Alfons Hotel
"Great hotel"
Hotel Patricia Menorca
"Nice location in the town of ciutadella. We had a suite as you get the extra outside space, large terrace with two sunbeds and a table & chairs. Nice big room. Digging up a road outside most of our stay so a little annoying when on the terrace. My worst part was on two consecutive mornings, I had ants drop into my cereal bowl along with my cereals, they obviously lived in the cereal dispenser. I left them both mornings and didn't try again after that. Good selection of other breakfast foods though."
Pardela Menorca
"What a great little place I was so impressed from the moment I entered the door, we were given a code to enter the door and get our room key which was all very simple and organised. The room was above and beyond my expectations with a fantastic bathroom and rain shower. There is a kitchen area upstairs where you can make yourself something to eat and a lovely roof terrace with great views over the rooftops down to the harbour and only a few minutes walk down to gorgeous Cala fonts. Last but not least I need to mention the owner Jody she was such a great help with everything and even organised a taxi to take us back to the airport. Thank you for such a great few days we will definitely be back. "
Galdana Gardens
"It was our second time at Galdana Gardens. It is very clean the rooms and surrounding areas are kept beautifully. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely apartment and we requested a certain room and they obliged. Would definitely go again"
TRH Tirant Playa
"Positives: Food was fine for the early booking price, and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. Facilities were acceptable for what we paid. The location is peaceful and calm, close to Fornells port, which is nice if you’re looking for a quieter stay. Being on the north side of the island means south coast beaches are a bit of a drive — around 25–30 minutes each way. Negatives: While the location is near Tirant beach, the sand is darker and there is a lot of uncleared seaweed. We also noticed ants inside the facilities. From the start, communication from reception was inconsistent and frustrating. At check-in we were told there would be no cleaning or towel changes during our 7-night stay unless towels were “very dirty.” On Tuesday, when we requested fresh bath towels, we were informed there would be a €3 charge. We also paid €6 to rent a pool towel, but this deposit was never refunded at check-out — something that had not been mentioned beforehand. Obtaining the pool towel became a repeated hassle: every time we asked, the front desk said it would be ready in a certain amount of time, but when we returned, it still wasn’t available and we were given yet another time to come back. This happened at least five times, and the towel was only given to us after several days. Strangely, on Wednesday our flat was cleaned and towels replaced without warning — despite being told earlier that this service was not included. The all-inclusive package was limited to just three meals per day with no snacks, and desserts were always the same with no variety. The bar and restaurant appeared understaffed, there was no entertainment, parking was limited, and overall the front desk staff were not particularly helpful or clear with information."
Hotel Casa Miranda - Adults Only
"Excellent hotel, clean and well located in the hearth of Maon. The front desk was helpful and kind."
Boutique Hotel Sant Roc & Spa
"Boutique hotel right in the city center but very quiet. Super comfortable bed and large, thick towels. The staff was very friendly."
Sagitario Menorca Mar Adults Only
"Just returned from a fabulous 5 night break. Having not had the opportunity to stay in an adults only resort before, I have to say this was the most relaxing holiday I've ever taken. The resort was beautiful, the staff were friendly and attentive, gave us directions to the local area on arrival and a bus time table. The property is perfectly situated between cala n bosch and Citudella and we had a wonderful time exploring both. The local bus is fantastic €1 to Cala n bosch €2 to Citudella run reasonably regular with a stop a 2 minute walk from the hotel. All in all we had an amazing time, don't usually visit a place twice but I think we may have to return, only thing that could of made it better was if we had been able to get a poolside room, but our room was nice enough tucked round the corner and glad it didn't get the afternoon sun as it was 28°. Other things to note that I wish I had known in advance - the hotel provides, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser, and dish / hand soap (good to know if packing light). Pool towels are also available free of charge (I believe €2 charge to change them but we didn't) . Tips for local area - Can Joan is a fantastic little restaurant just off the harbour front, cheaper than other places and good quality tapas. Best bar is Chaplins, very friendly staff and smoking is allowed (lots of places are now anti smoking to my surprise). Boat trip to Cala Ganada is worth doing a beautiful resort with plenty of free time, even if you wanted to explore rather than spend the entire time on the beach. Citudella is a must, fantastic city with plenty to see and do. Lastly we did eat in the hotel on our last night and we thought the food was very good quality and a good price, also a jug of white sangria is delicious. Thank you again Menorca Mar see you next time"
Hotel Rural Biniarroca - Adults Only
"I have been visiting this hotel since 2016 and no longer look at other hotels when booking my summer holiday. This is a little piece of paradise on the beautiful island of Menorca. The staff are exceptional and are more like friends than hotel workers. I always get a warm, personal welcome, and I adore them all! The food is superb, the service is excellent, everywhere is spotlessly clean, and the pool and gardens are the best. "

Grupoandria Hotel Platja Gran
"Not great... first room didn't have working air conditioning. Long wait for room change. And a cockroach in the bathroom on the last day. Great... but very well located, though!"
