had windows without any views overlooking, it was a view of the wall."
D Elegance Grand Bandar Seri Alam
"Best. The hotel is new and clean. It's close to many restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The only thing is the toilet doesn't have a bidet spray, just a bidet. Everything else was great."
Lavender Inn Permas Jaya
"Very comfortable night stay with friendly reception to satisfied all our needs… convenient place for stop over while we depart for cruising the next day in sg!!! Highly recommended for short stay with ample parking!"
I am Jazz Hotel
"I had a very disappointing stay at I am Jazz Hotel. The soundproofing is extremely poor — I could hear almost every noise from outside the room, including people talking, doors opening and closing, and even traffic noise from the main road. What made it worse was that there were many guests checking in and out late at night, creating constant noise in the hallway. Shockingly, housekeeping was also cleaning rooms after midnight, which made it almost impossible to sleep. This is honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I strongly hope the management improves the soundproofing and late-night noise control for future guests."
Grand Far East Hotel
"Nice Place and good service"
Four Points by Sheraton Johor Bahru
"Great stay! ✨ The hotel was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Loved the gym facilities, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything exceeded expectations—would definitely stay here again! 😊"
Hotel Legend Boutique
"Very clean and neat hotel. Saw some review of not having 24hr hot water shower, however I did not experience such issue. Everything is fine during my 2 nights stay. Surrounding have alot of eateries which I have been spoilt by choices. There is also a night Market on every Sunday which is worth going for some street food."
V3 Hotel & Residence Seri Alam
"The food is okay, not buffer style. But the room need to improve more"
Aladdin Dream Hotel
"Nice and clean"

Yangtze Home Stay (G-Residence)
"Not recommended at all. Firstly, the key collection was a distance away from the actual apartment. Secondly, on trip.com, it was stated for deposit to be MYR 50, but when we arrived, the staff mentioned that it is MYR 200. When we showed her the screen on trip.com, she said the MYR 50 was for cleaning fee instead. She also insisted that we should do a bank transfer but we couldn’t as we are foreigners. She refused to accept cash nor credit card and claimed that we were making things difficult. The apartment was also not ready when we checked in at 3.30pm when it’s supposed to be ready by 3pm. Her attitude was terrible. She also didn’t give us clear instructions on who to look for at the apartment in order to check in, and we wasted a lot of time trying to find their staff. I insisted to speak to the manager instead, whom apologised and agreed to let us pay the deposit in cash and we agreed on MYR 100. She also offered us late check out since the apartment wasn’t ready. While the manager made some efforts in customer recovery, I will still not recommend as they also claimed that they were not aware that their apartment was listed on trip.com. The apartment was also not cleaned thoroughly, there were strands of hair lying around in the apartment. The sliding doors to the balcony also couldn’t be locked and the balcony was connected to the neighboring units."
