"Where to start. Thank you for an incredible holiday, we just returned home from a 10 night stay in paradise. Total bliss and relaxation. We went all inclusive and we were delighted. Multiple food options from Buffet, à la carte and snack bars. The food was all lovely and plentiful. Some restaurants were more to our taste than others but if you don’t enjoy your meal you can just go somewhere else! If you like a drink, the cocktails beer and wine are on tap on AI. You can eat and drink until your heart is content. With all inclusive you also have full use of the thalasso gym and thermal experience along with tennis and paddle. Super fun. This hotel is very accessible. The suites are beautiful, quiet and spacious, air con is a little noisy but it’s very welcomed. The staff are exceptional. Mario 🫶 what a legend. You made us feel we were the only guests. A credit to the resort and an absolute gem! Big Miguel and small Miguel (from chile) were fabulously helpful and cheerful and professional. Laura (from Colombia) was wonderful, blonde lady with tattoos in the restaurant, thank you for the morning red bull you are the best !!!! Eva and the guy behind the bar with the great hair who makes incredible cocktails. The girl in the restaurant with the two plaits, all of the staff to be honest. They could not be more helpful and professional. It’s very obvious the staff at this resort take exceptional pride in their work. Thank you for everything. We would love to come back and would not hesitate to recommend this adults only resort, it is perfection. You could visit alone easily and for those with mobility requirements this hotel is absolutely ideal. The Pool area is wonderful, plenty of sunbeds. People do reserve them every morning but it’s ok as there are plenty. Sun sea sand and happiness. The local area is stunning. We have stayed at 4 barcelo now and will definitely be booking again. "The hotel is spotlessly clean, located a few minutes from the beach. It’s a huge complex but never felt crowded. A few comments mentioned needing to be out with a towel at 6am. We didn’t find this and either put a towel down before breakfast or simply didn’t bother and we never struggled. Food was generally pretty good and the restaurant service was good. When it came to leaving we could pay 22 euro for a late checkout which worked for us. Now for the not so great bits. The Wi-Fi was less that useless. I brought my laptop to do the odd bit of work but it wasn’t reliable enough. The laptop stayed in the safe all week. Good in one way but if you need reliable Wi-Fi this is not the hotel for you. Don’t be fooled by the talk of 8 pools including an adult only and one with Bali beds. You do not have access to these unless you have paid extra to join the favourite club. We booked the hotel as it had an adults area, if we’d have realised this then we wouldn’t have booked this hotel. Finally from a personal point of view I don’t like vaping. I appreciate some people love the smell of wild berries and puffing it out for everyone else in the bar to smell. My opinion is that if you’re sat inside under a no smoking sign then you probably shouldn’t be vaping. Vaping was acceptable inside the bars here. Great if you love vaping, not so good if you don’t. Different country, different rules so it’s an observation rather than a criticism."

"This was our first family holiday together with my wife and 8 month old son! The hotel was brilliant, the staff were very welcoming and very engaging at meal times and around the hotel! The room was perfect and the food was different each night and we were able to mash up the food options for our son (breakfast and dinner not so much the lunch options) Instant access to the beach, 3 swimming pools with a great atmosphere. All other residents were nice and engaging with our son! One head up get down early to put your towel down! Would highly recommend and a 15/20mins walk to the main town area. We will be back for sure!"

"The location of the hotel isn’t very ideal. It’s out the way of the beach and main shops. The hotel itself is dirty. There is dirt sludge all around the pool and the frame and steps to the water slides. The rooms are uncomfortable and very outdated and in need of repair. The food is terrible for an all inclusive. Seems to be very repetitive with the same things every night. The floors in the restaurant and extremely slippery and the flooring around the pool and can get very hot to the point I burnt a piece of on the bottoms of my foot. They have a policy to not reserve sun beds but there all gone the night before. Staff at the reception are not very helpful and can be very rude in general. Was told the rooms would be cleaned on day 2 and 4 of stay but all they did was make the bed with the same sweaty sheets and mop the dirt around the room. The beds are camp beds and very uncomfortable. The mattress are old and some dirty needing new ones. They put covers over to hide it all. The shower plug is loose and comes off, making it dangerous. In general I wouldn’t put this above a 2 star at best. Not a place we will be visiting again. Holiday was ruined with lack of sleep on uncomfortable camp beds, Not a nice place"

"For the non-fussy members of the family, the food variety was great although the themed nights rotate weekly so you may have the same options again if you are there for more than 7 days. Even though there was plain salad, chips, plain pasta, pizza - the fussy members of the family did not eat very much :( For breakfast, there was something for everyone. We went all inclusive to give the kids flexibility so they had a lot of chips/burgers/pizza/onion rings from the lunch cabinet in the pool bar - this suited them and they were able to help themselves. Rooms were big and comfortable although the sofa bed was too hard for the kids - we did request a mattress topper which was provided (although it had a weird scratchy top so we used the spare duvets to cover that) Guests do put towels down on sunbeds from 9am but we did managed to get them, even if it was around the kids pool - this was fine as it was not far to the large pool and actually pretty peaceful. The bar in the evening was nice but service was slow, probably not enough staff - could it have been to reduce the no. of all inclusive drinks provided? maybe.... Good location - 10 mins walk to aqua park in one direction, 10 mins to Corralejo centre the other - lots of shops, bars and restaurants to look at on the way."

"Our experience was magnificent. We are a vegan couple and the restaurant staff really went out of their way to satisfy our every need. The welcome, from check-in to the last day of our stay, was the best we had ever received. Big smiles and really good manners. The room was as great. The towels smelled of laundry softener and the room was always very clean. The hotel is beautiful with its enchanting garden of cactus plants of all species and a view of the desert and barren mountains. In short, a really good hotel to recommend without doubt to everyone."

"We had a lovely stay at the Rio Palace Tres Islas in Fuerteventura. The hotel was very clean, and all of the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s a beautiful setting and ideal for unwinding. Our room was clean and comfortable, although it is starting to look a little dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The hotel was generally kept very clean, but we felt the areas around the sunbeds by the pools could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The only disappointment was the food temperature. Although there was a good choice of food, the hot dishes were often only lukewarm despite being served from hot plates. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday."
