Hotels Near Malacca Chinese Methodist Church (CAC) in Melaka Tengah

The view from my room is beautiful, can see Melaka River and all city 🫶🏻… Free parking provided for guest(sharing park with swiss gardeen hotel,Level 7&8) But to be honest for staycation is just nice, u do not expect to much yaa.. The room i got level 31-092, air-conditioning not properly functioning. The designer for bathroom wall(are glasses) not suitable for family or friends to stay together unless a married couple. Because you all can see transparency thru the glass, no binder provided and also the bathroom door no doorknob yaa. You guys can imagine, no privacy😅 Yes, for the lift until August 2024 there is not improvement despite a lot of complaint 🤒 It can be ages to waiting for the lift.

Enjoyed the good breakfast here ,especially the coffee machine available to have a cup of coffee in the morning. Hotel room was clean but a bit dirty on the towel . The service team was great and friendly. A bit disappointed was the swimming pool is small and close early .

This hotel is located near Jonker Street, so it’s very convenient to walk to nearby places for food, shopping, and more. I think the location is excellent. However, the one thing that I was really dissatisfied with is that the rooms seem to be designed for families, and they may have slides or play areas for children. I happened to stay on the ground floor, and unfortunately, the family staying in the room above mine had children who didn't sleep at night. When they were playing upstairs, I could clearly hear their footsteps from the ground floor, which disturbed my sleep. They were still playing past 2 in the morning, which was the only thing I wasn't happy about. This hotel is quite new, and in terms of cleanliness, I think it’s still okay for now. However, if I were to consider staying at this hotel again, I would have to think about it. If I’m assigned to the ground floor again, I might not choose to stay here.

Great facilities, very clean and big room under this price. Services are limited because it’s not really offer directly from the hotel staying (The Pines). The lift is crazily fast (in a good way)!

From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with a smile, offering valuable tips and ensuring all my needs were met promptly. For those seeking a blend of comfort, nostalgia, and outstanding hospitality in Melaka, Bayview Hotel Melaka is highly recommended.

Regular guest at this hotel due its excellent location close to the main tourist attractions, eateries and shopping malls. Room is comfortable and quite spacious. My usual grouse is the tiny shower cubicle that leaves splashes of water on the bathroom floor. But overall, a satisfactory stay.

Nice view from pub at 22nd floor. Good swimming pool. Nearby good eateries like Jollibee, McDonalds, Subway, Starbucks, nasi kandar, Nanyang chicken rice, London cafe etc. 5 mins walk to Mahkota Parade and Parkson Ria for shopping. A lot of shops selling sports attire and shoes. 10 mins walk to Jonker street and weekend pasar malam. Special compliments to Mufizruddin for great customer service at the swimming pool area and recommending us a nice kampung nasi lemak.

I like to book MITC hotel everytime i visit melaka. The location is very strategic as it is near ayer keroh. The room is clean and comfortable. Really worth it.

This is not my first time staying at Ames Hotel, it's my third time, and it will be the last!! I travel for business almost every week, both within Malaysia and abroad. I have stayed in dozens of hotels, as you can see from my record on the Agoda website, but this has been the worst stay ever!!! I arrived at midnight, and no staff assisted with my luggage. There was a male staff in a black shirt who just walked past me at my car without offering any help, and there was also a pregnant woman (a customer) who just got out of her car to check in, and no one helped her either. The night manager, named FARED, assisted with my check-in. I requested a late check-out at 3 PM because I had an event under my company at the Ames Hotel as well, but the next morning, he informed me that I had to check out at 2 PM. I complied even though I had told Mr. FARED the night before about the late check-out at 3 PM. However, when I was having breakfast at the Merchant Lounge, a manager named JOSEPH told me that I had to check out by 1 PM, even though FARED had confirmed with me the night before that I could check out by 2 PM. I find this completely unacceptable. JOSEPH also mentioned that my room was upgraded for free, even though I paid extra for the suite—it was not free. I found this extremely rude and unprofessional because he did not check my room details before speaking with me. He made it seem like I received a complimentary upgrade and was not entitled to the service I deserved. This is extremely disrespectful, and this is my honest review of Ames Hotel Melaka. Thank you to the lounge staff named DILA for calming my wife and me and providing good hospitality service.