Grupotel Tamariscos
"The location and pool areas are fantastic. The staff were also really friendly. The rooms are quite dated but we were happy with the sea view. I would recommend providing some tea and coffee as well as some washing up supplies. We were only given 1 bottle of water for the stay."
Hotel Bahia
"Our food was delicious. Tuna carpaccio with added minute lemon drops was amazing. Beef stroganoff was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Steak cooked as requested. Served with rice. The best meal of our stay to be honest. Our daughter had the clams vongole and again it was delicious. Would definitely recommend for the food alone. The setting and view is a bonus."
Sagitario Princesa Playa
"Excellent hotel, food excellent, staff excellent very clean, would highly recommend. Booked this hotel on other reviews,"
Bordoy Casa Ládico - Hotel Boutique Adults Only
"The hotel is conveniently located in the city, with a partner parking lot just over 100 meters away, offering affordable parking and 24-hour access. The hotel is adults-only and has a pleasant atmosphere. Snacks, fruit, coffee, and tea are available in the lobby, and drinks and alcohol are provided in the room refrigerators, all complimentary. There is a small swimming pool in the courtyard. The front desk has regular hours and excellent service, and the breakfast is small but delicious. A drawback is the poor soundproofing, especially in Room 1, which is located close to the main entrance and faces the street. It can be quite noisy at night, disrupting sleep."
Torralbenc, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World
"our children have bought a voucher for a menù degustaciòn & cata de vino to celebrate our 40th anniversary of wedding. Upon our arrival we asked what the menu was including in terms of wine and the waitress told us with nonchalance that we could take a bottle of wine. We have chosen one of your Torralbenc white wines, which honestly speaking was not what we expected from a location and wine maker such as you're supposed to be. On top of that, boh waitresses had major difficulties explaining every dish course which made the experience even more difficult. We must say that this experience was rather disappointing both in terms of food and wine. Nobody told us that we paid a surcharge to taste more than only one wine - at least the experience could have been a bit more exciting. Anyhow, be sure that we will not recommend your location."
La Quinta Menorca by PortBlue Boutique - Adults Only
"The pool is great, the spot is perfect since it's 10 min walk from 2 really good beachs and the staff are amazing! First time in menorca and I totally recomend this hotel."
Villa Le Blanc Gran Melia
"At 6:45 in the evening, we waited 40 minutes for five margaritas, one gin tonic one mojito and one Caipirinha. They cane in dribs and drabs without much taste if alcohol. The caipirinha was a caipirospo with rum. I have drunk this drink for 40 years and I know the difference if they just said we don’t have Cachasa I would’ve drunk tequila. After an exaggerated weight with cocktails coming here there and everywhere and never arriving we paid the bill (they took off the Caiparinia) we still paid 140 euros. We are a group of a certain age with a certain amount of money to soend. The hotel could have had us to stay another time we were checking it out to see what service was like. It was a really really bad service. They need to change their ways and tell @Adrian this is not good marketing. We won’t be going back we won’t be staying there and we won’t be seeing any of your chain of hotels. You never know who is in your hotel and who you are serving in any type of service industry it doesn’t matter that a bar man was down it doesn’t matter that the waitress was lovely. They should’ve said from the outset we are a barman out. It’s going to be a 45 minute wait in that case we could’ve decided to stay or go. we could’ve come back the next night but not telling us meant we will bot come back."
Grupotel Playa Club
"This is a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the waiters/ waitresses and the ladies who cleaned the rooms. The hotel is located not far from the beach and there are also local shops around. The only thing is that we had to pay extra for drinks, which we didn’t know beforehand. My family and I had a really calm and relaxing stay. I highly recommend the hotel."
Bluesea Playa Azul
"On arrival, we were initially very pleased with the hotel. The atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, which made for a great first impression. The bungalow-style rooms were spacious and offered beautiful views, which we really appreciated. The pool area was also a highlight—lovely setting with amazing scenery. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection, although the lunch and dinner menus were quite limited, which became repetitive during the stay. Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our overall experience. The air conditioning in the room was very poor—it failed to properly cool the space and would switch off after around 15 minutes. In addition, we encountered several cockroaches in the room, which was extremely distressing, particularly as I have a phobia. As a result, we barely slept, also finding the beds quite uncomfortable. We also attempted to extend our stay, but were told the hotel was fully booked, despite being able to find availability online. This was frustrating and confusing. Furthermore, there were no shower facilities available after check-out, which was inconvenient given we couldn’t keep the room. Overall, while the hotel has some strong positives such as its peaceful setting, views, and pool area, the issues with cleanliness, comfort, and service significantly impacted our stay."
Bimbolla Apartaments
"Everything is very clean and well-stocked. You have everything, utensils, jewelry, and a micro-fridge. However, the bathroom is a bit outdated and the closet has a bit of mold inside. Everything else is super good."
Seth Santo Tomás
"This is the best hotel we have ever been to! We first came here 10 years ago or even longer and we have come back since. All of the staff are amazingly kind especially Johnny and Mave there are more but don’t know there names!! We will be back next year. Love from the Field family."
Alua Illa de Menorca
"The hotel is located in a very quiet area. Parking is free, but it's true that there are few spaces, and if you arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon, you'll have to find somewhere to park nearby. On the other hand, the facilities are fine, and my only gripe is the early closing time of the pool (7:00 PM) and the fact that you can't have a drink on the terrace after midnight. Overall, a good experience."
Palladium Hotel Menorca
"Good hotel in a quiet area."
Gran Sagitario
"We have just recently returned from an 11 night stay at Gran Sagitario and we have had an absolutely brilliant holiday. We are home feeling relaxed and refreshed. All the staff (bar none) are a credit to the place. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of all areas and the food is the best we have ever had on our many holidays abroad. Individual tapas style dishes offered at dinner were a welcome change to the usual buffet style offerings of many other establishments and the accompanying wine selection was really good. The local Binifidet and Torallbenc come highly recommended! The rooms are lovely with toiletries provided and have a good sized balcony, with rooms overlooking the pool getting afternoon sun and where we could sit and watch the lovely sunsets. It was also very refreshing to see nobody reserving sunbeds with towels early in the morning which has become the norm at so many places. That meant that you could easily enjoy a lovely relaxed breakfast with the knowledge that you were always going to get a bed by the pool afterwards. The pool is a good size and very relaxing and we liked the policy of no inflatables or balls being allowed. I noted that someone on a previous review felt the dining room was very bright and lacked atmosphere, but the whole hotel has a modern minimalistic vibe so felt it quite in keeping with that theme. There is an outdoor terrace also available for dining and we opted to sit here for our meals, as we like to make the most of the gorgeous Mediterranean climate. We thought it may be a good idea for half board guests to be able to swap an evening meal for a lunch at the poolside bar so that it could be possible to sample some of the lovely eating places around the island on an evening. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area but there are a couple of beach bars just down a small hill where we enjoyed a late afternoon drink and the resort of Cala Blanca is a ten minute walk away and we walked along to the Blarney Stone on the seafront too. Buses in Menorca are very reliable and punctual and it takes all of five minutes to get to the the next resort of Cala n Bosch. We ventured in a couple of times for a swim at the beach, a walk around the marina and tapas and drinks. We normally stay in Cala n Bosch (at another Sagitario property) so it was nice to be able to revisit some of our favourite places. Don Carlos on the corner at the marina is great for a G&T, and for tapas head round to El Rincon de Irma, opposite the Suites del Lago hotel. We also ventured along to Son Xoriguer beach and had drinks at the little strip of bars there. Here you will also find a really good ice cream shop! Off in the other direction and in ten minutes, the bus will also take you into Cuitadella and a place certainly worthy of a visit. Lovely winding streets, a harbour, little cafes and bars and some really good little boutiques, its great to spend a while here sampling the local culture. Menorca truly is a l"
